Arlington, TN
We've been back a couple more times since "the incident" and have been pleased with everything. I no longer wish the place would burn down and will return often.

Arlington, TN
Quite Pricy, however, every time we go, which isn't often, while the wait time to get a table is not too bad as a rule, and everyone expects a wait at times - the wait at the table for a server is eternal! We've been 2 or 3 times and every time it's as if no server has been assigned our table, or maybe they just don't really want to server tonight?
It is close to my home, but we only go here out of sheer lack of other places to eat in Arlington and/or Oakland. It appears that the owners spent a LOT of money on the building and starting up the restaurant consequently have to charge a boat-load of money for the dishes, however, the dishes don't live up to the price and the service, which seems to be teenagers who simply don't care, is lacking.
Do yourself a favor, do you know why Perkins-Type restaurants have been in business for so long, is their food fabulous? Nah, not fabulous, well, muffins, yes, but other food is always consistently good. Do you wait for a table, yes, sometimes. Does a server come along within 5 minutes, absolutely. Does your server remember what you are drinking? Absolutely. Does your server take your order AND bring your food? Yes. Does your server have to ask you what you ordered so that they can give you the right plate, not on your life! Do they interrupt you mid-bite to ask you if "everything tastes ok", well maybe, but generally, they simply bring more coffee, tea, or soda. The wait staff is generally observant and if you need something, you simply wave and they come right over at their first opportunity. New Restaurants, take a clue from old, revisit how you serve and the price of food. Servers will make or break you, so if you hired your kid and they are slackers, send them packing or they will kill the business. -

This is a brand-new restaurant in Arlington, located right near depot square.
And it's a very cute place -- kind of rustic and modern at the same time, made of warm wood with a nice open patio to sit under the country sky while you eat. There's also a place to sit at the bar inside and several tables.
The prices are pretty reasonable, and they serve a variety of what Yelp would call 'new' American food like creamy pasta dishes, Mahi-Mahi sandwiches, a great burger bar option (build your own), as well as grilled chicken, surf and turf, filet mignon, and soups and salads.
Try the grilled chicken platter. So juicy, and such a great place. A much-needed addition -- be sure to try to make a reservation if possible, the place is always packed to the gills. -

My husband and I really enjoy this restaurant. It's a little pricey for us so can't go as often as we like, but the food is great quality, good sized portions and unique menu options plus they have a full bar.
