Came here with a friend on a Saturday night, considering it was pouring cats and dogs, with flash flood warnings issued throughout the tri-state area, the bar had a decent crowd.  There was a good number of people there to make it enjoyable.

The bartender was great.  Considering he was bar tending by himself, he did a heck of a job make sure everyone had a drink in their hands.  When we got there, about 10pm, drinks were 1/2 price across the board.  I don't remember the exact hours but I think it ended like 11pm.  At 1/2 price we were pretty happy and toasty well before the 11pm cutoff on drinks special.

The bartender did a wonderful job mixing the drinks.  Mind eraser, B-52 and my usual Tanqueray & Tonic. There was another shot my friend ordered but the name is a blur at this current time.

The crowd was very cool and the resident DJ arrived at 11pm and started jammin' old school 80's tunes, awesome!

There was plenty of space towards the back of the bar, enough for a dance floor, an outside deck area and supposedly an outdoor lounge which I didn't get a chance to check out.

All in all a very good night out.  I think this place would be good for a private party for sure.  Verdict:  Yay! I'm a fan.

I was just there this past Saturday and was not impressed with the bar. The crowd came in  in dribs and drabs, although it's decorum was cute and simple; However, I can not same about everything else. There was a huge amount of pot smoking in their "garden area" which was overwhelming but not shocking. I was just a little worried about cops and neighbors! I  mean out in the open?! I didn't know NY had the same privileges as Amsterdam!!

The bartender was not as great as the other reviews claim! I was served  by a less then attentive and unskilled bartender. Who was  more involved with mixing in the crowed then the people that she was hired to serve. No tip for her!!!
Yes,  as the reviews claim one of the owners did jump behind the bar when things got hectic for the bar's playmate.  unafraid and helpful he was but just as unskillfully as the unconscious, petite, two toned haired, simple bartender.
From my understanding  it was one of the owners that was walking around with huge wads of cash in his hands obviously flaunting his profits. professional and good entrepreneurial skills? NOT!!

When I went to the bathroom the line was typical but when i finally made my way in after waiting for groups of people to pour out.. there was no toilet paper in either of the two bathrooms! One was terribly covered with vomit EVERYWHERE Eewwww !!! There was defiantly an exorcism performed in there from the looks for it!!! hahah

Me and my girlfriends made a run for it!! lol

Yes the list goes on. I am not perfect but tell me where you hangout and with who and I'll tell you who you truly are ( at-least deep down inside). If you don't have high expectations for yourself and of places that you socialize in?  truly want to rub elbows with the lowest of the low? then your good there!! Sorry guys... Your establishment could be better. cute place but when the lights go out,  the creeps come out at night!!

So a good friend of mine organized a tiki-themed night which started at Zombie Hut and ended here. I like theme nights, and fun was had. (At one point in the evening, I even told the bartender that he was--and I quote-- "definitely one of the most attentive I've run into in Brooklyn." And it was true. That guy ruled.) Anyway. There's a good-sized space here considering the area, and there's a ton more the proprietors could do with the space. Tiki torches. Hula-themed drinks! The list goes on! However, as it stands, there's a decent amount of fruity-themed drinks -- but c'mon, throw us a bone! Let's offer shots you have to light on fire!*

* I sound like I'm still in college. I assure you I am not.
