Review from Nathaniel L.

Located in the scenic countryside of Virginia, Bristow Manor is a well kept course for the golfer who can keep it straight off the tee box. The fairways are fairly tight often with cart paths winding their way around trees. It's not uncommon to have a clear shot, tee off, and then have a cart come around the corner! Hit it straight and you'll be rewarded. As a novice golfer I found this course challenging and enjoyable. On the particular day I was golfing there we could have used a marshall. Play was backed up and it soured the experience slightly. However, it is worth the drive and I will return...some time.
...After a couple months away I returned to Bristow Manor today, the first day of fall. I immediately remembered why I like this course so much. The fairways are nice, the greens are nice, and the course is challenging. (I also must be getting better because I found more balls than I lost) The round was very enjoyable and any complaints about not seeing a marshall on the course are void because we saw him twice on the front nine. I give this course a full 4 stars. -

Overall, I had a good experience at Bristow Manor. The course was in good shape with the recent heat that hurt the US Open. I am not a big fan of the layout but staff and experience were good.
