Brocato's Studio of Hair
1 review for Brocato's Studio of Hair
While you can usually get an appointment within a few days, this place is a little eccentric at times. The "animal" theme with the tree inside makes me feel like I'm at Disney and that the place should reserve for children's haircuts.
The woman who cuts my hair (no names) is very friendly but I'm not sure that her style meshes with mine. I've "shopped around" a bit from hairdresser to hairdresser and have found that the majority of them are "edgy" and have unusual haircuts or colors. While this might be cool, it doesn't necessarily translate into a normal haircut that the vast majority of people are looking for. Don't get me wrong, I've never left crying (thank god), but at times I feel my haircut is a little more "modern" than I asked for. Plus a haircut can run you $75 and for that price I think I'm going to look for a place that is a little closer to my style. I've hear great things about a place in Fed Hill- I'll let you know when I get there.
While it seems as if I don't like this place, I do. The service is good, it's not hard to get in, and my hairdresser always gives me tips on how to make my hair/ hair color/ etc... better. It is also within walking distance from my house and call me crazy but that matters to me. For those of you who have to drive, there is plenty of parking right in front. I like that- she is not afraid to share tips or secrets and that is something that can be hard to find. The salon has other services too, I just have not used them at this point.
