Breakthrough is amazing! All of the trainers are friendly and efficient. Even the owners (Suzanne & Tim) are fabulous and always say hello to me, check in how things are going, and definitely know me by name, etc. despite the fact that they are not my trainers.
I have seen great changes in my body since I started working out there and feel much more confident. Everyone there really truly wants to see their clients/members succeed. They are not just doing this to pay the bills, they really care and it shows.
Not only does BTF offer (amazing) strength training, they also offer several different classes (yoga, cardio) and can provide health/diet information. Other Super Slow gyms in the area only allow you to visit during your appointment yet you still have to pay a membership fee. BTF has open hours and they encourage you to drop in as much or as little as you like and when its convenient for you.
My trainer Cathy is outstanding!! She keeps me motivated and on track. I am easily bored with working out so she it great at keeping me focused and she changes things up to suit what I need/want.
I really just cannot say enough. I really suggest you check them out! -

Whatever your fitness goals, the professional trainers at Breakthrough will help you meet them with expert precision, maximum safety and a big smile. I've been going to Breakthrough since it opened, having been a FIT client before that. Breakthrough took was was great about FIT and magnified it many fold. The equipment is kept in top notch shape, there are the latest cardio machines, the environment is safe and friendly, and the SuperSlow weight training system can't be beat (though if you're a free-weight lover, you can do that, too). I'm over 50 and more fit than I've ever been due to the TLC I've received at Breakthrough.

I've been working out here for several years and Tim and the rest of the gang are absolutely tops. Knowledgeable trainers, reasonable prices, great location, well-maintained equipment...You can't go wrong with Breakthrough. This is definitely a quality experience and your time here will be efficient and focused.. it's not your typical gym experience replete with roid freaks, people jogging on treadmills watching CNN, and other such scenery.. At BTF you'll be training in a quiet environment that is conducive to focusing on your training and getting it done quickly and efficiently, which is exactly what I want.

Established in 2003
Breakthrough Fitness was established by owners Suzanne and Tim Rogers , with the help of many, in order to provide a comprehensive fitness and wellness center, emphasizing strength-training, massage therapy, chiropractic, Pilate's class and reformer work, and yoga classes. Everyone at Breakthrough is committed to members' superior well-being in a professional and relaxed setting. We feel that fitness and wellness are intertwined and that education of our members helps dispel exercise myths: we seek to make the novice just as comfortable and knowledgeable as seasoned exercise "pro's." We are a gym alternative, a studio that is free of mirrors and loud music. Our staff is just as proficient with beginners as we are with professional athletes and we create customized fitness programs for each individual.
Meet the Business Owner: Tim R.
Tim is a certified strength coach who specializes in Super Slow with over twenty years experience training clients. Tim believes in offering members state-of-the-art equipment, immaculate facilities that are free of loud music or mirrors in a comfortable environment. He believes in a balanced approach to fitness: Short intense workouts, 1-2 times per week, short cardiovascular workouts to build stamina, flexibility and core strength. Tim believes in a community of sharing within the fitness center, where members and coaches can share formulas for success and maintains a member resource check-out library of books, CD's and DVD's on fitness and health.
