Oh, Bronco Billy's.  So many great memories held in this place!  I've been eating here since middle school and the owner still remembers me when I go back!

The decor has changed since those middle school days.  They remodeled and although it does look cleaner, it just isn't the same!  I loved all the old pictures and whatnot adorning the walls.  It seems so plain now.  The building is old; there's no doubt about it.  But I just love the authenticity of the place.  It's just an old pizza joint!

The pizza is amazing here.  A tad bit greasy, but so so satisfying.  Plenty of cheese and toppings.  My mouth is watering thinking about it...

The pizza is good, and a nice option when you aren' t feeling Papa Johns or Dominos. Their Tostada pizza is really good, and unique. The only thing is you have to eat their pizzas right away because the crust gets super soggy, really fast.
Many people like the ambiance inside the restaurant, but I think it smells a little weird and feels dirty inside. I'm afraid a huge dust bunny will fall from all the old stuff on the walls, and would hate to be there by myself at night time.

WOW

The Pizza here is simply amazing!
We ordered the Chuck Wagon Delight a.k.a. . .combination... it's called  it is the first one on the menu.

I have not been here in at least a decade, but I do remember the western look they had before.... but now it is a bit plain inside.. however that does not take away from the pizza experience of the year.

The pizza here is quite  amazing... and the crust  has a little crunch in it and it was not dripping with grease like other places I have been.  Extremely fresh bell peppers and onions .. and I actually do not like bell peppers and onions on my pizza.. but this place had me wanting more.  Its really hard to explain pizza this good.  It just feels like this is what pizza is all about...  you know that feeling!

Great toppings and decent staff.  The staff wasn't exactly enthusiastic but it was slow when we went too..  definitely not rude people. . . but maybe bored since I would be too..given we were the only ones there initially.

I would knock a star off for the decor if I could.. but given I give them 10 stars for superb pizza quality.... I'm not sure it will make a difference.

I'm glad to see this place is still around....

I'll be back very soon

went again and ordered the Slice of Hawaiian pizza.  Its HUGE.  I mean HUGE....  I couldn't finish it in one siting.

Delicious!

I'm forever stuck with this joint. I've lived down the street all my life and this place is never a disappointment.

My family, when they run out of ideas of what to eat, get the x-large combination pizza, second to none.

Their slice is anything but. It's fricken huge.

And if you're kind of not feeling a pizza that day, go with the bronco burger. I used to have to collect change as a kid with my brother just to buy this massive monster of a burger that's on a roll w/ your choice of cheese & side.

I would come here everyday after middle school with my homies and get a kids meal with an RC Cola. But that was about 9 years ago oh man.

I miss the old Bronco's with the memorabilia and western antiques. It just looks so cold and plain now, not like back in the day when it was just only cold and dim, but still with that atmosphere.

They recently renovated the place, and it just looks totally plain. I know times have changed, and prices have gone up, but I remember when ranch used to be free, now they charge about $0.50 or $0.75 now for a side of it because everyone would ask for it.

AND DO NOT USE THE PEPPER FLAKE / PARMESAN SHAKERS!!!! Trust me.

Just get the individual packets that are on top of the counter.

& always plenty of parking in their private lot or on the street sidewalk.

Recommendations: Combination pizza, Bronco Burger, Spicy (Curly) Fries.

I like their pizza and I can walk there from my house in 10 minutes, but I'm not happy with the service particularly the guy at the beverage bar who watches TV more than paying attention to customers ... We were trying to get our drinks and he's acting like we were just a big bother.

But I guess if you can overlook that, the pizza and salad bar is good, plus the decor is a nice old-world style.

Bronco billys serve some really good pizza, it has a little crunch in it when you take a bite. the food is great, they serve it pretty fast. i didn't give them that extra star because i hate their decor, its too old and classic. Another thing, this place is haunted. i swear on everything.. search it up in google and you will know.

Union City - Bronco Billy's Pizzeria - In Old Alvarado section of Union City there is a pizzeria called Bronco Billy's pizza, it is a very old building built before Union City became a city, In the after hours it is said to be haunted , there are pictures of old cowboys from the area over a century old, the place is dark and gloomy, the reserved party room is heard to be the most supernatural activity. -google

I never returned there after i read about it being haunted. i would love to, but i rather not.  4 stars for their pizza

this place was the bomb shit growing up getting there kids meal that was  fit for an adult for $2.50 with unlimited soda refills. and soda i mean RC cola. one of the few places that even have RC. the place use to be cowboy memorabilia all over the place with pictures of native americans and private leather and wood booths. the place you to be hella tight. there was generations of carvings and writings all over the booths, i etched my name in there every single time. but now its OK, the kids pizzas are more personal sized with a 50 cent refills. all the booths were taken out and replaced with some normal all wood booths and it looks more of a taqueria now if you ask me, but it still ahs the memories.

the food is awesome. still the only place where ive seen artichoke on a pizza. great crust not to thick not to thin and a little on the crunchy side they dont skimp on toppings, they got all the pizza favorites like buffalo wings, spicy fries and s0me deli sandwiches.

bronco billys doesnt mess around with that gourmet pizza BS nor do they have an assmelby line of people making pizzas. each one is individually made. broncos has a banquet room where ive had many after little league dinners at. they also have a small arcade room with some classics like metal slug and some basketball game with some old shooters.

after a great pizza go to paddy's cafe a short walk away and dig some jazz, art,  great coffee

HIGHLIGHTS: RC cola, metal slug, the history, and of course the best pizza in the 510 IMO

this place would get 5 stars..... 5 years ago, but now its just 4

PS: DONT USE THE PARMESAN CHEESE IN THE SHAKERS!!!!!! MENACING MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL KIDS HAVE BEEN SPITTING IN THEM FOR YEARS!!!

Well considering where it's located down the street from my house it's a perfect location.  Amongst the ghettoness and red raggers all over this place the food is definitely well worth it.  When I mean ghetto it's not too bad and your not going to get shot so don't worry.  Granted this location has just renovated finally it looks much more presentable.  It's an old building what do you expect in one of the oldest parts of the city.

My personal favorite one here is the Chuckwagon special on their menu.  This has everything you can ask for in a meat type pizza.  Once in a while you can get a Medium pizza on Tuesdays for 6 bucks.  If your looking for something a little more sizable for yourself just get a slice which is pretty much a small pizza.  That slice is HUGE to be considered a slice.  If you've seen those movies with trailing cheese coming off the pizza this is it and just oozes of yummyness.  Their crust is a little on the thicker side but fresh and perfect with everything else on the pie.  I've eaten at this place numerous times and tried the other locations and have not been disappointed.

i love bronco billys. if you're looking for a small meal, get a kids meal. its really cheap. its about $2.50 for a personal pizza and a small drink. and like...an extra 50 cent for each topping i think. i usually get a kids meal with mushrooms, pineapple, and sausage. hellllllllllla good. their crust is the best. its always really fluffy, but crunchy at the same time.

if you are personalizing your pizza...try getting it with pesto sauce instead of marinara. and add chicken too. their pesto pizza is the beeeest. im so glad they got rid of all that crazy decor and tore up seats. definitely not a way to attract new customers. theres hardly ever anyone here....yet they've still managed to remain open for so long. i guess cuz their pizza is really good.

You can throw a saddle on my ass and ride me to Bronco Billy's any day of the week.  I'm surprised I haven't gained 50 pounds since I live so close to Bronco Billys.

I am a sucker for some good cheese and Bronco Billy's has some tasty cheesy pizza.  I like that it's maintained that feel of when pizza joints were places where you went and sat down to eat your freshly made pizza and had a few pitchers of beer.  They have some kick ass sandwiches there too.  My favorite is the linguica sandwhich.  You can even order custom slices that are freshly prepared and not sitting under a heat lamp like many other pizza places that shall remain nameless.

This location used to have an old saloon type feel to it with lots of old weathered wood floors and booths.  They have completely remodeled the place and in my opinion the location has lost a lot of it's flavor but fortunately for us the pizza itself hasn't.

Needed to pick up some pizza for a Lunch Meeting.  Looking for something quick and fast, and Bronco Billy's came to mind.

As several people have mentioned, Bronco Billy's is an old school pizza joint (and by Old School, I mean 80's style).  Place has a very rustic feel to it, like an old west saloon.

They have several pizza options to choose from here.  Everything from their Chuck Wagon, to Blazin Saddles, to the Chicken Coupe.  Prices here are what you expect to pay at a Round Table.  Looking at $11 for their small speciality up to $20 for the X large.  Also you can get some of your basic pizza option here too starting at $8 for a small 1 topping pizza.  They also offer sandwiches here too at around $5.

I put in an order for a medium Chuck Wagon and Pepperoni Pizza.  They guy told me it would be ready in 20 minutes.  Got there in about 20 minutes, pizza was ready.  Quality, I would put this ahead of a Round Table Pizza.  Nice crust, homemade sauce, and they are VERY GENEROUS with the toppings, which is always an added bonus.

In the end, ended up costing $23 for 2 pizzas.  A couple people from out of town commented that they wished they could get pizza this good from where they are from.  Overall, one of your better independent pizza places out there and they get a solid 4 stars.

really good pizza... i mean REALLY GOOD and delicious potato skin but the only downer is its in a ghetto side of town.. i wish they'd re-vamp the place i dont mind going there because the food is so good, but i dont like taking my family when theres grafiti all over the booths reading "sandra gives good head" "kelly is a whore" "alvarado norte" LOL im not exaggerating.. but thats the only downside to this whole in the wall pizza place

When you think of an old school pizza parlor, you think of this place. Arcade games, air hockey, cheesy mechanical-arm-dropping-prizes-through-the-shoot machines, and down-to-earth folks who know how to whip up a decent pizza pie. Though the graffiti-lined walls in the main room have been cleaned up, the banquet room next door still has some of that old flavor. And you gotta love the the stolen Dumbarton Bridge road sign lining the way to the bathroom! Extra star just for the genuine feel this place has!

Get the penny saver coupon people.. There is one super awesome coupon where you get a large pizza, wings, garlic bread and a 2-liter soda for 20 bucks!! This is a feast for more than two people!
I liked their food .. the value is certainly there!
I wasnt impressed with the ambience though in UNION city.. can you say g--g--g-ghetto..
I heard the Niles location is better.. in terms of ambience..
I would definitely try Billys again.. especially if i have that coupon in hand..
This place is clearly a favorite.. quite crowded.
Again... dont forget the Coupon!! ha ha!!

The pizza is really good. but it is ghetto since there are always people around. The pizza is great and taste better then all the pizza huts combined. there are good prices and fast service. I would reccomend this pizza place around in the east bay. I dont' see anything wrong with eating here. And yes they serve a lot of food for 2 people

I'm a huge fan of Bronco Billy's pizza. Although I'm not that big a pizza lover, when the craving does hit me, I head over to the Palace.

As someone mentioned, yes, buying one of their custom slices is probably your best bet. You can get a combination slice for about $6 and it can feed two people! Not bad, eh? I also like to buy their pizza when I'm hosting a girl's night at my place. It's the only way I can satisfy the appetite of  a group of gals while watching some classic chick flicks.

This Union City location has gone through some major renovations, which is why I recommend that folks go in and eat (but if you have to take-out, go ahead and do that too; the pizza will still be good). It's a lot cleaner-looking than it used to be. That's what makes munching on a dude ranch that much better!

I've been going there for 20 years. I was sort of disappointed when I found they'd taken all of their ornate decorations down, but the place is a bit brighter now. Their pizza is as good as always. I went there for lunch today and had the combo - personal pizza, salad, and drink - and was not let down. More than I can eat in one sitting. Just about the best pizza you can get on the west coast, but maybe I'm biased. :) Though, having known lots of people who worked there or used to go there, you'll find most of them agreeing with me.

My husband and I tried this place out for lunch, ordering just a plain cheese pizza and I couldn't believe how disgusting it was. The cheese tasted stale and had a bad aftertaste. The dough / crust was unbelieveably flavorless, and overall, I would say this is a terrible place to go for pizza.

We moved here from NY and know what real pizza is, and we really enjoy Amici's, Zachary's, and even Whole Foods pizza... but this... this was disgusting. We literally took one bite each, got up, left, and went to In and Out to try to salvage our lunch b/c we were starving. What a waste of money!

On top of it, they either have canned sodas, which is fine, or sodas from their bar fountain... this is how low quality the place is... the fountain brands were brands I've never heard of! I had the root beer, took one sip, and asked for another soda... which was equally disgusting. The place is dirty, the workers seem to not care about the quality of their product, and I am pretty sure that cheese on the pizza was rancid.

We will never ever return, and anytime anyone asks us where to go, we'll warn them of how putrid this place is.

I love Bronco Billy's! My brother & I usually call for take out & get SLICES. Trust me.. their slices are HUGE. They're inexpensive too! You can get a cheese slice for $3.25 & just add .50 cents for each topping thereafter.

I usually get a slice with mushrooms, olives, & sausage (with a side of ranch & pepper flakes). This runs me about $4.75, but it's so worth it since I can't even finish a slice in one sitting!

While you can get your own choice of toppings, they have specialty pizzas too.. (i.e. Hula Cownboy, Tostada Grande, Chuck Wagon Delight, & more). This place isn't just pizza either. They have sandwiches, wings, potato skins, chili dogs, salads, soups, & garlic bread. Haven't really tried them, but I liked their hot wings & fries.

The only thing about this place is that it's kinda dark & dingy inside. That's why I would rather have take-out. The booths have TONS of writing & carvings since it's clientele deals with a lot of kids (a middle school is only a block down). So if you're more into ambience, eat at home or somewhere else. ;P

Fun Fact: Their regular pizzas (Small, Med, Large) can be a little pricy, but if I'm not mistaken, they match prices with competitors. I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but try. If not, just go for a slice! ;D

I love their pizza, way better than any pizza chain around. Slices are really big. Thier resturant place though is in shambles; its an old building wich I believe hasnt been renovated. You may call that character. Alas, pizza is pretty darn good ~ i will take it to go anyways.
