Wandered into Breadsoda on a Sunday afternoon looking around Glover Park. It's located a little south of Whole Foods in the basement of what looks like a corporate office building. Don't be fooled by the exterior though -- this place is excellent.
Grilled cheese and chips? Good beer? Free billiards in the afternoon?
Yes please. -

I was taken here on a recent visit, and I will say I like the idea. We went for a late lunch and we were the only customers in the place except for two people playing pool on the other side of the room. Here is what I know, there are pool tables, trivia nights, darts (I think), and other quirky events and games to keep evening fun, plus the happy hours are great deals.
I had the roast beef and blue cheese sandwich while my friends had the burgers. Of course we indulged in the fries. The quality of the meats on all of the meals was above average, and they were cooked just as we asked. I will say that the touch of crumbled blue cheese made my sandwich one I look forward to having again.
Now my concern. When the two people playing pool paired there tab up at the bar it became apparent that they did not speak much English, and we're tourists. I guess they did not tip, or tipped very little because the bartender said, "thanks for the f---en tip" and when the two men appeared confused, the bartender came around the bar and told them to "get the f--- out of my bar". We left shortly there after, and this left a terrible taste in my mouth for the place. I have not decided it this will prevent me from returning, but I am taking away stars for this review because of that. -

Bland food. Lackluster service. Too loud even for a pub. Crowd is the same as Town Hall ... Arrested development pretending they are still in their college frat days.
Not really interested in a return visit. -

I agree with some of the other reviews on the bar's identity crisis. It looks like a chill sports bar, but the patrons look like the children of the 1% who choose to be in the 99% because everyone gets a trophy these days. When we asked for darts, the bartender and the only guy sitting at the bar exchanged this look as if to say darts aren't ironic enough for them. And the bartenders could pick up the pace a bit. It was a lazy Sunday and I suppose it was my bad for asking them to do their job and all and pour me beers in exchange for currency.
I can look past all that when I'm drinking and playing bar games with friends. I even liked the sandwich and the sandwich choices. It reminded me somewhat of Star & Shamrock, although the sandwiches are smaller here. They have a great draft selection. The Miller Lite stands out and I guess they keep that for profiling purposes. The location is great for those in Glover Park, but it's not metro accessible unless you want to walk around the Naval Observatory. For those in the area it is a convenient choice for happy hour or laid back weekends. It good be better, it could be worse, it's ok as it is now. -
Review from Vivian H.
This place is different, and a good kind of different I think.
Besides the decent bar, it's got a menu of sandwiches and cheese boards, etc... definitely not your usual onion rings and chicken wings sorta joint. Although I did just want some bar food last night.
Want some activity to supplement your drinking/eating? They have sports on the big screens but also 3 pool tables, Wii, and shuffleboard. And I think some board games. Which is perfect because if I just wanted to drink, I could do that at home and not pay egregious amounts of money for a beer. -
Review from Justin L.
Not impressed. This bar has a serious identity crisis on its hands. Is it a trendy retro watering hole as the interior decorations would suggest? A pool hall? A sports bar? It's all of these things and yet does none particularly well. On top of that, the one bartender, a grim, bearded past his prime hipster in no hurry to help us, earned the place no additional points in the service department. The bar is certainly spacious, yet because of the three massive pool tables (surely at least one too many?) and the shuffle board table (complete with screaming participants) along with the din of the football game playing, the bar felt cramped and loud. This makes me hesitant to treat it as a neighborhood bar in the same way I would the TV and games-free Passenger bar, for example.
It's just too damn noisy here, and we never felt particularly welcome. The beer selection was pretty good, but not enough of a standout to have to deal with beard-o for a second round. -

Love this place. The bartenders are great and I like the atmosphere. They have a good drink menu and the food is decent. Love that we have the option to play pool, shuffle board, darts, or board games although we usually watch the games. It can get crowded later int he night but the bartenders are quick and attentive even with a crowd.

Didn't think I'd be a fan since it's ridiculously out of the way. But after a microecon final on which the entire class thought they'd made a 20, booze and games were a must.
I sucked down two St. Germains in the flashest of flashes: St. Germain, prosecco, lemon juice, and simple syrup is summer in a glass. Perfection. All I could ask was for them to be a bit stronger -- I still had recollections of the test after drinking them, which was not at all what I wanted.
The sandwiches, especially the grilled cheese with bacon, looked amazingly delicious. Not sure I'll go all the way out of my way just for BS, but it was a great couple of drinks and I'd recommend to those who live in the vicinity. -
Review from Marco A.
I've lived in Glover Park for a little over two years and Breadsoda and Bourbon are my two favorite neighborhood bars. A lot of Yelpers have complained that the location is out of the way, which is true, but it's also what makes Breadsoda cool. It has a real neighborhood vibe and the staff is very friendly. Once they get to know you, they'll frequently discount your bill. There is one negative worth mentioning, because Breadsoda is in Glover Park sometimes the crowd can be a little too Georgetownish and preppy but that's usually not the case.
Breadsoda is a spacious bar with two levels of outside patios for when the weather is nice, you'll never feel like you can't move around. They have a stellar draft and bottle beer selection. I just went to their Monday night "District Trivia" for the first time and it's a fun, well run event, I'll be back. It's also a great place to play games, they have pool, darts, shuffleboard, Wii and ping pong on Tuesdays.
Breadsoda is also a Deli, it's open for lunch and has a strong reputation. -

I really hope Breadsoda staff read this review. Since I can barely stomach the drunken frat boys crawling around most Glover Park bars, I love the hipper vibe of Breadsoda. Helps me justify spending $6 for a beer (Bells Two-Hearted on tap)! I've even had a couple nibbles here that were pretty decent. Definitely recommend the deviled eggs. It's really just the service earning this spot only three stars. Every where I look there's another bartender or server yet my pint glass is still empty. Look, I totally get the disheveled-hipster bartender look of shoving your portly body into skinny jeans and styling your hair with bacon grease (by the way, this place always smells like bacon. You'll definitely be followed by stray dogs when you leave). However, I may flirt with the idea of tipping you, so at least make eye contact with me.

Pretty cool and intimate bar and billiard setting, has a dart board and Wii Sports area and happy hour prices are good. The drinks contain a good amount of alcohol and the food is admirable. Overall a nice neighborhood hang out place....

The vast ocean of privileged yuppies, frat douches and good old boys that is Georgetown spills over into Glover Park and they dictate the climate of every single bar, restaurant, coffee shop, etc. in the area. However, there is a gleam of hope for those of us who don't fall into the above categories: Breadsoda.
I reluctantly moved to Glover Park and I instantly felt like an outsider at most of the bars I went to in the area (G&T, town hall, blah blah blah, yadda yadda). If you don't look like everyone else and have a sliver of individuality in the way you dress people look at you funny. But on a random Tuesday night my roommate and I went to Breadsoda. It was a lot more welcoming than the other establishments with lots of activities including pool, shuffleboard, wii, darts and ping pong. It's a cool place that attracts cool people in a not so cool area. Now I go there every Tuesday. They have a great beer selection, tasty tacos, good music and the bar staff is friendly. It seemed like I had finally found a place in Glover Park that wasn't obliterated by douchebag nation.
I tried going there on a Friday night once only to witness my beloved sanctuary infested with the aforementioned good old boys and yuppies I'm desperately trying to escape. In three words: vociferous, pretentious and obnoxious. I just got one beer and headed for the hills before I was infected. At least I have my Tuesday nights ... for now. -

Go for the shuffleboard, stay for the unique beer, and leave because of the hipsters.
I recommend going on a weekend to chill out with friends or starting your weekend night out with shuffleboard and then choosing which district to spend the rest of the night.
To say this place has a ton of game options is a stretch.....dive bar with a few more games scattered throughout than most places you will find in DC. -

Breadsoda's not exactly your destination bar. It's located far from any metro station. It's hardly the most convenient neighborhood (being Glover Park and all). So the good news is that you wouldn't have to worry about rowdy crowds, which makes Breadsoda the ideal neighborhood hangout. Haven't tried the food but they've got variety of beers among daughts, bottles, and cans. The best way to think about this place is as a big living room shared among friends. Wednesday nights are quieter. [Last Visit: October 2011]

Have your personal understanding of joy re-adjusted by their turkey club (turkey, bacon, avocado, derrrrrr...) If you like tacos, do the same by visiting on taco/ping-pong night (Tuesdays).
Pros: Great beer selection on tap, decent wine, knowledgeable bartenders, darts, billiards, ping pong, great pub/bar food (sandwiches, meat/cheese plates, tacos), decent staff, and great bartenders. Give their "dark and stormy" a try... Quality food and drink, at reasonable prices, in a cool and pleasant atmosphere. The musical tastes of the staff are excellent, though sometimes interesting... Best days to visit (IMHO): Sunday and Tuesday.
Cons: None so far... -

I dine here regularly for lunch, so don't really know what it is like as a bar at night. But for lunch, Breadsoda hits the mark. While the menu appears fairly "standard," every item I've had has always tasted fresh, portions are generous, and their homemade pickles (they have a clove flavor rather than garlic) are addicting. I am a particular fan of their fabulous veggie burger, and they offer fresh cut fruit as a substitute for chips. The BLT is also excellent (great bacon), and the chili is very spicy.
Service at lunch time can be a bit slow sometimes, but they are very friendly and I'm sure if I told them my time was limited, they would accommodate. When the weather is nice they have a few outdoor tables at the top of the stairs, but the atmosphere inside is very dark as there are no windows (it's below street level).
They have a pool and ping pong table, and shuffleboard. I've come here a few times for a quick drink after work and played ping pong...fun! -
Review from Kevin L.
Hot chocolate with -real- whipped cream (apparently whipped up by one of the owners himself that night!) and Kahlua and Bailey's? Now that's a friggin' kick-ass start to a good night at Breadsoda! Plus, there was really no better way to ward off the frosty biting wind whipping down Wisconsin.
I wasn't feeling hungry enough for an actual sandwich, which appears to be the bulk of the menu here. There's also a smattering of soups and salads. Instead, I went with a bowl of chili and in retrospect, that was probably the most perfect option I could have picked. A super filling bowl of this ideally spicy stuff topped with some melty cheese was just the thing to warm me up and get my nose beading up with sweat!
We happened in on a Tuesday and got to watch as the staff converted the pool tables into ping pong tables. I think it'd be fun to watch that go on, too, although the prices are a bit too rich for my blood. Hey, it's Glover Park. Folks who live there can afford it, right?Listed in: Glover Park Escapades!

Just like Digable Planets' 1993 hit single, Rebirth of Slick, Breadsoda is cool like that.
Laid back, diverse and hip without effort, I dig the vibe here. The space is dimly lit, with pool tables, dart boards and friendly bartenders. I was excited to see that they had a female DJ throwing down the beats, mostly mellow hip hop and funk. She was totally feelin' it.
I was starving when I arrived, so I quickly made my way over to the bar to order some grub. I've eaten here before and knew they have some awesome sandwiches. I ordered the the soup and sandwich combo with half of the Breadsoda Sandwich (lightly toasted pumpernickel, turkey, swiss, coleslaw, lettuce, tomato w/dijon mustard) and a bowl of chili.
The sandwich was awesome. Every bite was moan worthy and I was impressed to see half a sandwich that was almost the size of a full sandwich. The chili was pretty good as well, but nothing exceptional.
Will definitely come back again to make a night of it!Listed in: Glover Park - Georgetown's…

Wow. A sports bar for grown folk. What's even more shocking is that, now that I've been to Breadsoda, I'm realizing that (a) this concept was a long time coming; and (b) nobody else has done this.
Breadsoda is an upscale sports bar, replete with pool tables, shuffleboard and ample plasmas. However, it has excellent beer (e.g., Troeg's), pretty decent food and ample space. Yep, even during the NCAA Tourney on a Saturday night, we were able to find a seat at the bar. Nobody was hooting over their first beer, nobody spilled on me, I wasn't bumped into and no college kid tried to prove his masculinity by starting something with me.
What a concept. This is my go-to sports bar from here on out. -

I continue to love Breadsoda, for both lunch and happy hour. The sandwiches are always tasty, service is good, and I leave a happy camper.
The one problem I've found is their lack of snack food. For happy hour it would be nice to have some homemade pretzels or some kind of dip to munch on while I enjoy my beer out on the patio. Pickles just don't do it for me. That's my one and only gripe for this place.Listed in: Sammiches., Glover Park, Pink Elephants.

This place is located roughly two blocks from where I used to work and from the moment it opened it was a happy addition to my lunch spot options.
The sandwiches, made on the spot and accompanied by sides (pickles, red potato salad, decent coleslaw) are DELICIOUS. Joey Tribiani would approve. I highly recommend the grilled cheese sandwich with applewood smoked bacon and a side of avocado. Drool. However, you'd better have at least 15 minutes to wait for that sandwich and be prepared to check that your order is correct. Clearly sandwich 'art' does not come quick.
Drink options for lunch are great too, with a variety of fancy schmancy fizzy juices, odd flavor sodas, and mineral waters.
I've never come here after hours (who wants to head back to upper Georgetown when you already work there?) but they definitely have all the entertainment options for a good bar - pool table, outdoor area, Wii, darts, and a movie screen. -

It's BRAND spankin new. So new in fact that they didn't open yesterday because they didn't receive a delivery.
That said, the food around my office is not that great. The Korean owned deli in the building is a crying shame, so this is a welcome breath of fresh air. The people from my office think it's a bit too hip; loud music playing, pool tables, ping pong, juke box, Wii, and flat panel monitors on the walls. Coming from LA this place is very comfy for me. Plus the food is good.
Everyone has been raving about their sandwiches and salads. Some have complained about the length of time you have to wait, but come on the place has literally been open 4 days. They don't have all the details down yet. In a few months if they're still scrambling to get things done in an orderly fashion we will have a problem. Right now, it's fine and I feel like I'm a part of the process of helping them develop while watching the learning curve.
I have high hopes for the longevity of this place. I'm just happy to have a new lunch spot. -

BREADSODAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Went on a Saturday night; typical loud bar with girls wearing heels that they can never manage to really walk in. My friend said that she'd never been there on weekends and that usually it's really quiet.
I'll be back on a weekday to try the food and the hot chocolate. No more $5 for a watered down whiskey and coke (don't ask me why I didn't just get a beer). -

I work upstairs, so I've stopped down at Breadsoda a couple times after work for a beer and a sammich. I love the place. I'm getting to know some of the bartenders, and they're all really nice and if you dont know what kind of beer to get, they're helpful with the samples.
Their sandwiches are really good. I usually get the turkey which comes with some tasty chipotle mayo that gives it a little kick. And as a rule, I usually HATE coleslaw but theirs is awesome! Seriously, I think they lace the coleslaw with crack. Their chili is absolutely spectacular as well. My mom doesn't even make chili this good. A little bit of heat and a whole lot of flavor. I also love that they have a lot of imported beers on tap like new fave Gaffel and Delirium.
I also love that the atmosphere, from the basement-bar darkness to tattooed bartenders and waitstaff. Plus, darts, pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, Wii (whew)! It's such a nice change of pace from the buttoned-up prepness of the other Georgetown/Glover Park bars. Finally, a place in my neighborhood where I can fit in, tattoos and all!Listed in: Where to eat (or not) in my…, Game-Time Goods

Attended Hannah's UYE at Breadsoda and walked away with a fairly good vibe from the place. It's kind of like an upscale version of your collegetown bar. Decent food and drinks, friendly bartenders, a couple of pool tables, a dart board...
I can't speak as to the quality of the food since I didn't have any. But their Dark 'n Stormys were pretty good as were their beers (a little pricey for the setting though).
Breadsoda also gets points for having a few outside tables complete with heat lamps going for those that just want chill by themselves for a little bit.
All in all, probably a fun neighborhood joint. I wouldn't come here unless I was in the area (or for another UYE), but locals should certainly take advantage! -

3.5 Stars
Ive been to breadsoda a few times and I have learned that it's best to come before 9 if you want a table, but I guess that's pretty obvious. Also, if you want to get on the shuffle board table, be sure to give your name to the bartender, just going up to the people playing is meaningless. The prices for shuffle board are about average for places in the area, as are the prices for beer, drinks.
What is nice about this place is there tasty sandwiches, they use boars head meats. They have a great list of beers on tap, usually about 12 or so. In addition they have a nice cocktail list which includes Dark and Stormy's with goslings (the only way). They are only $7 each, which isn't bad.
Overall this place is a bit like the scene in G'town, which isn't my favorite, but if you hunker down on shuffle board, its a nice spot.Listed in: Frequent Bar Spots

I just need to update this. I must have been to breadsoda about 8000 times since the last review. I just want EVERYONE to go and try the veggie burger there. It is heavenly. My hubby is a HUGE carnivore so he wasn't convinced until I made him eat half my sandwich (ever the regret!) It is a warm veggie patty with some secret sauce, tomato, lettuce and served on a pillowy ciabatta roll. There is a photo of it I see there...
... actually, I think I am just going to put some clothes on and head down there for a sandwich RIGHT NOW. I take it back you see, I DO go to Breadsoda to EAT!!!Listed in: My fave bars in DC

With our newest Balance Gym location being right up the street, I can bet you, you'll probably now see me here at least once a week for lunch.
I have yet to check it out for "bar time" and have only stepped inside long enough to spot all the shuffle board tables, seating and room and to grab some menus.
What I can tell you is how much I love their food and their outdoor seating during the day hours. Big fan of their half sandwich/cup of soup for $6.95 deal. Their "half sandwiches" are no joke, they're basically a whole sandwich. I highly recommend the Moroccan Chicken Salad. It has just a little bit of spice and a lot of creaminess.
And for the soup, go with the Crab Soup! I think from now on I might even just start ordering bowls of this stuff. A little salty (which I love) and a whole lot of crab. They don't skimp at all, every bit is a mouthful of crab. -

With incredible sandwiches and endless activities, Breadsoda falls into the unique category of places I'm happy to go anytime, for any (or completely sans) reason. Breadsoda has the perflect atmospheric blend of chill space to chat and activities to keep peeps occupied.
The BLT, veggie sandwich and turkey sandwich (add bacon- you can thank me later) complete my trifecta of menu choices at this always happening and happy watering hole. With shuffleboard, billiards, darts and Wii as activity options, merriment-seekers never tire here. I'm also a huge fan of the owner/manager who is around almost every time I'm there, regardless of the time or day of the week. Very friendly, chatty and not in a creepy or trying-to-get-a-tip way.
Normally I like a bar where I can cut up a rug if I feel so inclined, but at Breadsoda, I'm always having so much fun acquiring a new case of Wii tennis elbow that the thought of a dancefloor never crosses my mind. This is the perfect place to grab a bite, meet a friend for a drink or rally a crowd for a fierce shuffleboard-off. -

If you've ever wondered to yourself "Why would I go hang out in Glover Park?", this place might be a suitable answer to that question.
For one, you can go in on a Saturday night, like last night, and not have people squeezing by you every ten seconds like you know they would be at Bar Pilar or St. Ex. There are 3 or 4 pool tables, darts, and shuffleboard, but the place is nice and spacious. It's easy to make your way to the bar and easy to get a drink from one of the smartly tattooed barkeeps who are kinda hipstery, you might say, but who cares? Hipster-hating is pretty boring at this point. And besides, they're kind of friendly.
The people who come here can be a strange mix. I mean, it is near Georgetown, so you can get some of that. Pretty sure I saw a group of east coast republicans last time I was there. But for the most part, the patrons seem to be typical NW DCers.
The beer list is on the small side, but good. The food is yummy and distinct enough to make you forget it's bar food. Oh, and don't miss taco Tuesdays.
Oh yeah, and seeing Tara L's review made me remember that they did have a DJ who played lots of old-school hip hop which I'm a total sucker for. Not a sucka MC, you understand! Just saying I liked it. -

I really like it here :)
- Decor. This place is the basement of the jerk in high school that you hung out with only because his dad was really cool and had a pool table and a bar and dart boards. But back in high school, that jerk didn't have a Wii. This place does. Although the price to play that is too expensive in my opinion, I played darts here for my first time and had a jolly time.
- Outdoor area. Although the patio has no glamorous view by any means, it's as good as an underground location can give its customers. Also, with the seating, heaters, and a few plants, it seems as though they did as good of a job as they could.
- Food. Sure it's only sandwiches, but they're decent and decently priced and I think of this place primarily as a bar so I won't complain.
- The bartenders. None of them are overly friendly by any means but they just seem like they really want to make customers happy. I've seen them have detailed discussions about which types of whine or whiskey a customer would prefer and offered samples, etc. And one time when I was sipping on some shirley temples (it was a school night), one bartender filled up a whole lil glass full of maraschino cherries for me. Not that it's a huge deal considering how cheap those lil sugar treats are, but I thought it was a thoughtful touch.
During the week it's pretty empty but nonetheless very enjoyable. Weekends can get supercrowded but still not hard to find some space to comfortably talk.
Location warning : I live within walking distance and love going here. But the lack of metro anywhere remotely near here would probably hinder me from going if I didn't live so close.Listed in: Where I Always End Up. For…

Great chili, great grilled cheese and bacon sandwich, and a heavenly reuben. Yes, I get here for the food, but also for the games.
Several times, at the start of my Glover Park night of mayhem tour, I would stop in to get a sandwich and possibly shoot pool or Wii while waiting for friends to catch up from work or other locations. The venue never seems to lose its entertainment value and is certainly worth a stop if not your entire night.
Some of the other games that I remember are shuffleboard, darts, and well...I can't remember the rest. But stop by and see it for yourself! -

Walked in off the street on Wednesday for Karaoke and Nachos. After shilling out $6 for a decent beer (Commodore Perry's Great Lakes IPA; Iunno, I'd never tried it and it was cheaper than anything else and it wasn't PBR), the friends and I decided to waive our rights to nachos, and just enjoy ourselves.
There was a definite problem with the karaoke machine, which was unfortunate. I'm no 75 year old, but the constant volume changes and abrupt song ends and starts was filthy irritating. I'd like to come back and see what everything is all about on night where everything is working properly.
The wait staff were quick and nice enough; nothing to write home to mom about, but nothing to get your panties all knotted up about either.
The clientele, at least on Wednesday, seems to be mid-30s yuppies. If there's anything I hate more than nazis and hipsters, its yuppies. Definitely not people I felt like I should be hanging around -- I'm too poor and don't do coke, what can I say, it's an issue.
A nice little sports bar, but its fancy and expensive and doesn't seem to have much of a soul. -
Review from Kate R.
oh breadsoda you are SO inconvenient to get to. the pingpong and taco tuesday is a big hit though. bartenders are nice, beer selections is decent (bring back amstel light!) and the food is pretty standard mega kudos for the veggie options.
perhaps it's location but the clientele is sort of douchie, esp on the weekends. it's pretty chill weekday and whenever our friend lulu hosts a party/get together it's surely going to be at breadsoda seeing as it's a stone's throw from her condo.
so overall. good bartenders. fun things to do inside. cool ambiance. veggie options. outdoor seating. are great.
and it's great to really understand "this is what it would have been like had 1. been a boy 2. gone to radford university and 3. joined a frat" feeling. -

The four stars are based on potential, as this place is only officially opening tonight. I had a chance to check it out during the open house last weekend, and I'll give another review after I've had the chance to check it out a bit more.
But on first glance, this is a welcome addition to Glover Park. The basement bar (in the space formerly occupied by My Bakery) features a pool table, ping-pong table, shuffleboard table, darts and a Wii setup in the far corner. There are about 10 beers on tap, most imported. The bartender said the plan is to rotate about half of the taps each month, to keep the selection fresh. They'll also have food, although I didn't get a chance to sample any.
What breadsoda appears to be able to provide is a more neighborhood feel than the owners' other Glover Park bar, Bourbon. The thing that will decide how I ultimately feel about breadsoda is the crowd - the space is too small for the hordes of Georgetown types that pack Bourbon and Town Hall on the weekends. This bar may be best on weeknights, when the crowds should be smaller and there'll be room to play on the game tables. -

This is a very welcome addition to the Glover Park lunch scene. I work in the area and have been depressed with the lack of good places for a quick bite. Great sandwiches - they have a good selection and prices are reasonable - and nice outdoor seating area perfect for the summer.
It's brand new and still has a few kinks to work out, but this place has great potential. They're working on hiring a waitress for lunch, which will help, but I will definitely go back, and am hoping to try it out for a happy hour sometime soon. -

I went there for the first time recently after running into a friend down the street. There is a decent amount of outdoor seating, couldn't tell you about the inside because we sat outside.
The happy hour selection was a bit disappointing, with a handful of beers on there for $4. I tried the Viking Lager, which was very crisp and refreshing.
The food menu had enough variety that most should be satisfied with their options. The turkey sandwich (with an addition of avocado for $1.50) was delicious. It had the usual assortment of fixings, but the chipotle mayonnaise really brought it to a new level, along with the cibatta bread it was served on. Our server was friendly and frequently checked up on us for more drinks.
Overall a great experience, my only complaint being the limited happy hour options, and the fact that they charge $4 for a PBR. I mean really, it's a PBR. -

I love this place - it's chill, lots of space, food is good, great prices, pool and other casually competitive games, and good service.

Dear Breadsoda,
I love you.

Honestly, this is the best bar I've been to around glover park/georgetown. At least according to my bar preferences. I played pool here with my friend the other day for 4 hours when the bar was dead. By the end of our day the owner was having shots with us on the house and just having a good chat. That's what I call a friendly atmosphere!
Pool, shuffleboard, ping pong, taco's, great sandwiches, great music....you can't beat it
NOTE: this review is NOT, I repeat, NOT for friday and saturday night. It's become a hot mess of frat-tastic-ness and becomes a typical georgetown bar on these nights.
