A lot of pizza places today skimp on the quantity and/or quality of their cheese or sauce, this place doesn't. The pizza is great Brooklyn pizza, they truly stand by their name. Service is fast and courteous. Their lunch specials are always great and their specialty slices are amazing. I usually get the fried raviolis, there great and the price is right. I'm actually headed back there right now for now. Lata...

They added new items to their menu, AWESOME!!! Just had some pizza fries (one of the new additions) they were real good. Again, the cheese and the sauce is what makes it what it is and this was top notch. Can't wait to try the pizza burger next time.

UPDATE: There seem to be some haters on yelp that want to do nothing but bash a business because they didn't get their way (by taking advantage of the company). To those users who only create an account with the intention to bad mouth a business when they were the ones who were not understanding that a fresh pizza pie can't be made in 10 minutes, they need to get off their high horse and join the real world. Real, Fresh food takes a little bit of time, after all, this isn't Domino's or McDonald's. "Cardboard pizza"....lol, I'm a Brooklynite from Bensonhurst, there ain't nothin' cardboard about this pizza. Keep up the good work BFP and ignore those BS comments.

Welcome to Brooklyn, USA! This pizza joint is not your ordinary pizzeria. The decor is a homage to everything that makes Brooklyn famous as well as infamous (and no, is not like the pizza joint in Spike Lee's "Do the Right Thing"). The place resembled more like an entrance to an indoor bumper car ride, in an amusement park. You got pics of the Bk Bridge, the Cyclone, the view from Sunset Park, and you also have pics of famous movies featuring Italian Americans, you got the Don (Corleone),the Sopranos, Rocky, and the colors of red, green and white of course. The pizza is good and so are their prices. I also love the fact that there were playing free style and old school hip hop. Good for a quick lunch, great for an afternoon snack, they also play good gangsta flicks on their flat screen.

I actually found this place on Facebook! We've eaten here twice (delivery) and both times the pizza has been delicious! It comes piping hot, fresh, and tasty. This place is my new pizza spot now! The one person who gave them a bad review must've just been mad, yes they DO take a while to deliver but they also state that right on the menu and website!!! This pizza is worth waiting for too! It even tastes great after it's been left to get cold on the counter! I put it in the toaster oven and warm it up and it still tastes fresh. They are also fair priced, not too expensive but not too cheap. I'd avoid the garlic knots though, they were not what I expected at all. Hard and no fresh garlic on them at all. That's been the only thing I ordered from there so far that wasn't good! I let it slide though because they make up for it with the rest of their menu!

Plus they have coupons and honor all of them! Like them on Facebook to get the daily specials and other deals.

Well surely this indeed is a very unique place because of all its pictures of history on the walls and logos, italian pride everywhere, food as well is very tasty..the only minor thing is when it gets full because of the space it can get crowded..and uneasy to eat..but other then that they have my vote.

Since writing my last review, we have ordered their pizza once or twice. Both times it was just cheese pizza without toppings. It's pretty much exactly the kind of pizza anyone thinks of when they hear "New York pizza". The kind of pizza where you have to fold each slice in half because the slices are huge. It was good, but one of these days I must order their vodka pizza!

Is it possible to give a place zero stars? if i could then i would because this place is absolutely gross, incompetent, and cheap.

Let's start with them not having any soda for our special but ginger ale and water. I should have known this place is going to be crappy...i mean who would offer water...Then the delivery guy was super late, and when we called then to ask about our order they replied to us rudely and told us that "well its going to take a while because its good pizza not dominos." well no shit, the place is no where near dominos...which brings me to another point, this place is so shitty and gross. the pizza tasted like cardboard with some cheese and sauce thrown on it. The worse part is that the pizza is tasteless...ABSOLUTELY TASTELESS. i swear, my 9 year old cousin could have prepared better frozen box pizza. Next lets get to the garlic knots..they were so small and it definately SMELLED like garlic but it tasted like hard, expired bread.
Just simply gross. this place is terrible and NO ONE, i mean NO ONE deserves to suffer through cardboard pizza and expired bread for garlic knots. Oh and did i mention that the fries were soggy and gross? Guess i forgot about it because of the other things going on in my food.

I guess this is because of the price. 16 bucks for fries, large pizza, soda, and garlic knots you're not going to get anything thats worth putting in your mouth.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!!!!

Great prices for good food. The seating area is always clean. The decor and staff are unabashedly old-stye Brooklyn, as the name proclaims. Food is made fresh and on the spot. There are frequent coupons and combo deals for neighborhood locals and off-peak orders. There's a large TV always playing an action movie, which is cool. There's always music, as well, but sometimes the volume is a little too loud. Overall, a nice addition with great prices for Sunset Park.
