Review from Mike Z.
I stopped by here last night after reading the existing reviews and after a flier for the shop appeared on my doorstep/on my house's door handle not too long ago. I'm glad I checked this place out as it is about as authentic a Brooklyn-esque pizza as we'll get here in the Orlando area.
As Peter C. stated, the pizza slices here are large, have a thin crust and aren't greasy. I tried one plain slice and, without even trying it and judging it by appearance alone, was reminded of the pizza I used to eat when I visited Brooklyn while living in N.Y. Upon tasting it, I was further reminded - the aforementioned flier (and the menu I took home with me last night) states that this is authentic Brooklyn pizza, and it doesn't disappoint. I took home a Bianca Tomato & Basil pizza, which essentially is a white pizza with tomatoes and basil. (There was a very appropriate amount of garlic on it, as well, which perfectly added to the flavor.)
The restaurant is pretty small - there may be about 10 tables inside, so you can dine in - but has a pleasant atmosphere and appeared to be clean and well-maintained. A large assortment of soft drinks/beverages is available - you can get fountain drinks or cans of soda/Snapple inside. I even noticed some Stewart's soda in the cooler - wow! That stuff is good.
Lunch specials are offered, and the menu also includes calzones, strombolis, wings, salads, wraps, dinner dishes (lasagna, ziti, etc.) and hot/cold subs. There's even an outdoor seating area in the rear of the restaurant - it looked nice! (I parked adjacent to it.)
Delivery is available, debit/credit cards are accepted and the prices seem to be reasonable. Give this place a shot if you're looking for some authentic Brooklyn-style pizza - I've been here only once, but I think it's the best Brooklyn-style I've had around here. -

Brooklyn on Fairbanks is always a reliable choice in the Winter Park area for a pizza fix.
The service can be a bit slow at times, and there are some nearby pizza joints I'd place slightly above it, but no complaints otherwise. Lunch specials are an especially good deal. -

I dropped in to Brooklyn Pizza for the first time to pick up a take out order. I was super excited to try some "Brooklyn NY style" pizza. The staff was super friendly and accommodating (even offering us little cups of fresh parmesan cheese, oregano and crushed red peppers to go). The restaurant is quaint and casually intimate.
The pizza wasn't bad at all, but it didn't quite live up to my expectation. I was expecting NY style pizza and this just didn't really make the cut for me. Overall the pizza was good, it just wasn't the NY style pizza I was hoping for. The toppings were fresh. The sauce was a little sweet for my liking, but it wasn't over the top or offensive.
I would probably give them another shot and next time eat in, as the place was just so cute and inviting. -

Ordered some takeout here for the first time ever this evening. To keep this review short and sweet:
1. The pizza was quite good.
2. The wings were not so good. Not fried but not grilled. I think they may have been microwaved. The sauce was mediocre at best and it was drizzled over the wings as opposed to tossing them in the sauce.
Stick with the pizza. -

I have to take a star away today because the pizza did not live up to that first time they re-opened several weeks ago. Then, I said it was hands down the most authentic NY style pizza in town, with a very thin crust that had just the right level of crispiness and excellent flavor. Today, however, I had some pretty average pizza, so I am going to have to label this place as inconsistent...which is a damn shame considering how good it was last time. The crust did not hold up as well and it was greasy. It might be due to getting pepperoni today, so if you go here...stick with the cheese and you will probably be better off.
Updated again, gave it another chance and yet again it was average. With this inconsistency, I can't recommend this over Pizza Valdiano which is always good and not too far from this place. -

I ordered the pizza Brooklyn that they are famous for which has sausage pepperoni and some vegetables on it. I was a bit disappointed it was just okay...nothing spectacular. Additionally, I had an order of lasagna which again was just okay. Garlic rolls were disappointing they just tasted like regular rolls with garlic powder on them. Best thing was the side salad that came with the lasagna. The Italian dressing was good. Definitely not worth $42 and honestly would prefer Papa Johns to here henceforth.

Since I moved away from Brooklyn, I have searched for a place in O-town where I can grab a slice and find myself almost completely transported back to my old 'hood.
I have finally found that place - Brooklyn Pizza.
Like the best New York pizzerias, when you order a slice at Brooklyn Pizza they throw it into the oven for a few minutes until it is the perfect blend of crustiness, delicious cheese, and just the right amount of homemade sauce. Yesssssssss.
Brooklyn Pizza has a friendly staff, room to sit and eat, a huge menu with subs, pasta, pizza, calzones, salads and desserts. My favorite thing of all about Brooklyn Pizza? For only $4.99, you can grab two slices and a drink. Take me away, Brooklyn. -

Excellent, simple, NY style by the slice the way pizza should be! Really nice people running this place but the decor is also like a NY pizza stand, utilitarian but clean. Wish this was in my neighborhood in Seattle, would be a great success!

Good pizza, authentic NY style. You can't beat the lunch special - 2 large slices and a drink for $4.99. This place has very limited seating (only 6 tables) so get there early for lunch.

Review from Dan B.
Brooklyn Pizza has delicious pizza. It really does feel like Brooklyn style because of the crunchier crust but still retaining New York pizza qualities. Not a floppy slice like you'll find in Manhattan. Of course, the pizza here doesn't quite live up to the New York standard, but it certainly is better than most pizzas here. A good rival for this pizza would be Lazy Moon pizza. Other than that, it's definitely good and highly recommended. They deliver and have many locations throughout Orlando. The owner also owns Mario's Pizza in Orlando.

I'm always on a quest for excellent New York-style pizza, and this place does it pretty well. Cheap, too! Five bucks for two slices (oversized slices, mind you) and a drink is a steal. The motif and sitting areas are small and wholly unpretentious, just the way I like my pizza joints. Who cares if a place doesn't look hip? The food should be what matters, right?

Delicious! Everything about my food was so great! 4 stars only because it's not really a dine-in restaurant (kinda small) and it doesn't look very hip, but the pizza is the among the best I've had in Orlando.
