We took our car here after reading the positive reviews and it exceeded our expectations twice over. Another mechanic had recommended we get our rear brakes replaced, but when we brought it here they told us it really didn't need to be done yet and would be a waste of our money. They were honest and friendly and we walked out without paying a penny, even for them to look at it and give us recommendations on when we need a tune up.
They have a lifetime customer in me now. -

Mike is a racist asshole. He called me a ghetto ni*&er. The worst part is im not even black. Wow couldnt believe this guy? So i politely tell him to come out from behind the counter or follow me outside and then he bitches out. Big words for such a small worthless guy. Steer clear of this spot if u apparently are not light skinned and by that i mean white. Do yourself a favor and go one more street up and use burien auto repair:-) ask for richard. Quality work done quick.

Mike runs this shop, and he's got the perfect combination I look for in a mechanic. #1. He's beyond competent to fix the problem. #2. He's honest. I've been sent home twice in the last 10 years with no repair done because he pointed out that a 10 second adjustment is all that's needed, and if there is something that needs to be done, I have no doubt he's not padding his bill, it really needs to be done. I live 30 minutes from his shop and I don't care how big or small a problem seems. My car goes nowhere but his shop.

A good mechanic is hard to find and Mike is one of the best. He's skilled and completely honest. I wish that I still lived in Burien because now I have to drive 45 minutes to get to him. It's still quite worth the trip.

I have taken a lot of cars to Brenden's over the years and I can't say enough good things about his service. This is a one man shop and I have taken him European, domestic, and Japanese cars. I've taken him old cars and pretty new cars. I have sent friends and family to him. Nothing seems to stump him. While many people can fix cars, this shop fixes it right the first time so you don't have to go back over and over, the estimates of cost are accurate, and the prices are fair. Unlike some shops, he is also pragmatic about old cars. Does it make sense to do thousands of dollars of work on a car that is worth hundreds? No, not really. He will talk with you about that instead of just trying to get the money. There is no shuttle service, no big screen TV in the waiting room, or any other fancy stuff. It is a garage, and he fixes cars. If I need any work done that is not under warranty, I go to Brenden's.
