This is the place my baseball team goes to eat after some baseball games.  I am not giving five stars because waiting to get the pizza is really really long.  But the pizza is good!  It is greasy but I like it that way.  I usually order a Hawaiian pizza but it's called something different on the menu.

There is a small game area; they have Metal Slug so that is good!

I had lunch here today before a meeting at Cal State Hayward.  I've always liked Bronco Billy's and was reminded of how good their pizza is today.  I had their lunch special for $6.50.  That included a large soft drink, a trip to the salad bar and a GIANT slice of pizza.  I had a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and olive pizza.  The crust was thin and crispy , had a lot of flavor and was cooked to perfection.  The slice was so bit that even I did'nt finish the whole slice.

The decor is a little cheezy with all those old western posters but still a cool place to hang out.

Good greasy pizza supreme. This is our local pizza haunt but we normally order a veggie pizza and it's good, not great but good. The pizza has been inconsistent over the years. It can be hit or miss. We recenlty had a need to be bad and ordered a combination that comes with every meat imaginable, bell pepper, onions,  mushrooms, olives and we added artichoke hearts (for color). Boy, did this take care of our craving. This was a pleasant surprise, with a crunchy crust and lots of toppings and cheese. If you're looking for a non-gourmet greasy pizza, this is the place.

It's best to order for take out. We've stopped here on the way home and thought we'd dine in, took one look at the dirty tables and decided to take it home instead. The service is average, nothing to write home about. The place has changed hands a couple of times that I know of. Maybe it's changed again because this pizza was far better than in the past - or maybe we just got lucky.

Pretty average pizza..  not a pizza you will be craving or wanting to come back for more...  they have a nice selection but, their pizza is greasy.  Not a bad place to hang out with friends...  they have a TV, Arcades, and a lot of tables.

If you are a pizza lover who is looking for that perfect looking and tasting pizza, this might not be the place for you...  if you are looking for a place to chill and have a quick bite, you have come to the right spot.

Pretty average, greasy pizza and food. I tend to scarf down one of their HUGE slices and maybe some greasy fries and then I feel a little sick.

They are friendly and fast, they deliver, the food is cheap and sometimes I feel the need for greasy goodness. That is why I will continue to eat here... and kick myself afterward.

This is our neighborhood pizza joint, so I wish I liked it more.  There's nothing wrong with their pizza or service, I just have a personal preference for different crust types... I love a New York or Chicago style pizza, and my husband likes the crispy thin crust.  Bronco Billy's is a sort of thick, doughy crust.

They are reasonably generous with the toppings, and the flavor is good.  They are community oriented and support local schools and sports teams.  I love that, and I support them for it.

I do recommend their individual slices for lunch or for dinner when you can't agree on toppings.  For $3.50 and up, they will custom make a "slice" for you, which is actually around 3 slices... almost as big as a small pie.  A really good bargain, and you won't go away hungry.

Wow... yeah...  pretty good pizza.

It looks like a typical Round Table pizza kinda thing, but much better.  Lately we have ordered stuff as bland as just plain cheese pizza, but...

I wanted to get a good tasting of this place so I ordered 2 mediums(yeah.. for 2 people.. and we don't eat that much)... one half-pesto/chicken, and the other half plain cheese, and the other one was a full Chuck Wagon.

Brought them home, doled out a piece of each type of the mild ones to the wife, and a piece of the chuck wagon for me...

They were ALL good... even the cheese was tasty.

So now I've found a mexican place, a brewery/pub kinda place, a burger place, and a pizza joint.  I know there are a couple other places that I need to try, but Hayward is turning out to be pretty good on the eats so far... go figure.

I remembered eating pizza from this place one time at a friend's house. I just remembered how greasy it was. This was several years ago and my standards of food weren't that high as long as it was free. LOL. I forgot what pizza we ordered. My recollection was that it had every meat product available and it was huge. I remembered the pizza box was slicked with grease and we'd order this whenever we hung out at his house at night. This was more for amusement than food we'd actually want to eat, but it was still fairly tasty.

Nestled high in the hills of Hayward is my one of my favorite pizza joints. Their sauce might not be tangiest, the crust the chewiest, nor the toppings the freshest but they do have the $3.99 lunch special which consists of all-you-can-drink soda and a gigantoid slice of one-topping pizza that's baked after you order.

Come during the baseball season and you can enjoy a couple of innings of the Giants or A's showing on one of their many TVs. Well, a couple of innings or the whole game depending on whether or not your boss is in the office.

Oh this brings back memories. I used to hang out here Monday nights after school. The place was always packed with regulars.
Love the pizza. Still miss it now that I've graduated and moved away.
Really recommend the pizza. Good times.

SMALL PIZZA?! Why get it when you can get a slice for about the same size as other 'small pizzas' everywhere else. MONDAY NIGHTS is the spot. Greek life of Cal State East Bay you have to love it. Seriously. Their pizza is DELISH and they have a couple of cute guys that work there too :) I would recommend the PESTO CHICKEN pizza or just the BBQ Chicken. I love going there, its so close and they are open till 10 during the week. Sometimes when they are super busy the wait is a pain, but its all worth it in the end. I will travel MILES to come.

Favorite hang out in high school in the Hayward area!!!!!   This and Val's are two local Haystack spots that we can call our own.   I always get the Chuck Wagon pizza which is filled a whole bunch of meat and cheese.  Expect to be filled up if you order one of these guys.  Totally for meatlovers but may be greasy for some but when you order the Chuck Wagon, you gotta expect that.

I can't believe this place has gotten such great reviews.  I can verify that it is a Cal State East Bay (or Cal State 'Hayward' for the alums) favorite as all of my students go there for a beer after concerts (remember, I teach at CSUEB).  When I lived at Sunhill, I frequented this place a lot with my wife and two children.  The pizza is so un-tasty.

Yea, I said un-tasty.

Maybe I could call it 'gross', or 'terrible', but really un-tasty seems to adequately describe it.  Tasty would be a pizza that had a good balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings served on a decent crust (it'd be hot too).  Un-tasty is the opposite of all of this.  The sauce is superbly mediocre, the cheese is sometimes heaped, sometimes non-existent, and the toppings remind me of my child's play kitchen toys - plastic, cold, and unless you are engaging in imaginary play with a three-year-old, boring.  I give it two stars because it isn't totally unacceptable.  The ambience is decent enough.  The price range is a bit high (about $3 over priced).  Parking is easy.  The biggest thing this place has going for it: location, location, location.  There is jack on Mission (also, no one wants to go down the hill).  There is no competition near Bronco Billy's except CSUEB food service (which isn't exactly the best).  So, when you've got no other choices, the only choice is the best, I guess.

Wow!  For a pizza chain, that was definitely the best pizza I've ever had.  I ordered a medium of the Chuck Wagon today and loved it.  It was STACKED with toppings.  They definitely do not skimp on toppings.  The sausage was very good.  The onion slices were actually real onions instead of the dized frozen stuff.  The pepperoni was nice and spicy.  I'm definitely ordering from this place whenever we want pizza.
