I really liked this place and for $35, I was not going to complain.

My waxer was very sweet and took her time because I hadn't had a waxing in awhile.  I had been shaving instead and decided it was time to rip everything off.  She talked to me during the entire session and made me feel comfortable.  It was well worth the drive.  Will be coming back!

    "OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!"

Yeah, that's definitely what I said - out loud, this time. Actually, multiple times. Seriously- I yelled.

Oh. My. God. So painful. See my review for Woo and note it wasn't *that* long ago that I got waxed but Holy Cow was it brutal today.

I've got really sensitive skin so I'm only docking a star (and $25 is a better price than the more expensive version at Woo) - but sheesh it was painful. And no, I'm not about to have my period (she asked, as apparently that is a more *sensitive* time to get it done) and no, I don't think the advil pre-session would have made a difference (tequila, maybe?).

Good results, so pain worth it in that sense . . . but I think I'll be paying for my aesthetic needs elsewehere in the future . . .

When I first starting getting brazilian waxes, this is where I went. You can get a walk-in at a decent time, just as long as its not peak hours like friday or something.
but Now i've matured a little and prefer to go elsewhere.
Because even if you make an appointment you might wait, and even as a walkin they'll take you but you might wait for 30-45 min or even an hour one time!
The price is good, but a lot of other places have started to come down to the same price. Some of the girls are nice, but some are just inexperienced.
Recently they put out waters and wine to make it more bearable.
Parking is in front or behind. The waiting room smells like wax and can get awkward and packed out.
I don't go here any more, thats all I have to say.

My girlfriend refered me to this place because of the great experience she received at the lawrenceville location. So i thought i would give it a try.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                My waxer was very sweet and by this being my first waxing ever; i thought that everything went well until i got home! i dicovered that i still had hair that was not removed 5/26/12. Now I'm disappointed

I'm not picky about waxing, but this place is awful. I expected low-budget, but I did not expect wax stuck to the walls, dixie cups filled with wax  to avoid needing multiple spreading sticks, and the worst wax ever.

I had called the day before and was told I didn't need an appointment. When I got there, the receptionist said someone would be with me in just a second. Ten min later, I inquired as to how much longer it would be. After multiple promptings, she finally went back and located someone. If only I had left then.

The woman (Magda? Magdis?) used four-inch-wide strips of wax---WAY too big. This meant that instead of one motion, she decided it would be a good idea to rip them up slowly by the half-inch. Not only did this hurt more than usual, it made my skin super red.  I asked her to make them smaller and she refused. I almost got up halfway through--I've waxed at home, and I can do a better job than that!

She also refused to chat with me, which really helps distract from the pain, and used NO pre-or-post skin treatment. She kept rubbing my just-waxed skin with her latex gloves, and that friction was awful.

I wanted to warn the others in the waiting room to go to Sweet Samba or Lady Bee.

The VERY best part? It grew back in less than a week (usually mine last about two weeks).

The price is great, I'm not going to complain one bit! I did however think the facilities were a little lacking and needed a face lift.  You're not going to get that one with the cosmos, serene, hoighty toighty spa feeling when you walk in the door. KNOW THAT! What you will get is a young woman who is very polite, upbeat, helpful and ready to get busy on your bajango.

I had Larissa and she got the job done quickly and somewhat painlessly.  Rather then taking that one special area bit by tiny bit and prolonging the suffering she managed to tame it in two broad swoops... or rips. Im not going to lie, I did give a shout out to Yelp at one point in the appt.  But Larissa made it short and sweet.  She is meticulous on the clean up too! She used strips in some places and tweezers in others. I think there's nothing like the first time you get your eagle on, its so smooth and soft with  no growing cycle to contend with. Well, this was the fastest and the closest I've come to that first time waxed feeling.

Other was with me and he was surprised that it was over so quickly.  He's definitely a fan!

    I will be back!!

I've been here many times and received good service for a cheap price. It's a little dirty looking and they should hire a maid, but I've never really had a complaint.

However the most recent time I went instead of having a Brazilian woman do my wax, it was an American woman named Christy who was very rude, was clearly inexperienced, inefficient and did not finish the job. Every other time I've come here the woman doing my wax has been pleasant, done a good job and was skilled. This was a terrible and painful experience and I would recommend that anyone looking to go here requests that they do not have Christy Gould do their wax, because she was very unpleasant and it was the worst wax I've ever had.

Otherwise Brazilian Wax by Andreia is affordable and efficient, with one exception, pleasant and skilled women work there.

You can't beat their $35 special. I've been coming here now for more than two years. All of the women who work here are wonderful. My favorite waving specialists are Dayse, Sandra, Gabby, Anna and Larissa but honestly anyone you get here is fabulous.

My favorite story to tell about this place is how Sandra found my engagement diamond! It was March 2010, I'd come in for my usual then left to run some errands. I came home and Kevin P. looked down at my hand and gasped "where is your diamond!" I glanced at my hand and saw the band, the prongs but no stone!

I left our loft and immediately got back in the car, driving all over Buckhead retracing my footsteps. The first place I went to was Andreia's. Alas they hadn't seen it. I continued my search yet could not find the diamond.

I pulled back to our condo, downtrodden, when my cell rang. It was Andreia: "GIRL! WE FOUND IT! WE PRAYED TO SAN ANTONIO AND HE FOUND IT!" My diamond had popped out while I was sitting on the couch and Sandra found it under the coushins. When I came back to the shop, the ladies were waiting for me with a champagne toast! We popped the bubbly to celebrate finding the diamond. Needless to say, Andreia has my business for life.

In one sentence: you get what you pay for. You can't beat $35 for a brazillian which is why I keep coming back but I can't say I always get the best waxes. I've had experiences where I've been scalded horribly, times when there are still wax and hair everywhere, and times when I'm fairly happy (I say that relatively).

I've had Sandra several times and she's always been more about quantity over quality (it's my own fault it took me so long to learn her name in order to anti-request). The last time I had her she covered my entire nether region with wax and pulled it all off at once (vs. strips/areas at a time). Then gave me the classic excuse that it only hurt because I waited so long to get waxed again. While this was the first time she's ever performed this "method," she hasn't been thorough at all in past times and always seems to be in a hurry to move on to the next customer.

Other than that, most of the other girls I've had have been ok to great. Dayse has been my favorite thus far!

Came here for my first ever brazilian! I didn't think I'd be sharing my waxing experience on yelp, but hey.. these other chicks shared their stories so why not? Before going to Andreia's I read some of the reviews at all of the locations and I was pretty darn terrified. Most said it hurt like a betchh and you can hear girls screaming in the other rooms while they're getting their wax on. I even looked on youtube to get the general idea of the pain I was about to endure.-- fyi: they do not show the private area on youtube.  However, mine was nothing like that. I came during the weekday around 2-ish and there was barely customers there. I got there an hour early so they were able to take me.

Now lemme just explain how utterly embarassed and nervous I was. The lady led me to a small white room and told me to take off my pants and underwear, then to lay on a bed with my legs towards the door. After I do as I'm told, I'm laying there with my legs crisscrossed giggling cause it felt too awkward. What if some random stranger opened the door and the first thing they saw was my china?! bahahah too funny. It made me feel a lot less uncomfortable when she told me that men get brazilians too! wow, so they really have seen it all.

The actual waxing was surprisingly fast. And let me tell you, it does not hurt that bad. After the first two pulls of wax off the skin and some minor curse words, I got used to it. I think the actual hotness of the hardwax sucked out most of my pain. At least for me, the hot temperature of the wax hurt more than the wax pulling. Also, one good thing that the lady did is at the end, she plucked off some hair she missed with a good 'ole fashion tweezer. Overall, it turned out lovely.

I'm a fully waxed chick in my nether regions and was running behind schedule due to traveling for work over the last four weeks. After realizing I would have much more time on my hands, during this latest trip, than what was expected, I decided to find a local salon to take care of my waxing needs.

After searching on my number one choice for all things local when traveling (http://www.yelp.com), I located a wax shop that offered body waxing services. I was very excited to see they were offering Brazilian waxing for $35! I mean, I pay $50 in Denver for a Level I Cerologist to wax me. When I looked at their price list, I realized I could get my cooch, butt crack, and underarms done for $50 or full body for $65 versus the over $70 I would normally pay for just a full Brazilian and my underarms, though, my price back home has the tip already included versus this place where tipping is expected as an addition to the price. Oh well. Yippee!

Well, let me tell you. Though, the experience wasn't a bad one, you really do get what you pay for. Brazilian Wax by Andreia is full of Brazilian chicks waiting to wax that ass.

There was no complimentary mini fridge full of beverages or bowls full of LifeSaver Mints. There was no hand towels offered to cover your sections after you disrobed. There was no talcum powder to absorb any moisture or cool your parts. There was no idle chat to help ease any discomfort you may experience through the process. There was no Tender Skin applied to your areas after the waxing was completed.

Additionally, the wax is just smeared on in big sections and ripped off like Velcro. Luckily, I get waxed regularly so I don't grow a lot of hair and the hair that does grow is finer so it wasn't a big deal but ... sheesh.

The main instance that made it clear that I am dealing with a special and attentive group of women back home at my waxing salon is when the Brazilian cerologist got my piercing caught up in the wax ... not once but Twice. In Denver, I have never had any issue with wax even touching my ring. The cerologist attempted to get it unstuck both times which involved a painful pinching and a visual warning of violence if it happened again. Thereafter, she didn't get it stuck in the wax but she did get wax on it and decided to just let me know that so that I could take care of it afterwards. She may not be aware of it but that was probably the smartest decision she made today. *woosah*

After we were done, she left me to myself to check out the work and get dressed. I grabbed the mirror to, mainly, check out the damage to my ring. Upon looking at myself to remove the wax from my ring, I started to notice what should not have been noticeable ... like a long hair coated in wax but still remaining on my delicious lips OR dry wax still hanging around various areas of my thigh crease, buttock, and groin area OR shorter individual hairs around areas that were waxed but not thoroughly plucked. With that said, I sat in there for a few minutes putting the finishing touches on my taco myself. *sigh*

The price is definitely one to keep you coming back for more (more pain that is, damn lol!) This is the only place that I've found so far that's not trying to make you go broke from getting a regular "wax job". $35 is their price and it's not changing!

In and out! That's been my experience so far and hopefully it will last. This is an in and out experience that I haven't made an appointment for, this is walk-ins I'm talking about.

The staff is friendly and the technicians I've tried all seem to be patient (except for one) and know how to relax you. The reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because of that one chick that just ruined it for everyone else. She was very impatient and I felt she just wanted to rush it and get it over with. Listen, no matter how many times a women gets a Brazilian Wax, there is going to be some level of pain involved with each visit. Damn, if I want to take my time and pause between each rip then I should be allowed to! And if you don't experience pain, please inform me on what the heck it is you are doing, lol. Oh, I have heard that if you take a couple of Tylenol's before your visit it should ease the pain a bit. I've never tried it so I can't speak on that.

They do offer a whole list of other services but this is the only service I use them for and will continue to go back because they do a fabulous job.

I saw Andreia for the first time during the ATL snow storm.  Andreia was fast and courteous and talks you through the whole thing.  I used to get waxing done at my old place in FL, and this was even better.  I feel like I can be seen at almost any time.  Great price, and hopefully Andreia will be able to accommodate me throughout pregnancy.

The only reason I am not giving 5/5 stars is because a gentleman said they would be there in five minutes and it actually took about 20.  I am totally nitpicking here because everything else was perfect.  However, if you are used to salons they always tell you 5 minutes when it is actually 15 or 20 when they are dealing with walk ins so I should be used to it.  Thumbs up from me all around.

Based on some of the reviews here, I was expecting this to be the waxing version of the Steinmart dressing room crossed with some sort of dungeon. Nah. No way. Private rooms, complete with doors. Pleasant, if minimal decor and all that.

Bless the soul of the woman who did my wax today. Brazilian on some old growth forest - I've been holding out for a good option since my waxer moved to Chicago. She did a Brazilian, a full leg and my underarms in about an hour. Yeah. Good stuff. All for $65 plus tip.

As others have said, it's definitely NOT a spa. Top 40 music over the speakers, not meditative chimey soothing. But it's efficient and thorough. Definitely worth it.

I've stalked this place for almost a year and today I was in the area and decided to stop in. (Sidenote: I love any business that accepts walk ins). The place is very no nonsense and the decor is simple. It definitely could be a little nicer but to be quite honest I'm more concerned about my waxer getting all my hairs out rather than what song is playing on the radio or what color is on the walls.

I was able to be seen right away and I think my waxer was Andreia. She was really nice and super fast. I really liked that she used wide sections of wax. She also kept asking me if I was doing okay. I felt like she understood that waxing is painful. I know that's a funny thing to say but you'd be surprised how many of the waxers are sadists. Anyway, the experience was pretty good. It's too bad I don't live closer because I would totally be a regular here.

Prior to laser hair removal, this was a place I tried out and was very happy with. These ladies ran ahead of schedule and did a much better job than most for pennies on the dollar. The space was clean and in a central Buckhead location- perfect.

Overall, they could spend a bit more time cleaning up the area and going over certain spots but it wasn't anything crazy or unmanageable on my own.

    SO AMAZING!!!

I went here for my very first brazilian wax and I was terrified but determined. The experience was in-cred-i-ble. I hardly felt any pain at all and was blown away by the results, and then it was only $35!! I think it was Andreia herself that did it and she was so pleased to explain everything to me, how hard wax is so much better etc.

Unfortunately, I stopped here before traveling to Virginia, then Korea, then Hawaii, then Texas... I have gotten waxes in all these places and it has not compared. At all. Every place I have been since has only had strips, no hard wax. Every place hurt like I was being stabbed with knives. Every place has charged at LEAST $50.

Enough said. I WISH I lived in driving distance of this place, or at least that they would open up franchises!! Or that other similar waxing salons will pop up! If you have the opportunity to go here I am jealous and you better not waste it by going anywhere else!!!

One last good thing that I learned from my experience at Brazilian Waxing by Andreia is that I can do my armpits myself! After not being able to find another place with hard wax I bought a GiGi warmer and brazilian hard wax pot. I can easily do my armpits and my bikini line, but I can't get the right angle to do a full brazilian wax DARN IT ALL.

I love this chain, but the Buckhead location leaves me feeling upset and I've stopped going for more than 6 months now due to an unfortunate experience. I'm picky and I prefer an older lady to take care of these types of things because I feel they are usually more experienced and I am an ageist...whatever everyone has personality flaws and this is one of mine.

Well there was a younger than I'd like waxer and I tried to keep an open mind.  She started off by burning me (yay!) and then complained the entire time and finished it off by telling me that there were areas she'd leave unwaxed because my skin looked irritated.

I've gotten waxed at the most wonderful places and the most unfortunate dives...this was by far the worst experience I've had in my 8 years of cooter waxing.

This is already an embarrassing situation and then to have the waxer complain the entire time about your pubes made me want to kick this chick in the face and dump the little cup of wax onto her head.  She kept on telling me I was so hairy (WTF) and that the hair wasn't coming out easily.  Ya think? If I had sparse hair that glided out my skin with the snap of a finger I'd save my hard earned cash and do it at home...which I do now.  I don't need snarky comments and rudeness and a half-ass wax job.  I do just as good as she did and my ego is left intact and it's $8 for a jar of wax that lasts me forever.

So thanks evil young waxing skank...you've saved me more money than Geico.

So, I made an appointment for a wax around V-Day (I made it early; I assumed this is the busiest season for all waxers the world over.)  I had no trouble finding the place.  However, when I walked in, I noticed the receptionist, a woman checking in, and on the waiting sofas...  three men.

    What?

I understand the big sign on the window saying "Waxing for Men".  It is a growing market.  I appreciate this.  However, none of these men seemed to be getting waxes.  One was clearly with the other woman checking in, two were tapping impatiently on their phones as they lounged.  They were... waiting for their girlfriends?  What the farking Hell?

Is this a new trend?  I need the attention of all women all over getting waxes:  You're bringing your BOYFRIENDS, now?  Why?  Moral support?  Are they paying?  What possible excuse could you have for dragging your boyfriend along while you get your cha-cha waxed?  Why?  Why?

I did not bring my boyfriend along.  I did, however, have to sit after checking in, uncomfortably squeezed between two dudes in the throes of ennui, at a place called "Brazilian Waxing".  It's not like what I'm doing there is a secret.  The result was an unbelievably uncomfortable wait in the shockingly well-lit and public waiting room.

LADIES:  Leave your boyfriends HOME.  Thank you.

Now, to the important part: the wax.  I was taken to a small, fluorescent-lit room with no ambience that smelled strongly like hard wax.  (I used to use it all the time.  I recognize it from a mile away.  It makes my toes curl.)  I understand the nature of the business, but perhaps some ventilation or scented candles would take care of it.

I was instructed by my waxer to disrobe below the waist and lie down on the table.  I was given no gown nor sheet nor... anything.  I was to lie on my back, hoo-hah facing the door, totes naked from the waist down, on display, under the fluorescent lights, until she returned?  This, too, was uncomfortable.  Very uncomfortable.

However, more uncomfortable than this was the wax itself.  I am not a stranger to the Brazilian.  I have done it myself, I have had it done by others.  Anyone who says that hard wax hurts "sooo much less!!!1" than the kind with strips is either out of their mind or has never had a decent waxer before.

I was completely unprepared for this kind of pain.  It hurt about as much as when I used to do it myself, it just didn't take as long.  I didn't feel like my waxer was holding the skin tight enough (OW), and I thought it was weird that she applied the wax with her fingers.  Even the hard waxing kits come with sticks for application.  Weird?  Just me?  You decide.

After we were finished, she cleaned up a few things, said an extremely rushed, "Thank you, okay, bye bye" and ran out of the room.  It was a bit strange and honestly left me thinking, "Did she see something in my nethers out of the ordinary?  Was my wax really so disgusting?"  Worse still, she missed a couple used pieces of wax in the area and didn't close the lid to the trash can, so I got a nice bright view of the spoils of the ordeal as I was getting my pants back on.

I don't require champagne and a TV on the ceiling for my waxing purposes.  However, it's an extremely delicate situation and I would like some sort of ambience that says, "We understand how vulnerable you are and will act professionally and protect your privacy and try to put you at ease."

The price was right at $35, when at Sinead in Chicago where I normally go I would pay nearly double that.  However, I am willing to pay the extra money for a virtually pain-free wax, a chatty, friendly waxer, privacy, soothing ambience, and not having little bits of wax stuck to my skin for hours afterwards.

For the record, I was sore for nearly two days afterwards.  It wasn't excruciating, it wasn't the wax from Hell, it wasn't a horror story.  It just plain wasn't any good.

I had an appointment for 11am but being new to the area, so I wouldn't be late I left my house early in case I got lost and, I ended up being 45mins early ,and they saw me even thou I was early. Which I think is great because you really want to hurry and get it over with, because waxing itself is really not that fun:-).

Andreia did my wax, she is super friendly, made me feel totally comfortable, and did it with little pain. I have had a Brazilian before and this was the best experience, I have ever had.

    No complaints at all

The amount of time it took for Gabby to complete a full body wax (underams, full legs, and brazilian) was under 30 minutes. This was my first experience with hard wax instead of the strips so I was worried about the pain, but to me the hard wax is less painful.

I decided to try out this place right before my Vegas vacation, I was somewhat disappointed.  When I called to make the appointment, I specifically asked if the technician will use hard wax, because I prefer the strips (it hurts less for me).  The receptionist explained that they tech can use either or I just need to specify during the appointment.

Unfortunately when I get there, they are acting like I'm asking them to part the sea.  All I want is a wax job with the soft wax, and be on my way.  The technician kept trying to convince me to to the hard wax, and after a while of just being annoyed by her, I agreed, and it hurt much worse.  Than she said it hurts because I can't take the pain.  After I finally told her just use the soft wax, she did and everything was all peachy.

The wax job was ok, but the service was sub-par.   And quite frankly, I rather pay more money to be comfortable, considering the person is working on my lady parts.

This is a great place for a quick, cheap, relatively painless, and professional waxing job.  This is not the place for ambience, atmosphere, or particularly great customer service.  If it wasn't so cheap, it wouldn't get 4 stars, but you get what you pay for.

I would not recommend this place for your first brazilian, as they are definetly not going to walk you through anything and its very wham-bam-thank you ma'am.  You walk in, they tell you to take everything off  from the waist down, and lie down on the bed, facing the door (this is pretty uncomfortable to me).  When the waxer comes, in she goes right to town, and its done in less than 15 minutes.  Of course, the waxing hurts a little bit, but its really not that bad at all.  My first experience here was better than my last.  The last girl had her hands all up in there and it was a bit uncomfortable.

When all is said and done, if you want great customer service, pretty rooms, and free champagne, go somewhere else.  But, this place is a great value for something no-one really likes getting done anyways.

In my tantrum ("What do you MEAN you can't guarantee me an appointment with Marisa!?  She's been waxing me for MONTHS! We have a RELATIONSHIP!  Don't you understand, I don't want anyone there near my cuca but her!) over Sweet Samba's new booking policy- They book by time slot, not waxer, so they "will do their best" in terms of booking you with the person you want, but they "don't guarantee it"-  I came to Andreia's  in Buckhead.
Let me say:  I am used to spas with soft lighting, soothing music, vodka shots, TVs, et al.  So walking into Andreia's felt more like a place to get an abortion than a brazilian wax.  It was starkly flourescent, silent, and it felt  institutional.  And as I'm taking off my drawers I see a big, open trash can of used wax strips full of hair.  I don't get grossed out by stuff like that, but it was kinda grody.
The actual wax, though, was so fast and so efficient that I didn't have time to dwell on it.  Seriously, fastest wax of my life.  And I, uh, usually need more time (and wax) than most girls.  *cough*
And it was 42$ including tip.  I've never spent less than 80$.
    So, yeah.  It was fine.

They do a really good job and aren't crazy expensive. The ambiance could be a lot better. They are super quick. They aren't into making you feel comfortable. lol. If you are shy about your twat, don't come here because they'll tell you to get naked from the waist down, get on the table and spread your legs, and will get aaaallll up in your grooves and folds.

Quick, friendly service accompanies the basics. You will undress and lie on a table with doctors paper. The treatment uses hard wax, which is less painful that the traditional wax with cloth strips. I have been to a few places around Atlanta, including Sweet Samba (which has superior facilities), but none have been as quick and painless as Andreia.

It is what it is - quick and cheap! It's not a "pamper-me" type salon (try: Salon Me by Piedmont Park for double the price and quadruple the ambiance) - this place is honest and to the point.  I wouldn't go here for your first brazilian as your first time you'll want someone to hold your hand and make you feel comfortable and safe. This is definitely for people who are accustomed to the waxing (down there) routine and aren't too shy to just pull their panties down when it's time (as there wont be a robe or a towel for you to cover up with).  They wont try to talk you into excessive waxing jobs you don't need, they wont small talk you, and from my experience they won't rip you raw either.  I'll probably go back for my semi annual wax (unless I find a swankier place for the same price)

I love them! I went in for a wax two weeks ago and Gabby did an excellent job.  She was thorough and fast and I will not be visiting any other over-priced salons that offer the same services.

I love Andreia!!  I either see Andreia or Dayse.  Love them!  They do a great job, and for $35!!  The space/salon is clean, you are in your OWN private room, not some area separated by a curtain.  LOVE THIS PLACE!!

Andreia-the owner-has to be the best waxer ever. Super fast & meticulous. As great as Christi is..just can't bring myself to see anyone else except Andreia now. I don't know about everyone else but they talk my ear off when I'm in there..not complaining though it's a nice distraction from the...ummm...you know...lol

Used to go to Natural Body Spa - not anymore.  The price at Andreia's is way better, they do a better job AND it's quicker.  Now, you do sacrifice a couple things (none of which I miss) - there's no foo foo water or music or aromatherapy for you, you don't get a gown or one of those damn paper undies that have to be moved to "cover up".  It looks almost like a surgical environment, but the techs are very comfortable with women and the process.  It is what it is people!  A stranger working near your most private of parts - the upside, besides price and speed, was how normal they made the awkward situation.
