Roc airport doesn't have the biggest selection of cafes, so I have visited Brioche Doree a fair number of times, usually for breakfast. I have tried breakfast sandwiches, chais, tea, coffee, soups, and some of their baked goods. Everything is fine - nothing amazing. They packed the soup to go in a cup that I was able to take & successfully eat on the plane without spilling it on myself.
Basically it's fine for airport food. Don't recommend it if you have other choices (but you don't bc you're in the airport!).
They also can be unfortunately slow (depends on who is working).
I would give it 2.5 stars if I could.
I am an avid soy chai latte drinker and I would say that the Euro Cafe/Hudson News stand as you enter Terminal B on the left side serves better chai lattes than this place.
I am sure I will be back.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Dyanna C.Manhattan, NY225637Jul 21, 2014
I've been here about 5-6x now and each time, the customer service is great.
Their coffee is pretty good, and croissant sandwiches were tasty.
I was a little disappointed in my last visit there though, when I ordered the basil tomato soup and a harvest salad. The soup was bland and scorching hot. My tongue was pretty badly burned. The harvest salad was good, however the only two available dressings were raspberry vinaigrette and Cesar. The salad was simple; greens, walnuts, cranberries, blue cheese and cranberries - healthy and fresh.
In all, this is a solid place to get some food at ROC.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Heidi T.Webster, NY122Nov 9, 2013
While waiting to board a flight, I noticed a new option for food at the ROC airport. I was pleasantly surprised - what a great addition.
Funny, but I tried the same thing as the previous reviewer - the multi-grain croissant. It was very tasty and the coffee as well - a medium light roast, if I remember correctly. There were a lot of options for breakfast and sandwich options.
What I really like is that there is finally a good option to the standard McD's and DD at the airport. As a rule, there's a lot of fast food at airports but this place stands out. I hope it can last.
As a standalone restaurant, I'd probably give it 4.5 stars, but for something different at the small ROC airport, it deserves 5. I highly recommend it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Geoff D.Alameda, CA0893Apr 23, 2015
Yuck.
Mediocre service and awful food option at the ROC airport. Really, seriously lousy attitude by the staff. Food ok. I won't be back even though I'm flying in and out of here every couple of weeks. Subway's better. Hell, even McDonalds seems more appealing.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Liz W.Olympia, WA5261Aug 14, 2016
Unfriendly, lousy staff. Mediocre coffee. Maybe smile a bit? Customer service much? Not cool.

Arguably idiotic name for a French Cafe - to be called "Brioche" and yet not serve brioche?
As was explained to me "It's just a name..."
Multi-grain croissants are very good. Espresso OK.
Service - well, you know - airport level service -- they are past the security checkpoint next to McDonald's.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
