Breakfast Room the

Don't go there expecting a sophisticated Sunday brunch and you will be happy.
It has the usual breakfast fare, eggs, pancakes, etc..
I went with a group of 7, we were seated right away, and the waitress didnt seem annoyed at all considering it was a busy Sunday morning. She came right over to us, poured coffee and took other drink orders, the food orders were taken quickly and all questions were answered. the food came out relativley quickly, and considering my family is picky and can be difficult, it was all correct.
The food was good, I personally got an omellete, with toast, and it was good, cooked perfectly and plenty of cheese. Everything else on the table looked okay as well.
The service was great all along, kept re-filling coffee and juices for us.
I'll be back next time Im on the cape!
Not bad, but only because of was horrid, dreadful, and awful. The scrambled eggs were dry and lifeless. I had no idea eggs could be prepared and served so carelessly. Had the cook or the server never eaten scrambled eggs before?
The bacon was zealously burnt as if the cook actually hated it. Only scads of butter saved the toast.
The dinning room would be described by the less observant as quaint. If that lets you finish you meal, look no closer at the unswept floor, fly carcass riddled window sills, or sticky table. Then will not shudder to think the condition of the kitchen.
The "God bless" on the way out the door is indeed unique, but regretfully may be required.
Just what a breakfast place should be: good food, cheap prices and a casual atmosphere. Our breakfast was a little slow in getting to us, but it was also busy. The hot chocolate was great and my french toast, although nothing special or fancy, was good. My husband's smores pancakes were incredibly sweet, overflowing with chocolate chips and marshmallows.
Definitely worth the stop on your way home from the Cape.
Not the best breakfast around, but it'll do in a pinch. The eggs weren't great, and neither were the pancakes.
