That's the northern city of Brentwood, not the district of Brentwood in So-Cal a.k.a. OJ land.
I am so glad I finally got out of my last place of residence, which shall remain name-less. Why kick someone when their down?
Brentwood - You are expanding and growing like crazy. So many cities & towns can't handle it. I've seen it happen. I know the signs. Greed & the almighty dollar become the focus, while John Q. Public fades into a fuzzy smudge in the background. Not you.

The shopping centers are classy and have plenty of parking. The bypass rocks! Keep up the great work with Cal Trans on that. I'm beyond excited about the open air theater/mall that's currently under construction. I've heard rumors and mumblings of some of the restaurants/stores that may be going in. Not one has received a nose squint or an eyebrow raise, from me. They are all excellent choices.
The city parks, sport courts & trails are one of my favorite things about this great town. Friendly, safe & clean. Downtown is quaint & charming. There's just a great sense of community (sans snoot), which is hard to come by these days. I haven't taken up golfing (yet) but the courses sure are gorgeous to run by.
I'm even excited to pay my consolidated garbage/water/sewer bill. It's half of what we used to pay for them separately, before we moved here.
I've had my daughters in private school for 8 years. I have faith enough, in you Brentwood, to put them into your public school system next year. That's saying a lot.
Can I make one small request? Don't take all the "rural" out of our town. Experiencing a sunset crawling along our orchards and slowly disappearing behind Mt. Diablo is nothing short of breathtaking.
