Review from John T.

Homemade doughnuts and muffins, unlike the frozen crap you get at the chain shops.
My favorite is the sour cream doughnuts--they are in the front case with the muffins.
Stopped by and one of the customers was having his birthday there and so I was able to have a shot of whiskey and some bailey's in my coffee! It was quite lively in there, especially when the birthday boy unwrapped a sequined tube top.
You never know what you will see here, this is much more exciting than those shops that serve frozen doughnuts with a smirk instead of a smile! -

Small to medium sized, no thrills, but clean and comfortable place that serves hot fresh, full of body coffee (Kona, as they claim), and freshly made, tasty, diet-killing "doughnuts". They also have muffins, but the coffee and "doughnuts" rule here.
Okay, on this visit I didn't have any "doughnuts". But they sure look yummy! :=P
There's maybe six or seven tables with two chairs each. On each table is a GIANT coffee cup on a giant saucer. Looks like a 96 ounce cup. They must have been expecting me! :=P
From what Ive seen, you can call this store and place an order of freshly made "doughnuts". Several customers came here today to pick up boxes of "doughnuts".
Service was overall good, friendly, and businesslike. The guys who run this place seem to treat each customer equally.
One downside is that there didn't seem to be much of a choice of "doughnuts" to buy, though I wonder if they're trying to keep waste down, and focus more on the "made to order" concept. The chocolate frosted, cream filled "doughnuts" looked tempting. Next time I come here I'll have to make room for one! :=P
Another downside is the limited parking. Doesn't look like much parking in the front, though I believe there is additional parking in the back. Not that big of a deal, since most customers who come here get coffee and "doughnuts" to go!Listed in: Who's on 82?

Ah, finally found a doughnut shop time machine. Aroma, taste, and style taking me back to the doughnut shops of my childhood.
The accommodations: one long diner bar and a couple of tables. The kind of look you expect to see a bunch of farmers drinking coffee from old mugs with partially worn out names, and discussing the weather. Too wet or too dry, no in between.
The smells: Baked goods always smell fantastic, mixed with fresh coffee. Two flavors, leaded or unleaded.
The taste: Never frozen; Made that morning; Not smothered in frosting; Fillings not from a can; The cream filling is rich, buttery, and guilt provoking. Beat the pants off any supermarket brand (yah I'm talking to you Giant Eagle).
Very friendly service. I also like the pace of the area. About the time I roll into this shop, the town has not quit woken up yet (much like myself). Coffee full, sweet pastry at my lips, bring it world. -

My favorite place to go. Everyone is great and friendly. Muffins are amazing and the doughnuts are better than Dunkins.

I have read the other assessments. I agree with them. The Brecksville Doughnuts & Coffee Shoppe is a great place for donuts, muffins and coffee. The prices are very reasonable. The muffins are superior, if there are any left. Arrive early or you may be disappointed that the cupboard is close to bare, particularly on a Friday or Saturday.
