This is by far the single greatest video game store in northern California. Their selection of games ranging from old school Nintendo, to rare Playstation games, to Sega Saturn games is simply amazing. I tried to go out there once every couple of months to see if I can add games to my Playstation or Nintendo 64 collection since they usually have them. The people who work there are all great, and know just as much about video games as the rest of us dorks. This is by far my favorite video game store ever.

Nice place to get old systems and retro games at, but a bit overpriced in my opinion.
Still a nice place to visit just to look at all the old games and reminisce. -

So I made the hour trip to get out here to see what my brother brought light to me. I would never want to live in Brentwood. Oh Dear Lord no. Wow.
So I get in and I can't help but notice that this place looks like classic Funcoland. You know, it was GameStop before they bought out every other video game store becoming one of the top fifty stores in the world. I'm not joking by the way. Funcoland used to let the customer test video games in the provided televisions. Yes I know they have that today with their fancy flat screens and encasements with their multiple demos. But these were just cabinets with TVs, the system and the whole game itself. It's just nostalgic for me. Whatever.
Anyways, there is a lot of stuff here. Almost everything you could imagine when it comes to video game history is here. The owner has PILES of old consoles. There is too much stuff here. So pretty much, the only major things I noticed he didn't have were the Nintendo Toploader, an Atari 2600 and a Sega 32X. These aren't too major, especially the 32X, but it was something that stuck out most to me. But when it comes to things I haven't seen in a long time are Game Boy Pockets, Game Gears, Sega CD games and a second generation Super Nintendo.
There is a good balance of old to new. Most of the new stuff is behind the counter and the old stuff is inside the many glass displays.
I was very pleased by coming here because I've never seen a store like it.
The only down side to this place is that the prices are guaranteed to be higher. I shop at GameStop too often to not notice that some games are cheaper there than here. If you own an iPhone or a Blackberry, you're lucky because you can compare prices online or on the GameStop website on the spot. You don't need to contemplate for so long.
I didn't buy anything but it was awesome being there. My friend bought Mega Man X, Batman Returns and Kirby's Dream Land 3. I can tell you that he could've found it cheaper online. Except for the Batman Returns. It was in the original box with the manual. So this place just depends on how dedicated you are to gaming.
But yeah, check the place out. I can guarantee that you will be surprised more than once when coming here. Kind of like a museum. An expensive one. -

Went here today with my fiance. My first impression was "omg, it smells really bad in here." Anyway, they have a TON of video games in this store. I'm talking cases and cases upon cases of old school video games and consoles. I'm pretty sure I even saw an Atari for sale. I was SO excited when I saw a blue gun that I used to play with for Duck Hunt when I was maybe 4 or 5 years old with our neighbors.
So my fiance had been looking EVERYWHERE for Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution for the XBOX 360 because there was a trailer for the game when he bought his console and it was the only game that appealed to me (I don't play video or computer games) so he was on a quest to find it to play it with me. Fortunately, we found it here at this store!
The kid eating Sun Chips behind the counter gave us a discount (the sticker price, pretax, was $24.99 used) and we got it for, including tax, $24.02. This was a LOT better than what we had been quoted by other stores that could order it (between $50 new -$30 used) It was in pristine condition with the manual.
There are TONS of XBOX 360 games for buy 2 get one free. Pretty snazzy deal! -

Very conveinent location, and good hours. They have all the old school games and systems. I plan on buying a Sega CD from them and the old school Night Trap game.
