The place is great as long as you concentrate only on the bagels.
There is definitely a service issue here - the helpers behind the counter seem like they don't want to be there. The owner himself is a little rough around the edges.
However, they are the only game in town for a delicious, fresh bagel.
Spacious, wifi, I agree sometimes service isnt the best but they have a good sandwich selection and good breakfast bagels. The everything bagel is my fav.
Ordered my bagel with little difficulty, yet it wasn't made.
Went to pay for my bagel and it wasn't rung up.
Tried to select a drink and there were none.
Decided to cancel my order and no one spoke English (no I'm not kidding).
After all this what did I receive? A hard, stale raisin bagel with crappy cream cheese. That is my penance for walking into a bagel store that doesn't sell real bagels and where no one speaks my native tongue, though they do sell tongue.
So it begs me to ask the question:
Quis hic locus? Quae regio? Quae mundis plaga?
What world is this? What kingdom? What shores of what world?
I agree with the comments about the service. They're a bit gruff, which seems so unnecessary considering there's rarely ever a line. This is not midtown Manhattan in the morning. It's late Saturday morning (cough or afternoon). I just want a bagel, no attitude please.
On the positive side, I had quite possibly the best bagel of my life. It was their new French toast bagel, which is probably just an egg bagel with cinnamon and sugar, but O-M-G, toasted with butter and syrup, it's amazing. Definitely not something to be eaten regularly, but on weekends it's totally acceptable. Or at least that's what I tell myself.

Mmm... I love carbs, especially bagels!
Bricktown is a tad more expensive than other bagel shops, but… Read more »
Unfortunately this place is sub par suburban at best. Bagels aren't very good, terrible coffee and service is weird. I really wanted to like the place and gave it plenty of tries. I also can't stand the ugly decor and glass front. It looks like it's in a mall or some other mediocre place.
A real disappointment. The owners seem very cool, too. Come on guys, raise the bar a little. Create a standard.
Bricktown Bagels has solid NY bagels, good breakfast sandwiches, and good coffee. All the things that count for a bagel place. The lounge area in front with free Wifi is icing on the cake.
a great addition to the neighborhood.
Bricktown bagels: The tasty bagels and classy decor is really great, but the bagel-nazi service and odd music selection more than makes up for that. They have wifi, but if you want to use the copious power outlets, you'll have to swallow your pride first.
A typical recent encounter between Customer (C) and Manager (M):
C: I would like to buy a bagel and a drink and then sit down, plug in my computer, and work for a few hours. Is that OK?
M: How many hours?
C: I dunno, 4-5 (that's how long the store is open)
M: What kind of bagel?
C: Something with salmon and cream cheese, I guess.
M: OK, go ahead.
