CARLA. You neeeeeed to see Carla if you're at this location. She is just the absolute nicest, best, quickest, most thorough, most apologetic and gentle person in the building. I had to see someone else one time, and while she did a fine job, she's no Carla.
Bare bones, bare bottoms... this place has no shame. Fine by me! You keep charging $35, and I'll keep shuffling my hairy Mexican self in every 5 weeks.
So... am I the only person who has noticed the Christian music in the background while I'm getting voluntarily tortured? And the "Atlanta is for Christ" sticker on the door? It's always such a strange combination. Maybe I'm the only person who finds this a little funny. "Get saved while we give you a stripperiffic lack of body hair!"
I'm done. Go here. They're great. -

So, the thought of having someone so up in my lady bits without an MD. behind their name with hot wax in hand has always scared the bejjebuzz out of me. But I'm so glad that my nerves didn't get the best of me when I booked my first virgin waxing experience! The process was relatively painless, quick and affordable. I can't remember the name of the woman I went to but shes the blonde Ukrainian who immigrated here in the 90's ( yep, the things you learn whilst on your stomach and separating your...) Yep I'm definitely a fan and will be returning!

So, I ventured out here when I found out that this place was open. I just had to get out.... I had the worst cabin fever. Anyway I decided to go with the full on Brazilian.
The room itself where is done is plain, it had the raised mat or table where all the ripping takes place, a big chair, and their supply table. The lady that did me let me in and let me get stripped form the waist down... they didn't have the little cotton bikini wax undies that I am used to when I get a Brazilian, which I thought was odd, but whatever.
The lady came in and really went to business, she applied the wax without any strips or anything and let it harden and just went on a ripping spree. Ohh man!! That was painful, but the pain just last a few seconds. I just wish I had take a couple of ibuprofen. She was quick and efficient throughout the ordeal. If she knew you were in pain she would stop for a second and apologize and just continue... rather comical when looking back since I was paying her to do this for me.
Either way, this lady was speedy and professional throughout, she even went over with tweezers on parts where the wax missed.
Overall, I was very happy with the results and with the price $35 plus tip is not bad as I have paid wayyy more for something like this and it had taken twice the time. I'll def be back!!

I don't really have anything to add to what everyone else has already said-nothing fancy happening here, but they do a great job and they do it fast! The fact that it costs about half as much as most places makes it even better.
Yes, it hurts while it is happening-but by the time you are back in your car, it is all just a painful memory and you are left being silky smooth :)
Also, I have to say my eyebrows have never looked better! -

It took me a while to get myself up to write this review. Why? Because getting yourself waxed is not fun! There is nothing warm & fuzzy about it. I don't have much to compare it to, the whole experience is painful! So, I have to make sure to remind myself to go back to how I felt the service was, the value, and the overall ambiance.
So, you get there, they ask if you have a preferred person. Nah, they're all gonna cause me pain, gimme who you got. Each time, I ended up with Lucy - gimme the works, Luce, full body! If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it! Takes you into a room, tells you to strip down completely , be back shortly. I swear, I don't know how they do it. Your significant other, doctor, even YOU don't get to see your body up close and personal like these people do. Like others have said, they don't use strips, they just lay on hot wax, let it harden, then let it RIP. They will apply pressure to the injured spot for a few moments after they are done and you honestly don't even recall that they hurt you a mere 5 seconds previous.
The walls are thin. You can hear other folks whining, crying, talking about a friend who tried to give herself a wax that failed big time and is too embarassed to come back...
After going through it all, you almost feel as if someone should have a room where they give you a hug or something.
The full body is $70. That includes legs, arms, special parts (front & back). I've seen some places charge that much just for one calf of your leg.Listed in: My Neighborhood

I am a licensed esthetician and trained in waxing...to those who have posted about Andreia's not using cloth strips...they use what is called a "hard" wax...it is especially designed for "delicate" areas and cannot be used with cloth strips. It is used for bikinis and brazilians because hard wax, unlike the wax you use with strips, only sticks to hair...NOT to skin. Therefore it is much, much safer for those areas. You should never use the kind of wax used with strips on that part of your body unless it is being done by someone with years of experience (and I still wouldnt reccommend it). Hard wax will not rip the skin and you have less breakage and ingrown hairs. I love Andreia's and the only reason I didnt give 5 stars was because of the lack of privacy in their rooms that might bother some people (let's face it, the rooms are private, but you are partially or fully unclothed and they have to open the door to come in - altho they have slipping into the room quickly down pat and you aren't ever really exposed, plus- the thin walls where you can hear all going on next door, etc.) . But if this is the price in order for them to keep their fees extremely low (they have been the same for ages), then so be it!! There is a definite art and a LOT of skill involved...and that they have in abundance!! I have heard rumors from other yelpers that Andreia's re-uses wax...I have not found that to be true and I am fanatical about sanitation and cross-contamination. However, it is definitely NO FRILLS...if you go expecting to be pampered and to have a spa-like atmosphere, you will be disappointed. No robes, no paper panties, no paper sheet...If you just want your waxing done quickly, efficiently, and by well-trained people, you'll be pleased. If you want a spa experience, pay three or four times as much and go elsewhere!

5 stars, hands down.
I stopped by on my visit to GA last week, and Brazilean Wax by Andreia is still without a doubt the best wax ever.
Their staff is incredibly friendly, the prices are reasonable, and this last wax was the least painful I've ever experienced...

Edna has done it again!!! I went in today for my monthly wax and I was in a bit of a hurry on my break and within 20min I was in and out with a perfect wax. I'm smooth as a baby's bottom and the price is still the same $35, can't beat that!

I've been to the location at 1230 Powers Ferry in Marietta, and I liked it. On Saturdays they don't take appointments, it on a walk-in basis. It's super affordable as well. Be warned: the Brazilian wax technique is different-- they don't use the cloth strips, they just pull that wax right off, and there won't be any friendly warning (but they are friendly people). I knew before going that it would be a little bare bones in terms of the set up and decor, and it's true and also the quality of the service isn't always consistent. I have been with three ladies, and two have been excellent and one was so rushed she didn't do a very good job. But I went back anyway b/c you can't beat the price. Don't expect a lot of conversation, unless you know some Spanish or Portuguese.

My experience was not as rosy as most-- could be because I have been once and only once. I think that it may be my last time unless I walk in super toasted on Jose Cuervo. Anyways-- the lady I got was nice enough I suppose (I don't remember her name). All I know is that she did not stop when I started screaming bloody murder. She also did not stop when I almost clawed her eyes out. She just didn't stop. Not her fault though, I suppose. She was just doin' her job like so many of us try to each day. Anyways.. I'm not sure how helpful this review will be, seeing as though I am not a waxing connoisseur. Just my 2 cents. Or fifty bucks.
