Still a pretty good place. The food really is not that exceptional, chips and salsa was just salty chips with containers of packaged salsa. And the mini pizza bites were good. The deal here is the $2 cocktail menu, with an assortment of small sized drinks which are pretty tasty. Next time I might go the $4 drinks and see if they are more plentiful. The service is excellent and you get checked on a lot and plenty of offers for more drinks and food, and there are sports TVs on for distraction. They stay open to 9 so it's not a late night place.

Great place! Took my dad here for lunch on his birthday and I had a double burger, with a "B"… Read more »

Eh... Tiny, little, regulation, way overpriced burger. Pass.

Nope!  We were hoping there would be better food here, but we were wrong.  We ordered the specialty double burger with blue cheese and chicken caeser salad.  The burger looked all cute with a "B" branded on, but the bread was too small for the meat and toppings.  The bottom bun was greasy soaked from the first bite.  My jalepenos on the side was right on the burger.  Still, I was hungry and still ate it.  The ceaser's chicken was fine but the dressing was clearly a bottle type dressing and the croutons were the cheap bag ones as well...nothing special and tasteless.

It took awhile for the lunch to come out so my friend's quick lunch was not to happen.  The friendly service was the only saving grace.  Oh well, I never got to try their beer and cocktails.  Probably head over to Nimbus Brewery instead for your meal instead of stopping at the Brooklyn.

Whenever I'm in the mood for a great burger and an ice cold beer I go here.   I tried the boneless wings appetizer once and they weren't great, but I have never been disappointed by the burgers here.  The service has also been really good every time I've gone in.

This is my new pit stop on my way out of the city. The service is amazing & the draught beer selection is extensive (15-20) .
The burger is a burger indeed.

OK, the "great staff" comments I can't argue with, the folks working at Brooklyn's were very pleasant and attentive, no complaints at all in that respect. Now let me address the rest of the story, as the name of this business sells themselves.

"Brooklyn" is part of what attracted me to the place, being a resident of the happening boor and being laid up in a hotel just  stone's throw away. In truth, the owner has no connection with Brooklyn, he hails from Kingston NY, but just thought Brooklyn's had a better ring that Kingston's. The only think on the menu that would have any connection with Brooklyn would be Nathan's Hot Dogs. I don't know how they are prepared.

"Beer" was the other part that attracted me, being the next on the list. Don't bother if you're a beer snob. There were no local brews available on tap and mostly American swill. Bud, Bud Light etc. There was Guinness available, but the selection on tap and in bottles seem to mirror what you'd find in any decently stocked convenience store.

"Burgers", well, they serve up a few varieties of burgers, but the problem is, in my opinion, if the patty is so thin that you  can't specify the wellness of how its cooked, it is a disappointing experience for anyone expecting a premium burger. I would call if a glorified fast-food type patty, maybe 3/16" thick after cooking, which has very little tolerance for anything other than "cooked" or "raw". Dressed up any way they do, it still isn't what I expect to find at a place that has the BURGERS plastered outside. There is indeed a place for thin burgers like these; sliders etc, but I think I would have been equally disappointed if they were serving them up in this style.

A note; until there is a salt-removal device sitting next to a salt-shaker on the table, there should be some degree of caution as to how much salt is applied to french-fries. I thought this is why salt shakers are on the table, so the diner may apply however much salt on the food that they desire. Way over the top Brooklyn.

I suppose for a quickie, you'd be better served here than a typical drive-thru fast food joint, but people are giving those kinds of establishments 3 and four stars on Yelp (no accounting for taste). If you order steaks from Denny's and buy wine from Circle-K, Brooklyn Beer and Burgers might suite you fine, but if you're looking for a premium, think and juicy cooked-to-order burger, skip it.

I go here all the time and I love this place. Great selection of beers on draft and plenty of drinks in the bar. The burgers are good, come as a double which I enjoy. The pizza twisters are the best appetizer on their menu. Their pizza is pretty good too. Has a thin crust on it and the sauce has a little bite to it. The waiters are very friendly and so are the bartenders. Plenty of tvs to watch whatever game you want to. Its a nice causal place to have a burger and beer or watch the game.

Let me start by saying that I loved the place at first. Great customer service, great waitresses, but I will never go back again! Why? They water down their booze!!! I don't mean two dollars specials I mean there a high price drinks. Selling me watered down tequila and I'm latino... Never again!!! Man this one really hurts because me and the guys really enjoyed it a couple of times before my last experience. At first it was the watered down Long Island mix and then finally the Patron shots. I mean I guess that's why they offer 2 dollar cocktails, but I rather pay more and get what I ordered then something watered down.  When we asked for another Long Island but not so watered down they said they could make one TOP SHELF but that it would cost around $20. I don't know if it was the bartender that night (2/3/12) or what but that's just unacceptable! It sucks too, because me and the guys decided this was going to be our "Cheers" spot, since then we are trying out new bars around Tucson to replace Brooklyn B&B...
