Review from Karen C.

The group of women that run this non-profit organization are AMAZING!
Thankfully, I was referred to BCC by my Reconstructive Surgeon a few years ago after being diagnosed. They coordinated information for me and gave me so much help and hope.
Well, after receiving their help, I offered my help in return.
I am now one of the "buddies" that offers hope and information to newly diagnosed patients. It gives me the opportunity to give back what I learned from them.
I'm so thankful for programs such as this and hope they continue for years to come! -

I don't think it's possible to see a bright site to a cancer diagnosis, but I am very thankful I came across the BCC Center and all the staff, volunteers, and free programs/events that helped me when I was first diagnosed more than a year ago.
The center helped me getting educated when I had no idea about the disease. It helped me with a sense of belonging when I felt inadequate everywhere else. It was and it is as comforting and supportive as it gets.
Special thanks to Jeanne Fournier and the Guided Healing Imagery group who enriches my life every other Wednesday! -

If you are dealing with a new diagnosis of breast cancer or a recurrence, this is the place to go for reliable, personalized information. The staff is wonderful and the volunteers have all the time you need to listen to your concerns and help you find the answers, or at least point you in the right direction, to find those answers for you.
The support groups are great as are all the other free programs of BCC. Check them out. -

Review from Pat P.

This grass roots community organization is one of the most professional ones around. With a Christmas eve diagnosis of breast cancer, I needed to talk to someone who had been there. The volunteer staff and director were absolutely without a doubt awesome! They helped me quickly learn the language and gave me suggestions as to what to consider and where to go. Their calendar of activities meshed perfectly with my treatment plan and I was able to do my homework up front ahead of my doctors' appointments. I cannot thank them enough!
