The owner herself just validated the lack of professionalism of this salon by sending me this nice message.

"Hey twat face. What's a matter we were ignoring you. First of all I know you've never been here and secondly you're a douch bag, see I spoke to you. Do you feel comfortalbe now?????"

Really??You might want to consider dropping the attitude (we're not in Brooklyn) & learn how to accept criticism from customers. Instead of trying to resolve an issue about a customer who had a bad experience you respond by insulting them. So keep sending the nasty messages so your customers can see the real you!

Just got a haircut here this week. Paul did it. Paul is a pretty young guy, who is, *surprise* from Brooklyn (honestly I was surprised), and he was quite personable and friendly. He gave me some good times on fun things to do in Saratoga in the summertime... Nice smalltaker that guy.

I'm a guy, and I have straight, pretty boring hair. So cutting my hair is probably not the most complicated thing in the world. But then again, I know what I like and he got me looking good.

I like this place because it's not a mall salon or barber shop (the $10 or $12 cut), but it is also not a $35 cut (for guys?! crazy!) where they make you feel uncomfortable about not buying some $24 potion or goo. Guys haircuts are $15 and I think it's definitely better than some more expensive haircuts I've had in my life. All in all a good experience and a good value.

I finally decided to get hair extensions, I chose this salon and was serviced by one of the owners, Marianne. She was overconfident and loud. I assumed by her age she was experienced in hair care and especially extensions, which she bragged about being successful at. Seeing what she did to my hair, I now know that she is a money hungry, insincere unprofessional. My hair looked like a child's art project with extensions scotch taped at the end of my real hair. I was mortified and ended up pulling those hair pieces out that evening. I called Maryann and complained, I told her I would like my money back; she told me she would not give me my money back but she would offer me another service in its place. I would still have to pay for the hair extensions again. I told her I did not want another service as I already had an extremely dissatisfied one. Unfortunately I paid her in cash so I was unable to cancel my card or check. She had a very big Foul mouth about it, and she wreaked of alcohol. I will never never go back there!!! This post is just a warning to anyone who wants to go there DON'T go there, you have been warned. Maryann from Brooklyn Attitudes doesn't know hair!!!!!

Leslie gave me a 'Chi Enviro' smoothing treatment today, and I am amazed! I couldn't be happier with the results, and its just the beginning. I come back tomorrow for another treatment and a cut/style, and I'm sure the results will be likewise amazing!

Every time I walk in here for my monthly haircut appointment with Glen, I feel like I've been magically transported to a hair salon in the middle of Brooklyn, New York. The entire staff treats all their clients like family, and as it's a family that owns and operates this hair salon you can expect a lot of ridiculous family shenanigans while you are there.

I'd highly recommend you call to make an appointment, as they're constantly busy, and don't worry about leaving a message, as the staff promptly returns my call to setup my haircut appointment. Glen is always respectful if I ask for a change in my haircut, and enjoys giving me professional advice about how to style my hair and what products they recommend to maintain it.

I cannot speak to the other salon services they provide, as I only go in for haircuts. Otherwise, I'm truly grateful to owners Glen & MaryAnn at Brooklyn Attitude for establishing a friendly and professional hair salon in Saratoga, where the only attitude you get is gratitude. See you there!

THIS is my hair spot. It was touted by a co-worker, and I liked the cuts he got from his stylist (Paul) so I went in for a walk in cut. I wound up getting Glenn, and he is amazing with a cut. The cut is relaxed, it falls well, and holds well. I was able to squeeze 2 months out of the cut before it started getting shaggy. He keeps up a great patter. He's SO obviously from Brooklyn. The interchange between the three of then cracks me up. It's a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The price is right, and the cut is fantastic. They've been in the top 100 salons in the US several times and Glenn has worked with people like Nick Arrojo. They go to conferences and demos and are constantly trying to further their crafts.

They will be moving in Dec, down to the Prcie Chopper plaza on South rte 50. I will be following them.

I've been going to Glenn for haircuts for 15 years. He consistently is on point, time after time. (And I have a lopsided head!)

The atmosphere is comfortable and entertaining, after a while you feel "part of the family". Seriously. Great people, great haircuts.

Danielle gave me a great cut. She spent over an hour to get it perfect, while cheerfully chatting. The cut was exactly what I wanted, and the blow out exceeded any that I have had before. It was hairstylist love at first sight. She is tall, beautiful, stylish, and most of all, intelligent. I just hope she never leaves Saratoga! With a price tag of $45, I will be back.

I was in Saratoga Springs, NY for work and thought I would treat myself to highlights and a cut. I came across this place on Yelp and despite some of the earlier negative comments, I liked the vibe I got from the website and thought, why the heck not! I was able to get in with Danielle and she was awesome! So friendly and personable and I laughed many times listening to the rest of the staff cut up, all in their Brooklyn accents! I felt like I was in NYC, not upstate NY. My highlights turned out awesome and the cut was equally as impressive. Danielle did a great job of weaving in the blonde to lighten up my hair and when I'm in town again for work, I'll definitely hit her up. Thanks!!

I looked up hair Saratoga hair salons on Google and Brooklyn Attitude had reviews so I read them. They were all positive so even though I live 45 minutes away I was willing to drive for a good hair cut. My stylist was Glenn, the owner. He was very nice and clearly had skill that I could not find in the town I live in. The salon didn't seem busy, only he and his wife were working, however, I have seen one other employee there on another occasion. They said they are trying to hire more people but not many are qualified. I can see where they came up with their name.....they are certainly from Brooklyn. At times the accent and "attitude" kinda got to me. They didn't seem to be a very positive team...they always seem to have a complaint about something be it business, home life or other things. Wasn't really my cup of tea to listen to that while I got my hair cut. The place is pretty laid back...not as professional as other salons I've been to. But, the most important thing is they do give a great hair cut! I found it to be a bit pricey and it took an hour to get my hair cut and I have very short hair. Between my drive there and back, the price and the Brooklyn Attitude, I stopped going.
