I have eaten here several times for Sunday brunch. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Everyone is always so friendly and nice. Get there early to get a good seat as they only have seating for about 30. I always get the poached eggs with hash, its awesome and homemade. My gf has gotten the blueberry pancakes with cream cheese spread and cinnamon French toast with nutella. She loves both equally and has a hard time deciding every time we go.

This is a great little shop for breakfast, you have to try to baked oatmeal with the peach topping - its worth getting out of bed for!
I am glad to see this place in midtown, I hope Shana never moves. My husband tells me the coffee is tasty, and I can vouch for the tea, served in beautiful cups and teapots.
Breads n Spreads is especially great if there are just a few people in your party. I took a large group there recently and seating was tight and it took a couple of tries to get our food order right, but it was all done with a smile a great customer service. Definitely stop in! -

A great surprise on Third Street (near the HACC Midtown Campus). Very cute interior and the food is always a treat. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I have heard it is excellent.

Addorable place yet, Owner was unwelcoming, didnt greet us or inform us that she only serves customer she likes or knows. So if u really wanna waste ur.money on overpriced food ull have order at counter.
So we wait @ table, watch her serve a family and wait for 10 mint. Then in cums another customer they walk to the counter" order" n sit at table with a coffee. Ah well we figure it out; order at counter, no service for us type folk.
Vegi egg wrap, 6.50..well if this was a colossal disapointment. Youll be shocked to read later about my freinds breakfest.
This "" Vegi""egg wrap had lettece n tomatoe. Yup this Sorry Two vegi dosnt make it a vegi egg wrap, thats a a egg sandwich. It was bland, n unfilling and 6.50 for that n toast. Bull$h!t
Next my freind orders a choc.chip pancake. Thinking that there normal size n not sand-dollars cuz didnt say that on the menu she orders one. Welp she not only got 1 small sized pancake it didnt have choc.chips n she had pay full price. Bull$h!t.
18.00 for breaky not buffet style is as bad as ,murder.
Give ur money to the bums if u really must waste money. -

Fun little place. Fresh food and good service. It has a neat simple little atmosphere and the food is always so tasty. Prices are fine and the people are super friendly. I walked here a few blocks from my place on Sunday morning for some breakfast and got an egg sandwich and was pleased to see it came with some fruit. I wasn't super blown away by the food, but it was still tasty. It also takes a bit for the food, come out, but that's worth it. Try this place out!

I love this little gem. I'd give it 5-stars, but the service is consistently bad and the ordering process is bizzare. The food is super-yummy and it is a great place to have Sunday brunch. I would skip the pancakes (taste like they come from a box) and have any of thier yummy homemade bread (zucchini and bananna are my daughter's favs) or their to-die-for baked oatmeal with peaches. The egg options are also good. I would note that they only have one high-chair, which can definitely be a problem in this family-freindly place. Also, the coffee is great, but you have to use cream and sugar at the side-station like in starbucks.

Delicious fresh sandwiches and great coffee here! Everything is fresh and they clearly care about the quality. Great location in the 'up and coming' 3rd St midtown neighborhood, it's a very cool place to hang out. If I were to give them one suggestion, the uninviting and uncomfortable folding chairs need to go. I know chairs are expensive, but maybe a flea market discounted mis-match of chairs would work better. But that will not keep me away because this place is great!!

Great food! Surprisingly good coffee. The atmosphere is nice, but the folding chairs and card tables have GOT to go...they really take away from the charming ambience of the place. Service is great. A really nice place to relax on a rainy day...last time I grabbed a MODE magazine and sat down with a grilled cheese and tomato bisque soup (both AMAZING), and it was perfect.

Great spot in Midtown, definitely check them out for all your delicious soup and sandwich needs. I tried the rice and asparagus soup as well as the roast beef sandwich with curry sauce - wow! Both were extremely good, I will definitely be back and so should you !

As if the world's greatest toffee brownies, consistently powerful, mellow coffee and a great vibe were not enough, Breads n Spreads is now serving a wonderful Sunday brunch until 4pm. The tiny side courtyard is home to a few tables set among flowering begonias and makes a great place for a lazy tete a tete over the Sunday paper. Bloody Mary mix and OJ are available, so bring along a split of champagne and indulge in a mimosa with your cinnamon French toast, eggs in bacon rings, or ab fab breakfast sandwich: pineapple spread, ham, egg and cheese on a buttery croissant. Shana sets a fine table, welcomes you warmly, and spreads her love of Midtown. See you there next Sunday!

I wasn't too sure about this place, if you weren't looking for it, you probably would have missed it. Good thing I was looking for it! I had a simple breakfast here; coffee and an egg sandwich. I'm not considered a coffee snob, but I must say the coffee was amazing. The egg sandwich consisted of two fried eggs with ham and a pineapple spread, which to my pleasure, was a very welcomed surprise.
