In PB and MB where there is a lot of great breakfast places there is no reason to go here. Here is why:
-Pancakes are really bad. Has the taste of Corn starch
-Unattentive service. Not rude or mean but they just don't care. Saw our waiter only once after order was place
-Smallest booths ever. We had three in our party and we felt crammed.
-Food was just blah average and the prices were high in comparison to other places nearby. The portions are sometimes big so I guess that is why this place is well attended but I prefer quality over quantity.
Seriously don't bother coming here go to Mission Cafe or Olive Cafe for a much better experience and better food. -

The service here was great. There was just nothing special about the food. It was good breakfast food and there is a big selection of omelets and such. But there were a few things that just were lacking.
The omelets we got at our table were all inconsistent. Mine with the Chorizo had a huge dollop of meat on one side and not much else on the other. Just dry egg. Its that simple stuff that make or break an omelet.
The other 2 people I was with had a simliar situation. Skimping on toppings and being sloppy is not good.
The major issue I had was that the eggs were just overcooked. A tough omelet is not something I expect from a breakfast specialty place. -
Review from Robert F.
If there were more options for a weekend breakfast, nobody would wait to eat here. It is truly mediocre in every way. They have a large menu, but it lacks quality from top to bottom. The only gimmick that draws me here is the Ironman, which I have tried and failed. I can put back a ton of food, and I gave this a whirl on a hungover morning. But it just really isn't good...smothered in chili and biscuits that could choke a horse. I have friends on the wall of fame, but I am afraid I won't return, so it doesn't matter anyway.

I saw this place on Man vs Food and dropped in for breakfast. There was no line when I got there. The server was great, matter of fact we had a long chat about football (she was a Steelers fan too and told me that #43 had just been in recently)!
I had an California omelette with fruit and a biscuit. The biscuit was huge and delicious, perfect! The omelette was pretty good but for the price I expected bigger.
The 12 egg omelette challenge got my attention so I plan on returning to attempt that sucker one of these days! -

The place isn't bad but not amazing either. My husband got the biskets and gravy. Biskets are very good but the gravy not so much. I got two eggs with bacon. I asked for my eggs over easy it was over cooked. Hashbrowns are not that great either. We did however get the $13 Mimosa everyone was talk about and it was awesome to share a hole bottle of champain and oj! To me its like dennys with a lot of omlet options. Not sure we will go back but yet glad we checked it out.

Didn't taste that bad but there were quite a few problems. I got the Western Benedict and had a choice of home fries, hash browns, beans or fresh fruit I believe. I got the hash browns and they were definitely undercooked.. I hate undercooked potatoes. The English Muffin that came with the eggs benedict was not good. I don't know why, it was the taste and the texture. Finally, there was part of an egg shell in one of the eggs benedict. Probably wouldn't come back here again.

I've gone to both PB and Downtown locations. One of my best friend's and her husband decided to try this place out after learning about this restaurant on the TV show Man vs. Food. They invited me to join them. Since I have been here before and had a better experience, I thought it would be the same. My experience at this PB location was somewhat disappointing this time around. I realize this place gets busy, especially with larger groups. But it should not justify the servers bypassing our table many times without asking everyone what we would like to drink. I am not complaining or do not want to give this place a bad review, but there was definitely a lack of communication and service. After waiting for what it seemed like a very long time, we finally placed our order. It also took awhile to get our bill at the end of our brunch.
I ordered the S.B.A. (Spinach, Bacon Asparagus) and cheddar cheese Omelet. It was very tasty. My friend ordered one of their omelets, but I don't remember...sorry! It could have been the No Name Omelet. I remember there was avocado inside. She said that something mixed in her omelet did not mesh well. After so many bites, her omelet started to not be as appetizing. I asked if she wanted to return it for something else, but decided not to bother.
Although parking is tough at both locations. I prefer the Downtown location over the PB location due to the cleanliness and better service. -

Since this was featured in Man vs. Food on the Food Network, I had expected more patrons but there was no wait when we got there. In fact, the place was pretty empty.
Our server was extremely friendly and checked-in on us without being annoying or intrusive.
I had the yogurt parfait (delish!) with fruit and the blueberry muffin. The muffin was airy and more "cake" than "muffin" and too much on the sweet side. BUT it had the just-baked warmness. Also, the assortment of fruit was arranged artistically which added plus points in my book. -

So... The wait was 20min which was expected. Then we got sat with No menus. Party of 6, but we only got 3 waters at first. Had to ask for another 3 glasses of waters. Finally had our server take our menus and was very nice. Another 20 min is currently going by and it seems that every group that had been sat after us have their foods served already!? This is getting kinda ridiculous. And I'm looking around and I notice that we are the only non-caucasian group.. Just asked our server for an eta of our food. And she told us Another 15 min. WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR 45 MIN NOW!
SERVICE SUCKS. DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE FOOD, BECAUSE WE STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN OURS. -

Oh the disappointment!!!
This cafe for being well known was such a huge disappointment. I had a simple steak and eggs with dry toast that was not only burnt but slapped with butter. The steak was a mystery meat that had no taste and the eggs were bland as well. Service was okay but the food let me unfulfilled. -

UPDATE
Better service at every other location. The turtle faced hostess has got to be the managers daughter if she still holds a position there. She's horrible! So unfriendly and doesn't know how to take or give a to-go order. The place is completely dirty and run down now. I saw a waiter drinking his waiter as I waited for mine. What kind of crap is that? The last time my boyfriend and I went, we basically waited on ourselves which is ridiculous. We're normally good tippers... Which is why we even gave her $3.
I'm just gonna stop. Seriously save yourself some time. There are much better hidden gems in PB. So over this hyped cafe.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Love getting lunch in this little hoppin' joint in the Pacific Beach area. Mimosas and crazy omelets up for grabs. They've got a bit of everything and that's why I love it. Afterwards, you can get in some surfing. Just be sure to wait an hour after eating or your mom will get mad at you.

I don't understand the hype. This place always has a huge ass line and the food is just ok. They do have regular hashbrowns instead of home fries, which I appreciate, and give them an extra star. But the rest? You have to try pretty hard to eff up breakfast and sometimes they do (underseaoned, underwhelmed, overcooked eggs, etc). And this place wins awards! Whatever.
Their staff is usually pretty quick and polite, so they also get an extra star for that. One time the waitress misheard me when I ordered and brought out the wrong thing. After she walked away, I apparently made a pretty sad/droopy/disgusted face and she came running back and said in a genuine tone, "what's wrong?!". I started laughing because I certainly didn't intend for her to see my face. She was apologetic and brought out the right food in a pretty timely manner.
We go here because it's convenient and fairly fast (if you get here early), but don't go here expecting the best breakfast ever. -

3.5 STARS
I've come here many times over the years and Broken Yolk is a good breakfast spot. It can get crowded and I've seen long lines outside. Personally, I don't think it's worth waiting in a huge line so I come here when it's not crazy. My standard order is the Western Benedict with sliced turkey & avocado. YUM!!! I also like the Jack of Hearts Omelet with artichoke hearts, bacon & jack cheese. The omelets are big and you can choose between hash browns, home fries or fresh fruit, which is mostly fresh melon & an orange slice. There are also plenty of eggs, pancakes, waffles, french toast, Mexican dishes, sandwiches & burgers to choose from.
I always get great service here and the waitresses are very friendly. They have plenty of bussers to keep the coffee full & pick up dirty plates.
It's a fun place to come with a big group and chill up on the patio. There was one occasion where my friend got cold food and then they brought her a second plate that was also cold. This friend often has bad luck in restaurants so maybe it was just her? For me, that was an anomaly since I've been here dozens of other times and enjoyed the food. $2.39 for a cup of coffee seems like a bit much... They do keep my cup full, but can coffee really cost that much? Also the fresh squeezed juice is a bit pricy as well...
They have a few different parking lots in the alley, so I've never had a problem with parking. Just head back to the alley and make sure that they lot is labeled for The Broken Yolk.
Is this my favorite breakfast in San Diego? No. Is it a good San Diego experience? Sure, most of the time. Would I stand in line out front for more than 10 minutes? No, probably not. They do have take-out and my man & I will occasionally do that on the weekends to avoid the long lines and let me stay in my PJs.
There are a bunch of coupons out there, so be sure to get a BOGO 50% off to save a few bucks. -

I don't even know where to start with this ridiculous breakfast experience. My husband and I had childcare for the week so we were enjoying some much needed quality time. When it comes from getting a meal out sans kids we are not picky. If you just pay some attention and refill my water glass I'm pretty easy to get 4 stars out of. This was just horrendous. To start, we were sat at a table right next to the beverage service area (this is not a complaint) so we are pretty much in the center of the joint and hard to miss. Problem #1: It probably took 15 minutes from the time we were sat for us to get water to our table. Hello, how could you miss us when you had to walk past us several hundred times getting drinks for everyone else???? Problem #2: The water glasses were so gross. There were lip marks rimming both of our glasses. I know they went through the dishwasher so they were sterilized but it was still gross and since it was both glasses I was willing to be that most if not all glasses has the same issue so rather than send them back we just asked for straws and didn't drink much. Problem #3: We waited another 10 minutes for someone, anyone, to come take our order. Right when we were going to get up and walk out I was able to make eye contact with someone who came over to take our order. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was just OK. I ordered the waffles with strawberries which seemed to be a really weird texture and my husband got the eggs Benedict. He would eat a shoe covered in ketsup but he didn't complain about his food. Problem #4: The western omelet which we ordered to share. When I cut it in half I was very disappointed to find my omelet was eggs, tomatoes and cheese. My husbands half had potatoes on one side and green peppers and bacon on the other. Is it really that difficult to mix the omelet ingredients before or after putting them in the pan? Problem #5: The restroom was so gross. I've been to nicer outhouses than this. To top it all off they do that cheap thing of watering down the soap rather than refill it which is really annoying because not only am I in your dirty restroom but now I feel like I can't get my hands clean because of the soapy water that you are trying to pass off a soap. Problem #6: Trying to leave. It took another 20 minutes after we were finished with our breakfast to get someone over to give us the check.
You know it's bad when half way through our breakfast my non-picky would eat anything husband looks at me and says, "I would rather be at Ihop right now" and I completely agree. We won't be back, big disappointment. -

I originally heard about this restaurant on the Travel Channel as a place you must dine at in San Diego. As a newbie to San Diego, I finally made it and took friends that were visiting from Latvia. I was very impressed...
The portions are "American Sized" and the price was right on in my book; you will not leave here hungry - I mean the size of a biscuit is a bit larger than a softball!
The location had good parking just to the side of the establishment, the staff was friendly and the food was so yummy. -

I began my second day in San Diego jogging around beautiful La Jolla. Even with the overcast weather and with an awesome view of the seaside, it's still a beautiful run.
After my run, I build up an enormous appetite and check out, plus checked-in this little breakfast joint not far from the famous seashore.
From the huge menu, I ordered the "Pay you on Tuesday" Omelet. For $9.99, the omelet comprised of ground beef, tomatoes, onions and American cheese. The ground beef had a lack of flavor and didn't taste too exciting, even with steamed corn tortillas in which I made a breakfast taco out of the egg dish.
The side of mashed potato looks unappealing too.
I'm not sure if Popeye's buddy- Wimpy would enjoy this omelet, even on a Tuesday.
My coffee was a bit too bitter too. I didn't even bother to finish half of the mug.
It was a good thing the café accepts credit cards. In which, I can pay my lousy bill, not on Tuesday (like Wimpy always say), but the end of the month.Listed in: San Diego from a San Francisco…

Finally after much waiting and anticipation I made my way down to the Broken Yolk for some brunching. Considering the fact that it was Veterans Day and they appeared busy, we were seated immediately. Very quick service, upon sitting we were offered coffee and our menus were given to us. Excellent customer service!!!
I opted to have the eggs benedict and my lumberjack BF had the rancher omelette. The food itself was nothing special, typical diner food. To be honest it felt overly greasy. The home fries weren't so hot, and they were probably my biggest disappointment. No seasoning, no taste. They added nothing to my meal. The eggs benedict were fine, I find it really hard to mess these up. The rancher omelette had no cheese and it was mostly bacon, if you're a huge bacon fan then OINK OINK! This might be the omelette for you. As prompt as they were with the coffee it wasn't great, pretty weak and watered down, but the refills kept coming.
I'd advise to avoid the gravy, I had a side of it thinking it would complement my home fries... except it ended tasting like paste. Left the whole thing behind. I really don't know if I'd come back. The food was OK, but I'd rather go to the Hash House. Food's fresher and it's just plain delish. -
Review from Denise T.
I went here with my boyfriend for breakfast on a weekday and there was no line and parking was easy to find, right in front of the restaurant. I loved it. We were promptly seated and surprisingly, the place wasn't as filled/crowded as we thought it would be. I ordered the Californian burrito, which came with rice and refried beans. It was really good and HUGE so I was only able to finish half and took the rest home. My boyfriend ordered the Western eggs benedict, which came out to be ginormous too. The hollandaise sauce was perfect. I had a bite of it and I wanted more. I'm going for the eggs benedict the next time I go here.
Although I really liked Broken Yolk, nothing really set it apart from any other breakfast place except for the 12dozen egg-omelette challenge. The ambience and decor looked a bit outdated and the food was good but nothing really stood out and wowed me over.Listed in: My San Diego Favorites

While in San Diego for the NASPA Regional Conference, Virginia and I stopped by the Broken Yolk Cafe for some brunch. This was a place on Man vs Food and has a massive egg challenge, not something I was going to try two hours before winning an award but maybe next time. Instead I came in to try some Mexican breakfast food since it is a staple in San Diego. From the outside the Broken Yolk looked like a standard diner and sort of small but wow was I wrong. It was actually really modern looking with some nice flat screen televisions and it went back far enough to seat a decent number of people. I ordered a coffee and some fresh squeezed grapefruit juice (hoping that it was a decent amount of juice for cost) and perused the menu. After a few reads I was torn between a few options so in regular fashion I asked my server for his breakfast recommendations. He rattled off a few options but told me that by far his favorite was the chilaquiles. I went with his recommendation and ordered them with the red sauce (I am not really a fan of green sauce, I don't know why but I am slowly realizing that I have a distaste for anything "chile verde").
The juice and coffee came out and I was instantly pleased. Why you ask? Because the grapefruit juice was actually served in an adult sized glass. It is really annoying to spend 4-6 dollars on juice and get the same or less in actually ounces. Here I got probably twelve ounces of juice for 5 bucks which is enough to get me through the whole meal. Other breakfast places can take notes from this, please save your child size glasses for children and serve me enough juice for more than one gulp!
After a short wait my chilaquiles arrived in all their glory. So what are chilaquiles? Well, you start with crispy fried quartered tortillas and top them with sauce (As previously discussed, I chose red). Next you cover them with melted cheese and sour cream. For breakfast eggs can be added and I opted for my over medium fried and it all goes on a plate next to some refried beans. How can you go wrong with that! Well, I imagine you can but this place definitely did not.
Everything about this dish made me happy. The tortillas were crispy on the outside of the plate but soaked in sauce on the inside. The cheese was melted perfectly and the red sauce was tangy and spicy. I great wake up call after the early morning and the two hour drive in traffic, though the constant refiling of my rarely consumed coffee by out attentive waiter probably influenced this comment a bit. And oh the eggs. For those of you who have read other posts I am very critical of my eggs, probably more so than my steak and burgers. Not sure why but it is what it is. When I say over medium it means that the yolk should still run but it should be viscous like molasses and these eggs were just that. When I cut it the yolk coated the knife and fork and did the same for the tortillas. They added the unctuousness the dish sorely needed as eggs are supposed to do. Mixed into the tortilla side of the plate they made this dish something I would come back to again and again.
While the beans were pretty much a throwaway, I was really happy with this recommendation and told the waiter just that. It is always nice to go to a restaurant where the wait staff take pride in the food and can really guide you towards good choices. I am always a little nervous when I go to a MvF place and try something he didn't eat but the Broken Yolk Cafe did not disappoint. Next time you are in San Diego check it out they serve tons of omelets as well and don't forget, adult sized fruit juices!

Review from Mike C.
Surprisingly the customer service here was pretty good, despite the long line and it seemed like a busy random Saturday morning.
They were very accommodating to get side-by-side tables for a party of 8. And with kids in the party, they made our special requests to the best of their ability. They even made the kids' pancakes look like Mickey Mouse too.
And as for the food, there is plenty of it. I chose the $5.99 special. You get 2 eggs, 2 pancakes or 2 french toast and 2 bacon or sausage. I think this would be the best bet and value for the dollar. There is plenty of food for only 6 bucks. The french toast alone is probably 6 bucks. Big slices with strawberry all over. http://www.yelp.com/bi... stuff.
I did order my eggs over easy, but received it over medium but I guess the french toast helped compensate for the overcooked eggs. http://www.yelp.com/bi... Still some good eggs though.
The customer service alone definitely made this a sold 3.5 star experience. -

I love breakfast food! Of course I have to enjoy their omelets on my visit to SD! I've been to the one in downtown SD and this one was pretty much the same.
I got the rancher omelet and it was delicious! I like how the veggies were fresh and made everything so light and tasty. I got fresh fruit and english muffin to complete my meal. It's a pretty big size meal and I only finished half of my omelet.
Their orange juice is also fresh and not the cheap kind like other places. A saw a lot of people enjoying mimosas! Maybe I should try that next time. I think someone was also doing the challenge because I saw a BIG plate with HUGE biscuits and I wondered if he ended up beating that challenge... -

Yet another Man v Food destination that lives up to Adam Richman's praise. Maybe I had some better luck with my selections, but I can confidently say that the food is well above your typical mediocre diner fare. I ordered scrambled eggs (fluffy and buttery), bacon (nice and crisp) and a short stack of pancakes (on the chewier side, but ginormous).
Our waitress was delightful - so full of energy and she really made our breakfast a most enjoyable one. She checked in regularly and there was never a shortage of water or coffee. Might I also add that if you get here early between 6 and 8 am, they have a number of specials that are nearly half off the regular price - my aforementioned meal was only $5! As for the interior, it's cozy, inviting and clean. What more could you ask for to kick off a fun-filled day? -

I think I've been a PB resident for so long now that it should be considered a crime to not have tried Broken Yolk. However, I think many places that are hyped up so much from shows like Man v. Food just don't live up to the name. Don't get me wrong; Phil's BBQ is amazing, and some of the places Adam Richman went to in Alaska are just beyond amazing. However, Broken Yolk is just your average breakfast joint, but with more options.
The only breakfast item that looked appealing to me was the Stroganoff Omelet, which comprised of ground beef, jack cheese, sour cream, and mushroom sauce. I'm not a big fan of omelets, unless they're smothered in cheese, which is exactly what they did here. The whole combination tasted great, and I even had enough for leftovers. Lots of mushroom sauce on top and a whole lot of cheese that blended very well with the meat. However, it was just breakfast, and nothing too exciting that would warrant it a higher review. Everything my friends got didn't seem appetizing at all, so I didn't bother trying.
The service here was great, considering it was a busy Sunday morning. We had a very attentive waitress who always refilled our water and made sure everything was good, on top of handling 10 other tables. -
Review from Dean P.
I was here a few weeks back and was with my daughter. I thought that due to the line out the door each weekend this place would be great...
Bottom line, poor service, bland taste and not following request. Is "over medium" so hard? Is "extra crispy hash browns" that difficult? Is keeping my iced tea glass filled that tough? Simple things... -
Review from Wayne N.
It beats i-hop thats for sure. With a name like that I had to try an omelet.
Service was pretty fast for a place that was hopping for brunch. I got a border check, huge omelet with chorizo and jalepenos (for the TX kick). It was alright, pretty good, filling but nothing to really brag about. My homefries were disappointing as they weren't true diner style homefries.
I was however, really impressed with the biscuit. Giant, fluffy and soft. I savored every bite of that.
Would come again for brunch and try something else besides the omelet. They had a lot of enticing things. -

Ive heard so many good things about broken yolk cafe, it disappoints me to have to give them a bad review. The price to dine here expensive when compared to denny's or ihop. The food here was mediocre at best reminded me of ihop. Waiting in line makes this please not a good place to eat in my opinion. You could spend a few bucks more and eat at better place like hash house. Skip the pacific beach crowd and get better food elsewhere. On another bite their chocolate chip pancakes are pretty tasty.

3.5 stars!
The famous Broken Yolk Cafe. Feeding San Diegans of any age, race, color or creed... and me on a Saturday morning at around 10. Parking across the street at the grocery store is a no-no but we did it anyway. Walked in, up to the host stand and were sat right away. I had the spinach, bacon, artichoke omelet with egg whites with wheat toast and a side of fruit. It was pretty good, the bacon however was a bit bacon bit-y, which didn't really seem to fit, they pile that bread on way too high (it looks like you're compensating, Broken Yolk) but the fruit was nice. They gave me one huge slice piece of every fruit; it was fresh and a decent portion.
It was a pleasant family friendly environment, which matched the homey breakfast food. There are really people of every age here.
Service wasn't bad - we got everything we needed and in decent time with a smile, so pretty much flawless. But there was something missing - really solid place for breakfast/brunch and maybe beyond, but it's just a relaxed restaurant with food that doesn't quite wow. -

My boyfriend and I have been here twice, the first time was excellen and made us come back again but on the second visit, I didn't want to return.
The first time we came here, we were seated promptly, our waiter was nice, the food was great and I would have given it 5 stars just for that. But the second time I came I was pretty disappointed.
There wasn't much of a wait for a Friday morning, which I was happy about. Maybe, 3 minutes after ordering our food I changed my mind and wanted pancakes instead of french toast. No biggie, I thought, I've done it before. But then a few minutes after I asked for a change in my order, I remembered they had some seasonal pancakes, and I asked if I could get those instead. I was replyed with a snotty look and, "Are you serious?" Why would I ask for an order change as a joke? If I changed my mind maybe 5 times or so, or maybe if they had already started cooking my food (which she informed me they hadn't), then I can understand a little attitude.
I can eat some of the worse food at a restaurant, but still go back for their good customer service, and on the other end, if a place has excellent food (like I think Broken Yolk does) but poor customer service.. Then I see no reason in returning. -
Review from Rebeca R.
Not amazing, not terrible.
Enchiladas were blah, omlet was not great, didn't serve bloody mary's. Service was slooooow. But, the rooftop is nice, if cramped. And my friends who are locals seem to like this place a lot. Maybe we just got the wrong things from the menu? Portions are huge, very big menu, lots of tiny parking lots behind the building. Almost everyone had a botle of bubblie and a carafe of OJ and the bus-boys were on top of it - we had water and menus immediately, then waited forever to order & forever to get served. Good thing I wasn't in a hurry.
I never need to go here again, but it got the job done. -

Eh...
So, everyone I know who has eaten here has had nothing but awesome things to say. So of course, being that I LOVE food and awesome places to eat, I ate here.
I was not impressed. Breakfast is my favorite meal, and this was just bland and boring. The food was not very flavorful and it kind of made my tummy upset. It's funny that every review I have read has said that the "California Burrito" is the only really good thing on the menu because... that is what I had... I was not impressed. Super tasteless...
The silverware on the table did not appear to be clean and the service was super slow. This was on a weekday and there weren't very many people in the restaurant. I'm actually the most patient person I know when it comes to the speed of service at a restaurant, so if I am complaining, something is up.
I'm sure there is something to the hype of this place, otherwise, I don't understand how the consensus can be that this place is so great. However, due to my experience, there was no glimmer of hope that it could be anything above mediocre. I probably won't be going back of my own volition. Possibly if a group decides that is where they want to meet. However, I will choose another establishment or cook myself if I want to experience a tasty and excellent breakfast. -

Came at around 8 on a Sat, no line, found parking right in front on the street. Guess everyones still sleeping.
Ordered:
Rancher omelet frittata style, fresh fruit and a biscuit with OJ
Polish omelet, hash browns, blueberry muffin, and a side of pancakes.
Oj was good, nice tall glass, tasted fresh.
Rancher omelet was good and had a star next to it noting one of their favorite or most often order dishes. It lived up to its hype, i was also impressed that the fresh fruit was fresh cut and NOT pre mixed in a bowl. I hate it when they mix all the fruits together and they all taste like each other. (Cantaloupe, watermelon, orange and pineapple)
Biscuit was okay, big and hot, but could be lighter and flakier.
Polish omelet was kind of so so, it just didn't have any wow to it. Then again it didn't have a star next to it. I guess stick with what works.. Just order stuff that is recommended. Hash browns were pretty good, not the deep fried frozen preformed square patty, but the shaved cooked on the grill top kind.
Pancakes were below standard, I-hop was better. These were just too dry.
Over all it's an ok place, almost everything is just under $10. -

I thought the Broken Yolk was a little below average compared to other breakfast places I've been to. First off, the menus were soooo sticky & nasty. I didn't even want to touch it! And the customer service was horrible. It took 10-15 minutes just to take our order, then another 15-20 minutes until we received our food. We also had to ask for our drinks twice.
I ordered the chicken fried steak, with side of corn beef hash. Portions were huge & everything was fine until I found a hair in my food! -

Meh. I know, I know: It's a landmark. It's a PB staple. The portions are huge. Blah blah blah. you'll get a pretty standard breakfast here (although big portions) but I found the food to be fairly bland. I prefer "The Menu" on Ingraham. It's more of a dive, but I like the food better.
