I'm a regular at this place for about a year. I found it consistent. The five-star rating is due to the 4.5 average; did not want to downtrend the aggregate. This is my first five star rating.
In an areas where there are numerous franchise-type restaurants. This was a good find. Steaks are well-prepared. My favorites are the rib-eye, porterhouse and (when it offered as a daily special) the cowboy steak. Other notable specials are Tuesday's the surf and turf special ($25) and Wednesday's Prime Rib ($17).
Besides these specials, they have a weekday early bird special (which ends at 5:45) consisting of beer/wine, soup/salad, main entrée, dessert and coffee/tea for $17 dollars.
Lastly, the place has piano music. -

I like Steak, To find a good local steakhouse in this area is a challenge.
I have been here twice, always a nice place to splurge. My reservations were early for diner, and good thing, because the place filled up quickly on a Saturday night.
Appetizers were good and plentiful. As were the sides. I ordered the Porterhouse, my friend ordered the sirloin, We both were extremely happy with both the service and the food, The drinks hit the spot.
I bit pricey ($150.00 for the two of us) with two drinks each.
We both had plenty to take home. (so two diners for the price of one)
I definitely will return, sooner rather than later. -

Porterhouse Steak was AWESOME!!!!! Now I can cancel Luger's off my bucket list!!
Staff was great. Medium rare was perfect!! drinks and salad as well!! I'll be there more as I have in the past - regardless of economy!! Worth working extra hours to pay for it!! -

This place is awesome! The steaks are soooo good. If you are looking for a nice steak with great flavor, this is your place. The decor is nothing to write home about...definitely needs updating. Our steaks came with a salad too- try the green goddess dressing! So good! And definitely recommend making a reservation. We made one and were lucky because there was not a table to be had in the entire place. We will definitely be back.

Although we wanted to like this place a lot we were disappointed. We were a big fan when they first opened but unfortunately saw the business go down hill after a year or two. So we decided to try them again and were underwhelmed with a typical steak, service and ambience.
Poor wine selection and an overcrowded bar area round out the dining experience. Not quite a 3 star joint and would say 2 1/2 would be my real rating if possible... -

Does this place have a good steak, yes. Would the service have brought this review up a star, yes.
From what I could tell of the rest of the waiters/waitresses I think it was just bad luck on my part to get the mediocre service I did on a slow Tuesday night.
Upon arriving at Brennen's we were greeted by the hostess and seated quickly but then more than a few minutes went by before our waitress acknowledged us.
After a bit of a rocky start we were able to order and waited patiently for our food. When it made its' way to the table, everything was hot and cooked to order, thank God! My Delmonico was all it promises to be, a juicy and flavorful piece of meat. The Porterhouse was also really well prepared and the Mahi that was ordered was light and well cooked.
Despite being stuffed to the gills coffee and dessert made its way to the table. Skip the chocolate cake folks, it tastes like the refrigerator. My espresso however was good.
All in all, a passable restaurant that has the potential to be good if the server puts a little sweat into it. -

Great steak, and the dinner special can't be beat. A definite win in my book - oh, and try the scallops Brennen. They are delish! Decent wine list too!

Brennan's has GREAT STEAKS!!! I don't get to have a steak that often, but when I do this is the place in the area that I prefer. I recomend the Delmonico(?). The Service is great., and pricing is moderate.
I usually skip dessert, but they have some wonderful options. Here Tigger!! Let's go for a little run!! Daddy has some calories to burn tonight. -

Dined at Brennens this past week and for lack of a better term, I came away satisfied.
Steaks were cooked to correct temperature, sides were fine and salads were non descript.
Wine list leaves a lot to be desired.
However, for 4 people the bill came to $150.... not bad, you get what you pay for.... service was fine and the acoustics were ok.
Overall, while my socks weren't blown off, Brennens is definitely a serviceable option for an economical steakhouse. -

Go early and get the early bird special. I had a glass of white wine and a salad. Then Bread and butter. Then Sirloin Steak and Crab Cake with no Filler. The mashed potatoes were awesome and served with mixed veggies. Dessert of chocolate cake and a cup of coffee was delicious. All this for $15.95. Get there before 4:30PM Daily!!!

I'm sad to say but I am extremely disappointed with my latest experience. The service was slow even though we were there & seated by 5:30. We waited 20 minutes for her to take our order after she served our drinks. We ordered fried calamari & stuffed mushrooms. The Calari had this very heavy breading which overwhelmed the rings. The stufffing on the mushrooms was disgusting. I ordered the ribeye & it was worse than an overcooked london broil(tough). At least 3 times I had to spit out inedible veins & gristle. My wife has the ny strip & it was very tough as well. We sat for a 1/2 after our entrees for our waitress to finally show up to ask if we wanted coffee/tea & desert. This place is unbelievably LOUD as soon as it is @ 1/2 capacity. The only thing we enjoyed were the salads(caesar & garden). I gave it 2 stars since their prices are reasonable. Next time I will patonize Outback since I have never gotten a bad meal from them or Carraba's. We have dined here previously & were very satisfied with our meals & service about a year ago.
