Review from Caroline B.

This place has delicious food. Some of the most flavorful that I've had while in Heber, Midway or in any of the surrounding cities.
Heber's a tiny town...so too are the surrounding cities. Pickings are slim around here....but Breadstix would do well in any city.
We held a funeral in Midway and we hired Breadstix to provide our buffet. It was the most delicious buffet I have tasted at any family occasion in my life so far. I kid you not...utterly delicious
We stopped in at their main restaurant to settle our catering bill and to have lunch while on our way out of town. The restaurant is cozy, quaint, clean and comfortable. They have a flat screen t.v. up and a fireplace. They also have an expresso & cappuccino machine. Nice to see in Utah.
One nice plus for out of towners...this place has a liquor license. They stock a nice selection of beers....hey...nice by Utah standards anyway. They have a decent wine selection as well.
Our service at lunch was very good. Our waitress was courteous, kind, warm and efficient. Although the service they provided for our event was competent, the team working the buffet for our event was not particularly obliging.
The woman they sent to work our event seemed noticeably annoyed at me for having dared to ask them to maintain the buffet. Whether she realized it or not...I was one of the hosts actually paying for the party.
Now...I worked in restaurants & hotels for almost twenty years...believe me..I am acutely aware of the fact that one must never ever e v e r speak in an insulting manner to the persons who deal with your food. I'm not happy to tell you...I've witnessed things in restaurants over the years that would curl your hair.
I don't say this to in any way imply that they tampered with our food...not even remotely. I just say this to give you the picture...only a restaurant person would have asked them for service at the buffet with the amount of warmth & non-judgmental enthusiasm that I was careful to convey.
Had the service they provided for our event been better...I'd have cheerfully considered them worthy of a fifth star.
I spoke with their manager, Aimee, about this. She was a delight.
This restaurant and bakery is worth every cent for any item on their very reasonably priced menu. -

Good Stuff.
Food: 4.5 Good Stuff. last time had a great halibut dinner with a caper sauce. Had a good Stuffed chickens with cheese and Tommatos, but it was a little Dry. Love the breadsticks with the Balsomic vingurete...good salads too even the dinner salads...
Decor: 3 they did try real hard inseide but the the outside still does look like a dennys. inside the tables and chairs are really nice.
Staff: 5 yeah our salads where there right after we ordered! Staff put up sith silly questioning and did recomend 2 really good dishes...
this was my second time here, the dinner was even better than the lunch.
What NO MINTS! so close to a 5 it hurts. -

Nothing special.
The pasta was over-cooked, and the chicken was old and dry. Service was slow, and I think our server was having a bad day. -

Great find. My vet is in Heber and the staff there suggested this place. I love the attention to detail at Breadstix, the homemade breadsticks, scratch-baked goods are to die for, and the food I've ordered is fresh and delicious. Friendly servers, and great service. Always busy and worth the wait, if there's a line. Be sure to try the bars...

Sadly this is likely the best restaurant in Midway. I was all but impressed with the dinning facilities in the area. :(
I ordered a fettuccine alfredo style dish and was far from impressed. The pine nuts were a pleasant addition, but outside of that it was mediocre at best. My parents ordered breakfast dishes and my sister order a spinach salad. We also had a spinach and artichoke dip for an appetizer.
The spinach salad was likely the most impressive of the bunch, which included a delightful strawberry dressing. (she let me have a few bites)
The breakfast dishes, fettuccine and the spinach/artichoke dip were terribly greasy and I left feeling sluggish and gross afterward. You can get (and expect) better from almost any other well known Italian restaurant - such as The Olive Garden or, better yet, Macaroni Grill.
The decor was pleasant and provided a comfortable atmosphere. This was, by far, the highlight of the meal. The waiting staff were competent and courteous. They seemed quite young (of the 4 people I saw 3 were probably younger than 18) so it's tough to say what type of turn over they may get.
The price seemed reasonable for average food, which I wouldn't rate this food as being - therefore it was over-priced, in my opinion.
In conclusion, if you are stuck in Midway this is likely your best bet, but if you are just passing through wait until you get to Park City or Provo before stopping for grub.
