Try "The Garlic Encounter."
Heaven. Pita, roasted garlic, feta sauce (feta & yogurt, maybe?), kalamata olives, and tomatoes. Heaven, I repeat.Listed in: Take Me On A Date

Review from Lauren S.
Overall: Great outdoor seating and HUGE beers.
Food: It's pretty much your typical bar food options but they all taste pretty good. The last time I ate there was about 2 years ago (the most recent visit was just for drinks.)
Drinks: It's "home of the painkiller." It's a fruity, slightly coconut-y drink that's actually pretty darn good. Given the size, you would have to upgrade to a level 2 or 3 to get the job done, but it's a great sipper. If beer is more you're thing you have lots of options and the sizes get HUGE. They also have table taps so that's always good if the table can agree on 1 beer.
Atmosphere: I love a good outdoor patio! -

Hit this place up on a Saturday afternoon...and you know we sat in the patio so we could people watch...big plus!
I had the fish and chips with slaw...the slaw was lacking any mayo and kind of chunky but the fish and chips were made textbook. My gf had the shrimp and beef skewers with rice. Those were very tasty and the sauce that came with was great.
Service was solid though it started off slow. and the $3 Jagers shots were great! -

We came here to watch the game and grab a bite to eat for dinner. I had been here once before and had the fish and chips, which I enjoyed. On this particular visit I ordered the Guinness stew. It was a bit non-traditional because it had beans and tomatoes in it but it still tasted good. They were kind of stingy with the amount of beef in the stew though. Overall, I could really taste the Guinness so I still enjoyed it.
The menu items are pretty inexpensive here and there are lots of TVs for game watching. The service was good as well and it's a good place to people watch. They have an outdoor patio which is fun and often crowded with patrons. Brewhouse Cafe is a typical Irish pub but I can see why it is a little five points staple. I give it 3.5 stars. -

Super busy today, but great service from Ben!

Review from Alex H.
All I knew about this place before I walked in is that it's the place for soccer fans to go to watch games. As such I had my low expectations blown away. The beer selection was really good, for a reasonable price, in multiple sizes (it comes in brews!)
The food was great. The gravy in the bangers and mash was delicious and tangy. The Guinness stew was flavorful and the variety of root vegetables added depth. The fish and chips looked real good, too.
They lose a point though, as during the meal I remembered the one complaint I heard about the place. The pita plate with hummus, roasted garlic, and olives could use about half again more pita. And charging $2.50 for another basket of pita makes me grumbly. -

3.5 stars?
Space/Ambience: Nothing spectacular inside. They have a spacious outdoor patio with fireplaces and a TV on each end. The TV on the northern end was missing, not sure if they will replace it. Dogs are allowed on the northern end of the patio. Parking is limited, as is the case with most places in L5P (this may actually be one the larger lots in the area).
Crowd: Pretty varied, and generally on par with other L5P spots. But I always expect to see a lot of international parties (a heard some portuguese and some british accents in two separate tables this last visit- I think it s the soccer thing they have going here), hipsters, modern/counter-culture parents with kids, dogs of all sizes and probably anything in between.
Food: Average bar food. Lots of choices. Really good deals include pitcher and pizza for two for $20, or pitcher and 12 wings for the same price. Our server let us pick almost any beer they had on draught. They have a similar brunch deal that includes a pitcher of mimosa.
Drinks: Lots of options on draught, I never tried anything else.
Service: Varies. When we first walked in, the first waitress bluntly stated we were on the wrong side of the patio because we had our dog with us. I tried to ask a second waitress if she knew if any parties were ordering checks and all I got was a statement about how it's first come first serve and that she couldn't help me. So we had a rough start. However, once we sat down our server was awesome. He was really laid back, let us do substitutions, was very apologetic about anything that had run out (it was St. Pats weekend after all) and repeatedly thanked us for our patience.
Overall impression- I don't come here often enough but this place can be a cheap, chill place to hang out on a sunny day. Avoid the mean waitresses, order one of their cheap combo orders and appreciate the most international crowd I have experienced in Atlanta. -
Review from Belle S.
I came here this past summer to watch a soccer game. And for that, I really liked this sports bar! It has a lively, fun atmosphere and makes the games so much more fun. Because it gets super crowded, it's best to arrive well before your game. Some of the crowds can get easily offended, so be careful if you're having a great time cheering for your team. It was all fun though. I would definitely be back for another game or to try their food.

Great patio on a nice day - although I worry about the proximity to Moreland Ave and the possibility that a stray Oldsmobile could careen into the patio area, killing me dead between sips of 420.
The waitstaff has always been really cool, on a particularly hot day last year, our server brought out a baggie of ice to submerge in our pitcher to keep the beer from going tepid. That, to me, is the hallmark of above-and-beyond service.
The food is questionable at best. I stopped getting food there after encountering the absolutely worst salsa I've ever tasted in my life. if you can't even make an edible salsa it's hard to convince me that the kitchen can make anything worth putting in your mouth.
Did I mention the awesome patio? -

This review would have been a 4 Star review if random guy at the bar hadn't taken his pants off.
4 Stars for Atmosphere- The place is in the middle of Little 5, it's gigantic, has a gigantic patio, and a private lot. They let you bring your dog on the patio (plus!) and they have a covered patio for the wintertime. It's pretty much a standard Sports Bar inside, with flat screen TVs and a long wooden bar. My only complaint is that they allow smoking indoors :( bumping this down to 4.
3.5 Stars for Food- The food is pretty good! My boyfriend got burgers and they were cooked exactly like we asked. They actually do a Medium-Rare burger here, so expect it to definitely be pink in the middle if that's what you ask for. The seasoning was fine, nothing terribly exciting, I'd like to try something different next time. The portions are huge, we might even split next time. The beer was good (a very polite 'nut brown ale') and we got to keep the glass because it was Thursday (yay!).
5 Stars for Service- Our Server, Adam, was friendly, attentive and knew the menu really well. We were surprised to find out that he'd been there for 11 hours already, because it didn't show. The place wasn't packed out, so I can't attest to service when the place is super busy.
BUT it must have been Drunk and Obnoxious night at Brewhouse Cafe and we weren't clued in first... two of the guys at the bar were yelling loudly at each other all night, and then one person took his pants off and started walking around in boxers. I'm no prude, but really. My appetite was shot. I really wish the manager or somebody would have asked him to put his clothes back on. Anyway, upshot, I wouldn't take the kids here because some middle age man might decide to take his clothes off, and the management seems ok with that.
Needless to say, we left quickly after that. Maybe we'll call ahead of time in the future to see if all their patrons have clothes on. -

Best Soccer pub in the Eastside of Atlanta. You'll see big crowds here for any EPL or USMNT game. Went there with a friend to see US-Mexico a couple years ago and it was standing room only. Good atmosphere. Traditional English style pub. Breakfast is great, so are the fish & chips. For breakfast I recommend the Bangers & Mash, or the Scottish Breakfast. Good place for a morning beer on a saturday or sunday. The painkiller is their signature drink, also good if you're looking to get hammered before lunchtime.

Nice patio in the cute inman park neighborhood.
I had some queso, salsa, and hummus. Very fresh taste. Didn't order any beer because I took allergy pills. Anyway it was nice just sitting here, enjoying spring breeze. -

Every time we eat there the food is great! I am sad though that the Salmon BLT is no longer on the menu but the turkey panini was just as good. The chicken tenders are coated in a light flaky beer batter and are so soft you have to try them.

Another place that I've somehow never been until now. We had great food, service, and drinks. Very laid-back, neighborhood bar kind of place. The tots were crispy and awesome. We also had their signature drink, the Painkiller. It was delicious! Love anywhere that'll substitute a veggie burger into one of their other burger types. I had the Fire in the Hole (garlic Thai chili sauce, fresh sliced jalapenos and pepper jack cheese). You should go.

Your standard English pub fare is available for you, that's if you get it when its warm. If you're relying on warm, then don't rely on Karl (aka Backward Hat I Miss My Fraternity Guy). There's definitely a lot of sawdust up in his head because he looked lost. Maybe it was his first day on the job during a big soccer match (Man U. vs. Chelsea). Either way, he's just plain bad. Avoid Karl because cold eggs over easy are not very good. On another note, it took 45 minutes for me to get my food and another 30 afterwards for the other people at the table to get theirs. That's pretty horrid service.
This place is where you want to go to watch soccer and rugby matches. Yes they do show football games, but I prefer the one that actually relies on your feet. If it's a big game, get there early so you can get a seat. Champions League final, two hours early because it's standing room only. Rugby World Cup is packed as well and full of real fans.
The food is typical for an English style pub and typically order the Brewhouse Feast on Sundays. Good breakfast of two eggs, bacon, English sausage, etc. and definitely the perfect filler for the day. Brew prices are nominal for this place so it's good for your beer tastes. -

this is such a great place to drink beer, eat a burger and watch the game, great atmosphere and great food. The staff is super nice, our server was Rachel and she was a sweetie!
I love the outdoor seating, its a good place to people watch in L5P, and let's face it, there's a lot of entertainment going on in L5P. The wings are really good, the pizzas are tasty-I like the Thai Chicken and the Fish N Chips are crispy! This is also a great place to come for a hang-over because the bruch menu is YUMMY! PS, the painkiller does exactly what it says, it will kill any pain you have!!

Review from Angela M.
Wanting to watch the Falcons game, I searched Yelp for something near the Highlands with football and brunch and came up with Brewhouse.
We arrived around noon and asked where the Falcons game would be showing. Unfortunately, the only TV's showing it were inside the restaurant, which has smoking. Not great for our little guy. It was early enough in the day that there were only 2 people smoking, so we sat on the other side of the Christmas tree from them.
We chose the Brewhouse Brunch for 2 which consists of any 2 items from the breakfast menu with a bottle of sparkling wine, a pitcher of mimosas, or a pitcher of Bloody Mary's. I got the egg white omelet (which comes with spinach, tomatoes, feta, and mushrooms) with fruit, while J got the french toast with grits. After much debate, we decided on the Bloody Mary's. The server let us order at 12:15, and brought us the pitcher right at 12:30. The Bloody's were very substantive, with plenty of tomato juice and plenty of vodka such that you really felt you could sink your teeth into them. The omelet was good - a little on the oily side, and the mushrooms were still so firm - but my little one devoured 3/4 of it. I ended up ordering the chipotle bacon sandwich with potatoes as my actual brunch meal. The "chiptole" bacon was just bacon with chipotle sauce added after cooking. The sandwich was pretty good, but the white bread could've used a little more toast to stand up to the juices of the tomatoes and bacon. The potatoes were a little charred, but nice and fluffy in the center.
Our server brought us cards to sign us up for the Brewhouse Football Club - they were doing a raffle at half time of the Falcons game for Falcons tickets. And we got 10% off our bill. She said show it any time we come for 10% off.
It's a decent enough spot for some food and beverages, though parking can be tight and there is smoking throughout.

I have been here 4 times and it's usually a hit or miss. The food is pretty average pub food, nothing amazing but nothing disgusting either. The last time I was there( last week) I had some of the worst service I have ever had. A server that was slow, unfriendly and plain rude. He screwed up our check three times, brought us dirty silverware and I had to ask for drink refills. After he explained his mistakes to the manager she just glared over at our table and didn't even come over to apologize for keeping us there 25 minutes after our initial check. I would continue going here for the cheap food, but after my previous service, I wont be back. Much better places in the area with people that truly care about their jobs.

I must say, I don't give enough face time to B'house when in L5P (because, well, there beer list isn't as extensive as others). But I really need to come here more because every time I do, I have a great time! Plus, in spite of a shorter beer list than surrounding bars, they have a much more extensive liquor drink list, which is always fun.
I've seen some spotty service here (as other reviewers complained about, too) but generally it was while I was here during happy hour, sitting outside whiling away the hours with friends and drinks -- so even if the service wasn't perfect, it was a good time regardless. As a former hospitality employee (name it, I've done it -- well, everything but serve as a head cook), I try to give a server a little leeway if it's busy. Esp at B'House, because with outdoor and indoor seating, it's a bit impossible to try and cover tables in both areas at all times.
The patio is really what makes this place awesome. Oh, and their food is tasty -- a plus while you're sitting enjoying the sights and sounds of downtown L5P. :) And as aforementioned, they have good drinks. What's not to love? I'm particularly fond of the B'House Chips appy -- because anything smothered with bleu cheese is good, right? -- and these are especially so. I've also enjoyed the hummus and garlic feta dish. True, I haven't tried much on the menu, but I'll definitely be back for more. -

Great patio, excellent pub food and the best bloody mary in town! This is the place to watch soccer in Atlanta - the Brewhouse attracts a fantastic group of loyal regulars. I've become a frequent patron over the past year, mainly during brunch hours to catch European soccer, and honestly have never had bad service. The staff is friendly and efficient. Colleen in particular is excellent. A great neighborhood pub.

I'm sure this place is fun for live futbol, but I've only been here in the evening which is too late to catch those big European matches.
Drinks are standard and food is above average for a pub. Everything I've eaten here has been pretty good.
The problem I have with Brewhouse is service. Every time I go to Brewhouse service is absolutely terrible. On one occasion it actually took 45 minutes to get our drinks after sitting down. The only reason we didn't leave is because of the VCU vs. Butler game.
My next visit was after a festival. We decided to stop in to watch some Hawks basketball and grab some food. Again... service was awful. It took about 20 minutes for our drinks to get to the table after ordering and we never saw our appetizer. We cancelled the order once our entree came out.
I dol not recommend this place to any group (large or small) on a Friday or Saturday evening. Try it out early in the day for some live overseas soccer. -
Review from Lee B.
I'd venture to say that in my almost nine years of living in Atlanta, I've been to the Brewhouse more than any other bar in the city. So, obviously, I like it. But it's definitely not without it's faults.
Good:
* Patio is awesome in nice weather. Fun people watching in Little 5.
* Good beer selection.
* Good food selection with lots of vegetarian items
* Little parking lot that I've been lucky to get a space in. If not, plenty of parking available on side streets.
* Area for dogs
* Tator tots
Bad:
* Service is spotty. If the bar is crowded, the servers seem really rushed and overwhelmed. I've had some really bad service here.
* Inside of bar is pretty little. When it's winter and the patio isn't open, the capacity of the bar basically gets cut in half.
The goods definitely outweigh the bads. -
Review from Molly W.
Oh the Brewhouse. How you constantly live up to my fantastical needs. Do you need two BEER TOWERS on a Tuesday afternoon? Why yes, I believe I do.
Let's start out with the best waiter there. Kevin Jones you made my afternoon. You told us what you honestly thought about the food and the beer selections. You were knowledgeable and were always friendly to us when we were being ridiculous. I think we have met our newest server buddy. You made the experience at the Brewhouse.
Their patio is always a great way to spend the afternoon with your Beer Tower. You can watch all of the matches you want and you still get to sit and chat with your friends without having to yell over a television. Thank you for that.
The hot wings I had were great. I preferred the lemon pepper over the hot garlic but hey. Their fries did not need salt and for me that's huge since I am a salt fiend.
I believe all around it's a solid choice and I will be heading back soon.

I don't know what it is, but despite Brewhouse being just a few blocks from my casa I don't make it in there on the regular. On nice days I actually drive to Cypress to appreciate their patio over Brewhouse's equally spectacular one. Maybe it's just because I have my comfort zone, or maybe it's because I haven't given Brewhouse a fair shake.
On my most recent visit, a stunningly gorgeous Friday afternoon, the patio was desolate. It was totally weird, and I can't explain it. Bands were setting up for the L5P parade and festival, there was a slight breeze, blue skies, and I was the only one there. Not that I'm complaining, mind you, just that I found it odd. My server, Colleen, was quick with the refills and quite friendly. The beer list didn't totally blow me away, but I suppose that's what the Porter is for.
I know one thing: I'll be back to Brewhouse a lot sooner than originally planned. I think there's something great here, I just need to find it.Listed in: Free Wi-Fi!, My NEW Neighborhood., Al Fresco in the ATL, Little Five Points., Our Drinking Team has a Trivia…

Recently I had the opportunity to head into this joint when I I had a friend in town from Scotland. First of all the Brewhouse had the premier league games on each every flat screen. In the words of the Scott, "this is brilliant!"
Adam was the bartender on duty this particular afternoon. He was extremely attentive with impeccable customer service.
They have an extensive beer list which is very important when out and about with a Scotchman.
The pub food is something to write home about. We started off with chicken wings in both traditional hot and Asian flavored sauces. The wings were fried to perfection and gently smothered in sauce.
Along with the wings came an order of tatter tots, which makes one nostalgic for the 5th grade lunch room.
Next we got the chicken fingers, which were lightly battered, fried while completely juicy and full of flavor.
I will definitely be heading back here to watch some soccer again real soon. -

I went to Brewhouse for the first time a week or two ago to watch Newcastle take on Liverpool (my boyfriend is a huge Newcastle fan). I've lived close to Little 5 for the last year, but having just turned 21 last month, I'd never really given this place a try. All I can say is that I'm glad I did.
I guess I should say that we went in the early afternoon on a Saturday - around 12:30 - so I have no idea what this place is like on a Friday/Saturday night. What I do know is that I had an excellent time. There were lots of British transplants in the bar for the game, which made people-watching lots of fun. The atmosphere was great, and our server was a doll.
But oh my goodness, the food. I saved the best for last here, folks. we went for the brunch special, which is two choices off the brunch menu and a pitcher of mimosas for $25. I got the sausage rolls, which is a nicely sized sausage (teehee) baked inside a puff pastry and served with a side of curried mustard. It was fantastic. Perfect meat to bread ratio, although I do recommend getting it with a side of fruit or something light to cut the richness. My boyfriend got the Brewhouse feast, which was an array of delicious breakfast items, including beans and toast and the best bacon we'd ever tasted.
All in all, it was worth it. I will definitely be going back for more soccer and other sporting events in the future. -

I've been going here for years and when I'm away from Atlanta, I dream of gorgeous spring and autumn days of drinking with friends on the patio while people watching. The days of autumn are here and I'm in Atlanta. YAY! I have always hated the service here, and quit going for some time a while back. However, that's all changed. I've been three times since returning to ATL, having a different, very friendly, and very attentive server each time. I actually don't mind the food here. It's a good mix. I only go inside to use the restroom after several Sweetwaters. The interior is dingy, sticky, and stinky - a bit of a dirt bar feeling. The patio, however, is sure to pleasure all your senses while gazing at all the L5P lowlifes and listening to hints of a drum circle from just across the way.

So I used to visit the Brewhouse quite often because the patio is fantastic, and the food is good. But I eventually got sick of the notoriously horrible, terrible, slow as molasses service and stopped going there for a couple years.
Recently, I decided to give it another try. I started off slowly by stopping by for a late night drink at the bar. They were pretty close to shutting the doors for the night, but the bartender was super nice and gave me several opportunities to order another drink if I wanted(this doesn't happen everywhere, most bars shine lights in your face to get you to leave.)
Then I went for lunch. Had great service and food. And just the other night went again for dinner. I don't know what happened, but they sure got their act together. Can't wait for the warm weather again so I can waste away a nice afternoon on the patio! -

Let's just cut to the chase:
-Great sports atmosphere, especially if you're an actual soccer fan(They are the 'official bar' of FC Barcelona), with a handful of flatscreens on the covered patio and even one on the outdoor patio.
-Patios offer an exceptional outdoor atmosphere, also the vibe of the whole restaurant is very laid back
-Great drink selection, I got a 'Brew' which is a 32oz drink and I got their house made cider. It was excellent, really smooth and crisp and relatively cheap
-I've eaten their wings both times I've gone (hot garlic and lemon pepper most recently), always a solid choice, and they aren't stingy. I ordered a 12 count and they gave me about 15. Who doesn't love that?
-Its in little 5. a place that has something for everyone. I went there on Sunday, drank on the patio while watching the game, lolled around little 5's and ending up buying some really cool(and cheap) clothes. -
Review from Tamara S.
I began frequenting Brewhouse during the World Cup, and it was super fun, definitely the place in Atlanta to watch soccer games, during the World Cup and otherwise. They have a big tent set up with several screens and a couple of outdoor bars during the games. We did leave during the final game to go watch across the street at Corner Tavern because it was just too crazy, but that's not their fault.
Anyway, I called to ask if they would be showing my beloved Rays on a Tuesday night and I was told sure thing, anything you want to watch, we'll put on. Money. So much better than being told, "sorry, this is Braves country" at Taco Mac. I came with a few friends and we sat watching the game. We didn't order a ton, but our server was still super friendly and they didn't give us flack for staying for the entire game.
I went back tonight (big series against the Yankees, y'all, and we took two out of three!) to watch the game--my first solo trip to a bar. I'm really shy so it was kind of a big deal for me, and I survived. Everyone was super nice to me and a lot of the servers would hang with me and chat baseball. It does seem like a lot of the people hanging out at the bar are also employed there, but whatever, I guess it's a sign that they like where they work.
They have a pretty decent beer selection with lots of specials--and they have these cool one-hundred ounce Yuengling towers which are kinda neat. I suck at math so at $22 I'm not sure it's a great deal, but sometimes novelty is wroth it. Their fries are delicious.
The only complaint I'd have is that they put cups right into the ice chest to fill them with ice, which could be kind of gross on refills. Might be better to have a little ice scoop. Anyway, I started asking for no ice in my water.
Brewhouse is going to be my go-to spot for baseball, etc. from now on. -

This place has a great atmosphere for watching soccer matches. It's easy to meet other fans and cheer along together. It does get very packed though, so it's important to secure a good viewing angle on the televisions in advance.
Otherwise, the food is good bar food, lots of vegetarian options. Service and Drink selection is fantastic, with excellent bloody marys at brunch time. The patio is also lovely when the weather is nice.
Parking is challenging so we always just park behind the Star Bar and walk over.Listed in: Best Brunches

Review from Ted C.
Drinking wise I think this would be a nice place to relax and hang out. Food wise, it's just kind of okay. It was a designated brunch spot for the day. We waited for the rest of our party to show up so the initial server said she would be handing us off to Paul, who showed up later-after an awkward intro where she turned to point him out but he wasn't there. I was hungry and tired of waiting so I got the potato leek soup, creamy, with the potato flavor giving way to the onion-y taste of the leek which made it a good start to the day.
Their brunch special dish was a crab cake benedict which kind of fell flat. The crab cake was a little, thin thing and not too tasty and the egg was overdone. If i get a benedict anything I expect the egg to kind of explode in a yolky mess but it didn't, just a little runny. Likewise, my friend ordered a steak as rare as could be but it pretty much came out medium. I think the place seems like a fun hangout but not to eat at. -

When there isn't much of a crowd, this is a nice little cave-bar. They've got a good draft beer selection, which includes some stuff you don't normally see on tap (Tetley's, Boddington's, Magner's). They also have quite the assortment of vegetarian pub grub, including a veggie Reuben (ask me how my arteries felt after that). And yeah, the patio rocks.
But, like a lot of people, I don't love the place. Only three of the bartenders are competent, and lord help you if you have to deal with any of the others. If, for some reason, you come here on a busy night, the place is packed with frat boys. They also have one of those wretched Internet jukeboxes that seems to be set to butt rock as a default.
Summary judgment: Pretty good when it's quiet and you can have a pint while you pretend you've just finished up a hard day down the coal mine. At the first sign of frat boys, run. -

Horrible service.
We went there just the other day with a group of 10 people. When we got there it was fairly slow and we were able to push a couple tables together to fit us all. Our waitress came up and took our drink orders, brought us our drinks, took our dinner orders and then that was the end of good service.
We waited over an hour without our waitress ever coming back to our table. We had to go up to the bar to order drinks. Finally she came back and we asked about our food and she said that there is a delay in the kitchen of 45 minutes. We told her we ordered in hour ago and asked for her to go check on our food status. She said she would go check and be right back.
She never came back.
We had to track down the manager just to get our tabs so we could leave.
I understand there being a wait for food (even though it was not busy when we ordered...) but our waitress should have given us a heads up and should have checked in on us to see if we wanted drinks while we waited. Also, if you tell a table your going to check up on something, go ahead and actually check up on it. You are not doing anyone any favors by ignoring us. -

Sausage Rolls!!!!!
Delicious Scottish Sausage Rolls!
The Crack of the food world!
I love the broody English feel of the bar and the over abundance of outdoor seating. Great specials, and plenty of room for a large group... if I lived closer, I think we'd have a contender!
If you've never been before, give the wannabe football hooligans in the corner plenty of space. Sure it's slightly menacing... but that's kinda the places charm.
Oh, and guys... I mean that in the nice way... um... like in the way that you wish you could be in England at a game... not that your a bunch of posers. That's not what I mean! That would be the opposite of what I mean!
Um... so to clarify... please do not place my open mouth on the curb and knock my jaw off by stepping on the back of my head!
Keep Calm and Carry On! -

"Paul" A says to me " rule # 1 of throwing up is don't phone the honey when you are in mid vom"
I had my arms around the bowl in the ( now newly remodelled stalls I might add) and I was trying to explain that I did not phone her, I was answering the phone. He wasn't listening. The honey wasn't listening. No-one was listening to me. Maybe I was not communicating so effectively myself.
Still, got out of there, with the phone, cleaned up and walked home.
And had a great night. One of many. A great selection of beers, lots of football, decent food ( although i have only ever ordered the philly with onion rings). -

With the weather warming up my thoughts automatically go to Brewhouse! Once of the best patio experiences in Atlanta. The people watching in L5P on warm weekend days is amazing!
There seems to be a good selection of drinks, although I aways opt for a bucket of High Life. The food is also pretty good. I can certainly endorse the chicken fingers and tots.
The only downside is that the servers get way backed up on crowded days and sometimes traffic can be loud. -

Today was a great day to sit outside with friends and have some drinks. The Brewhouse is a terrific place to do that. This is the third time over the last couple of months that I have done that and I am sure I will many more times.
The good things - Nice patio, dog friendly, good people watching, good service.
The bad things - they are always out of some of the beers on their list. Today the were out of Sierra Nevada and ran out of Corona. The food that I have had is wildly inconsistent. Some was good, some was not good.
The good things rate 4 stars and the bad things rate two stars so the final verdict is 3 stars. -

The Brewhouse is an institution in little five points (l5p). It's a place where people can watch sports (read-mostly football, aka soccer) and have a few, but really it is even more than that.
On a nice, sunny day you can sit out on the porch and watch the lovely parade of weirdos stroll by on the street while you enjoy a drink and some delicious food.
If it is cold out you can sit inside and play trivia or poker on certain days or fool with their great jukebox. Or sit on the covered patio that now has two roaring fireplaces to keep you toasty.
While the food is delicious, there are still a few vegan fares - there's the soysage gyro that is vegan from what I hear, but the pita it is encased with may not be. Still haven't gotten a solid answer on that after all these years. But if you are a vegetarian you can order off the menu and say you want the soysage gyro and get an outstanding meal while looking like a local. Otherwise there is amazing hummus with veggies and such for us vegans.
Oh and by the way, they do have an amazing brunch on Sundays that will keep you from having to do yardwork if you want to convince your more fastidious partner of going to in order to avoid the inevitable!
My favorite part about this place is the Dog Pound- when it is warm out they dedicate a part of the outside patio to dogs so you can bring your (well-behaved) pooch up there to enjoy the sun, fun, food, and brew with your best friend. And they also supply water bowls for your four-legged friend as well!
