Great value Hotel.  Very new hotel.

Rooms - Good bedding, nice bathrooms, nice flatscreen TV's, mini-fridge, quiet hvac system.  (only drawback is the drapes don't completely close to keep light out)

Service - Excellent. Very friendly employees.

Breakfast - Excellent.  Hot and cold selections.

Location - Very convenient.  Worth the short drive to all the local sites to save some $$$.  It's not "downtown" but it's also not downtown pricey.

Amenities - Nice pool. Small but nice exercise room.  Computer available for guest use to check email, etc.

Basically, it's a great place for $100 a night (or maybe less during the week).  Also, it's next to the Fun Depot ... which is a very cool spot for kids.  Batting cages, mini-golf, go-carts, arcade games.  The hotel actually has a discount ticket package available.

I don't give out 5 stars often, but I can't deduct a star for not having great drapes:-)

This place is okay. It's a step up from a Budget Inn or one of those lower-ranking chain places. The price was very reasonable for a Sunday night. With 10% off coupon it was like $85. The downside is that we got TOTALLY lost getting there. (apparently there are 2 Roberts Roads in Asheville). It's real close to the Biltmore Estate and Biltmore Village, but the road it's on is more like an industrial part of town. (think truck stop area). But the room was pretty nice and quite spacious.

There was actually a hot breakfast...eggs, sausage and make-your-own waffle. And the staff was friendly (although my attempt at getting a shower cap was unsuccessful ).

The funniest part of the entire experience was that my mother left her jacket in the room after we had checked out. We realized it a week later after my mom flew back home and couldn't find it. I called the hotel. They confirmed that there was a jacket left in our room from that night (would have been even better if they had called us and informed us that a jacket was left behind). Nonetheless, I asked if they could mail it to her. The guy on the phone told me it was no problem. He then charged my mother's credit card for $7 to ship it. (he could have told me he was going to do that when I spoke to him over the phone). That was just a bit rude and nervy, in my opinion.
I'm not jumping for joy over this place. It was clean and decent, but it wasn't anything over the top.

Very good service! I called them to ask about a group rate for a reception we were having in town and they told me just to tell my guests to mention our name and they would give them the group rate, no matter how many were going to show up.  I checked out the rooms and they were very nice.  And as an Asheville native, it's in a very convenient location for anyone who wants to check out the sights.

I stayed at the Brookstone Lodge in May. I found it to be very comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly. A word of advice, don't stay for the free breakfast. It was terrible, and there are so many great places to go for breakfast in Asheville. The Brookstone isn't downtown but is conveniently located, only a short drive to downtown or to the Biltmore House. I would definitely stay there again.

This is a newer, privately owned hotel about 2 miles from Biltmore Estate and 4 miles from downtown Asheville.  It's a good central location right off I-40 and much cheaper than the downtown hotels.  We stayed here over a long weekend in January and really enjoyed it.  The staff is what makes this place great.  They were super nice at check-in/check-out and constantly suggested where to eat and go.  The rooms appeared brand new and were spotless.  Ours had a huge shower, sitting area, and large LCD TV.  Breakfast was included with the stay and was better than the standard continental (hot sausage, scrambled eggs, freshly made waffles, etc).  We had a couple problems with noise, but the manager handled it outstandingly.  He even called me the day after to make sure we left happy.  We will definitely be stay here again soon.

I agree with the other reviews, except noise was a big issue. Our first night there we were on the third floor at the front of the building. There are two traffic signals in front. All night long, trucks screeched to a stop and then powered away from one or the other light. Then at about 2:00 am, the people on the floor above decided to take up square dancing - at least it sounded like it. I believe this hotel has wooden sub-floors, unlike the concrete normally found. Every footstep above was felt in our room. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to the top floor at the back of the hotel which was fine the following night. Nonetheless, if this hotel was an experiment to save money on concrete floors, it has failed.
