Review of Delivery from Brooklyn Pizza
Cheeseburger Meal - that was a basic burger with crinkle cut fries. It was nothing special. I doubt if I will order it again. There are better burgers for delivery.
Calzone with Mozzarella, Ricotta, Salami, and Pepperoni - this was a pretty good calzone. it was unique. i liked the crust. the ingredients seemed to be somewhat cubed with gave it a unique texture.
Delivery was prompt, professional, and polite. -

a pizza place that does NOT serve pizza.
hmmmm. let me think about this one.
so i ordered two greazy empanadas instead.
fried to order and not very tasty.
they should probably change the signage
to reflect anything but pizza.
take it from me .
skip the empanadaListed in: DO NOT GO HERE!

This is a review for delivery.
I wish i could give it something lower. They did not show up. After waiting 90 minutes, I called but no one picked up. Ridiculous. I will never try them again, and I hope this review saves others from waiting for something that will not show up. -

Never bothered delivering our order. http://Delivery.com had to reimburse us.
Terrible and unhelpful. -

A friend of mine ordered us a pizza from here via http://Delivery.com. After over an hour we tried calling and when we asked where our food was they hung up on us.
We called http://Delivery.com about it. They called the place and whoever answered lied and said that we told him we didn't want our food anymore, but that if we still really wanted it he'd make us a pizza. Over an hour later and they hadn't even started on our order?
http://Delivery.com was really great and canceled the order for us. We won't try again. -

Brooklyn Pizza has become our go-to delivery place for good, filling food both after work and on weekends. It's not the best or healthiest food, but it hits the spot. Even after raising the price from the original menu that was sent out, it is still surprisingly cheap. Delivery has been dependable so far.
Watch out for the deluxe "deals," it is often cheaper to get the items separate (minus the cole slaw) and they do accept credit cards for delivery, but they charge a little extra.
All in all...tasty food, just a little rough around the edges :) -

Put in an order, and they didn't even bother to call me and tell me they didn't have what I wanted. Waited for my food for an hour, and they hadn't even started on it. That's the last time I order food from anywhere without looking at the restaurant on yelp.

I just ordered some pizza from here on the recommendation of a friend! Luckily for him, this place is pretty good. The crust is nice and crisp, and the sauce was also good. The pizza was delivered pretty quickly, too, which is a plus. Too bad their credit card machine was down, though.
They've got some good coupons- the 3 topping medium + 2 sodas for ~$12 is a good deal. -
Review from Joseph N.
The pizza is nothing special, but it's not bad and the value is the selling point at Brooklyn Pizza.
I ordered a medium 3-topping plus 2 sodas for $13. Delivery was pretty fast (less than 30 minutes), I paid my $15 and it was on.
As someone else mentioned, the sauce here is great and they don't skimp on it. Unfortunately they also don't skimp on the cheese, which is not so great. The toppings (I got pepperoni, mushroom and sausage) are ok. I do like the crust, so if I order from here again I'll ask for light cheese and it should be a much better pie.
The only other late-night pizza delivery I know of is Mr. Pizza Man, which has awful pizza and takes like 2 hours. Brooklyn Pizza is a nice alternative; I'll be giving it another try. -

Came home one day with flyers posted everywhere on the mail boxes and just left the flyer on my kitchen counter.
Pan over to a week later after a disgustingly long floor set and being bombarded by customers yelling at me all day long wanting to use their coupons, cooking was the last thing I wanted to do once I got home. Called Brooklyn Pizza and got spaghetti and a cesar salad. Ok at best. Their noodles were kinda funky though. Cheaper than some of the other take out places.
+1 star for using halal meat so my friends can get sandwiches and burgers here after masjid -

This guy is the real deal. This litte pizza joint is tucked away in the shadiest of shady neighborhoods. It's just around the corner from the Warfield. But it is really worth checking out. I can't believe no one has reviewed it yet.
My first visit here and I discovered that their sauce is unique and flavorful. I won't say best sauce in the city.. but damn good nonetheless. The crust is a little thicker than what you might get out of a real brooklyn pizza joint, but the owner knows it. So if you ask the order-taker to make the pie a little thinner, they are happy to make that adjustment. Either way, delicious and cheap. -

Yet another ultra mediocre pizza, but I have to give them credit: at 11:30pm I told the guy he needed to make it a rush job and he had the pie at my shop in 15 minutes.

Tell them and the roaches to WASH THEIR HANDS and stop touching their hair and faces while dealing with people's food!!! The place is NOT good at all. Don't support disgusting restaurants! There are plenty of decent and good places to eat in SF, so don't subject yourself to the horrid of Crooklyn Pizza..... I hope this review has helped you. Safe eating everyone!

One of the handful of revolving pizza places in the tenderloin. $2.50 for a cheese slice. Not thin, it tasted good but it was nothing special. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in again as the service was friendly. For my quest though...

re: the pizza boxes smell like raid or some other bug spray and the pizza is just a little better then dominoes for you who like ny style don't bother as you wont like the crust.
Hakem A. : I am a california native however I used to fly out to ny to see my aunt in NY and the pizza served at the places she took me had different pizza than what you serve for starters the pies were so big each slice took both hands to eat unless you folded them and the crust was to die for.
but hey I am just 1 person my opinion doesn't count unless other reviewers are saying something similar right?1 Previous Review: Show all »

The pizza was mediocre at best, and this is coming from two hungry people. My boyfriend wanted some good old fashioned NY style pizza. Going off of the name, we took a chance with this place. I ordered a cheese pizza and wanted anchovies on just a couple slices (don't judge me, I was having a weird craving), but instead they put artichokes. The only good thing is that the delivery came in a timely manner, but otherwise I would not recommend this place considering how many other options are out there.

Strange-tasting but tasty nonetheless cheese steak with untoasted bread. I am sure I'll come back here, but it won't be for a cheese steak. This was bordering on two stars.
