Great place! The food is authentic and the perfect comfort meal. They have all your traditional breakfast staples. We've been coming here for years now and it's a town favorite. Cute interior that is very much old school bar style where they cook in front of you. In the summer you can sit outside! Great time and great people.

Incredibly uncomfortable experience.
I was excited to eat here after hearing about his place from my boyfriend who came here 8 years ago. Coming from New York City to a smaller town. We would at least hope for a welcoming smile.
When we arrived, it was not busy. We figured a perfect time to eat 12:30pm. A young lady, and a young man were attending. Not a hello or welcoming face. Actually complete opposite. We smiles and asked if where we could sit. They did not even answer! Not even give us a menu.
So we asked if we could sit outside (was empty as well. To my shock, the man seemed upset by this request. Didn't even answer us, went outside , cleaned the table and still didn't t seem to want us there.
So we left.
Hungry, shocked, and disappointed.
I refuse to spend my money where I'm not welcome.
It's unfortunate. We had high hopes for this place.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 22521576912May 16, 2022
"When I was young it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle......"
I know. I know. Could I get more cliche than quoting a Supertramp song from the album that this diner is named after? I mean, I could talk about how my flight from Dallas was canceled and I had to take the long way home but I don't think you would be interested.
Forget the nonsense, this is a good place for breakfast. If you are a fan of slightly divey no-frills diners, this is the place for you. Those are my favorite places so I was quite happy.
Breakfast is simple and the coffee is self serve and plentiful. I recommend sitting at the bar for the full diner effect. I had a western omelet and hashbrowns. They didn't blow me away but I did see the corn beef hash and it looked amazing. The omelet was the better part of the meal and the fact that they had El Yucateca hot sauce made it even better.
Making matters even better was that the prices were reasonable. Reasonable prices in this area are hard to come by so make sure you eat here.Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Stephanie E.San Diego, CA02910Jan 5, 2024
My favorite breakfast place in the valley. I've had several items on their menu. The biscuits and gravy are amazing as well as their omelets. Everything is cooked fresh and you can watch them make it if you sit at the bar. Can't recommend them enough. Better get there early because it's always busy.

This place was great. If you sit at the counter, it's breakfast and a show. We had the Denver omelet and a build your own with spinach, mushrooms, onions and avocado. All the veggies were fresh and plentiful. Service was quick and efficient. The decor is basic, but who cares when the food is this good. Can't wait until tomorrow to try something new !

Breakfast in America is a no-frills mom-and-pop breakfast spot that gives you your bang for your buck. The prices are super affordable with plenty of entrees under $10, and the portion sizes are huge. The food is nothing fancy, but it is yummy comfort food that hits the spot.
My boyfriend and I came for breakfast, and we had the huevos rancheros and the corned beef hash. The staff and service are both efficient, and we got our food relatively quickly. We came in hungry but left very stuffed and with some leftovers.
Breakfast in America is the spot to go to for simple homemade food. Breakfast is the specialty, but there is a lunch menu as well. However, this is not the place for a late lunch - the restaurant closes at 1:50 P.M. everyday except Sunday in which they close an hour earlier. If you want a cheap and tasty meal, go to Breakfast in America. If you want a fancy meal, there are plenty of other options in the area.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Natalie F.CO, CO08Nov 3, 2023
This is a local joint, NOTHING fancy, very straight forward greasy spoon - kinda the last one in the area, and fun to visit for that reason. I sit at the bar and chat w my neighbor, sometimes the cooks. It's all good.

This is our absolute FAVORITE place to go for breakfast. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and the owner Dan is VERY kind and cares about his people and customers. The food is fresh, cooked right in front of you if you sit at the bar! They make everything in house and it's really evident in their flavor and quality. This place is EXCELLENT every time! Honestly this place needs more hype.
We love ordering the Migas and drinking the chai from the drink station.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
