I absolutely felt so comfortable here.  It was the first waxing spa I had been to in Austin and they were very professional!  They made it really easy and tried to keep it very laid back.  I definitely recommend this spa to people who are nervous about waxes.  Plus, I got a student discount!

I was contacted by the owner about my previous bad experience with China, who is no longer at Brazilia (good thing!). I appreciate that Angela cares enough about feedback to follow up with less than ideal experiences. I have since been back and dealt with 2 other ladies who were good at their job and had a much better bedside manner.

Brazilia is clean, comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable. There is even a stuffed kitty to hold if you need "support" while getting waxed down under. It's a testament to how much I like the place that I go all the way across town (I live near Ben White) instead of finding someplace closer.

After my first time there I was terrified. The overall experience is wonderful and painful at first, but eventually your bodys endorphins kick in and its just kind of a Zen type of moment.

The eyebrow wax is pretty much the same everywhere you go, but my experience here was much more pleasant as I could understand completely what she was telling me.

Best scary experience of my life, and I'm about to make my second appointment!

Angela at Brazilia Waxing is a freaking ANGEL.  I used to see her a few years ago for my leg waxing, which was always perfect and lasted weeks.  Then I became a full-time student and couldn't afford to get waxed anymore... or so I thought, until I realized that Brazilia offers this incredible student discount on brazilian waxes.  $39 instead of the regular $49... which, come to think of it, is a great price to begin with.

So in I went yesterday for a brazilian wax... my first bikini wax since.. this is embarrassing, so okay let's say, my first brazilian since this past summer.  So it had been a few months, I had given up and started shaving instead of waxing (always a mistake), but Angela was totally cool about it.  She made one of the top 10 most uncomfortable events in life (a brazilian wax) feel totally fine.  On top of making me feel completely fine about my wax, she was so professional and she did the most incredible job.  I have zero irritation, didn't get any bumps.  Angela is self-admittedly OCD when it comes to her customers' wax... she won't leave anything behind.

So, ladies, here are the lessons to be learned:
    (1) Stop shaving.
    (2) Once you've stopped shaving, start waxing with Angela at Brazilia Waxing Spa!!

Other notes: the facility is super clean, receptionist is friendly and helpful, and there's a tv mounted to the ceiling to distract you from the wax, which is great. I'd give Brazilia 6/5 stars if I could!

My bikini waxes have been quick, well done and mostly painless.  ;0

I went as a last minute appointment because my regular person wasn't available.  I was happy to meet Channing who got me in the room and settled me in.  Once she starts the business it's over pretty quick, more quick than I've had before and it's all gone and looks nice.  I've been getting "hard wax" bikini done for a few years.  It takes longer I guess but it also hurts.  Channing uses strip wax and she doesn't mess around, the strip comes off quick and then she does the ever helpful pressure to relieve any discomfort.

I've been two times so I feel like it's not a fluke.  She does full bikini and then an upper lip wax.  I haven't had any of the bumps or little pimple like things I've had in the past with a lip wax.  I let her know I was prone to bumps and whatever she does helps me not get them.

The best part, other than Channing's good work, is that the treatments are more affordable than my last place.  She's my new "girl" and I'm happy about that.

side note: Parking isn't as bad as I first thought.  Customers of BWS can park in the lot by the Anytime Gym and the Zen Japanese Fast Food.

Came in today and got a brazilian, eyebrow, and lip. Eyebrow was fine.

I usually wait a few hours to write a review about waxes, since it takes awhile for your skin to calm down.  Its been about 8 hours now and this is the result of the brazilian and lip wax:

    1) Breaking out everywhere on my lip from the wax. Three small pimples in under 8 hours - that has to be a record.  I usually have clear skin and I've never had an adverse reaction on my lip from wax.

    2) I've been getting Brazilians for three years now. This was, by far, the MOST PAINFUL brazilian I have ever gotten.  I've been to some of the best spas and the worst holes in New York and even the worst holes didn't make my pores turn into little red bleeding dots.  I literally feel like somebody punched me down there and it has been hours now.  Yes yes I know, anyone who complains about pain shouldn't get a brazilian.  That is a crappy argument because even for brazilians, there are varying levels of pain and varying levels of skill.  This was the worst brazilian I've ever gotten, period.

Yes, the student pricing is one of the best in town.  But still, not worth it for the pain and the pimples.

Is this place seriously called Brazilia?

My usual esthetician (Jessica at Esty Skin) could not get me in last minute so I decided to try this place since it had good reviews and the prices were decent. The place seemed nice at first. The rooms were large, well lit, and even had a tv on the ceiling! But not even a TV on the wall could distract me from all of the pain. I've had my fair share of experience with brazilians and this one was definitely the worst. My pain tolerance is pretty high with waxing and it rarely hurts me. However, during my brazilian at this place I wanted to scream and run out the door and never look back. I wish I could remember the girls name who was helping me so you can save yourself lots of pain. Do yourself a favor, if this is your first brazilian wax, please do NOT go here.

PS- I really did not want to put my "private" (literally) business out on the internet but I really want to spare some of you gals some pain.

It's a shame to read about the previous yelper's review, because my recent experience with Brazilia was quite exceptional.

I too was scheduled with China, and she was incredibly polite, and professional.  It was my first wax...down there...ever, and she made the experience very easy.  I got there a little early and she took me in almost immediately and didn't waste anytime.  I didn't feel like the television was enough of a distraction, so I ended up talking with her and she was really friendly and answered all my questions in my own effort to distract myself.  Which, in fact, wasn't entirely needed, because well, it didn't hurt as much as I was expecting (not even several hours or a day afterwards)!  Praise Jesus!

I can already say that I will be coming back in 4 to 6 weeks for another wax.  The student pricing is worth it, the girl at the front desk was super duper sweet, it's a nice little place, and China did a fantastic job.  I only wish they were open Sundays! :)

OWWWWWW. It's almost 24 hours later, and I'm still in pain. If you see me walking funny, it's for all the wrong reasons.

    Let's start with the good:
    Great hours.
    Open Mondays.
    Quick, yet very little stragglers.

    The bad:
Quick ends up equalling all strip wax and rough.
Wax was too hot, especially "down there".
    Owwwww.

Yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to get waxed for M's birthday. I've been waxed a few times before, so I know what I'm getting into. My usual girl is at a salon that isn't open on Mondays, and I had heard good things about Brazilia, so I booked an appointment for an hour and a half later. Exciting! 30 minutes before the appointment I popped a couple of ibuprofen and headed over.

Angelea was nice, and it was pretty cool to have a TV above my head. The coversation was ok. I'm already nervous with new people because I'm a fatty and have had negative experiences. The Brazilian was pretty painful. More painful than my FIRST brazilian wax. She didn't ask me if how much I wanted gone, but that's ok because she assumed correctly. The problem was she only used strip wax, and she didn't apply pressure after yoinking that strip off my labia. I let her know the wax was too warm, and she said she turned it down, but in a couple spots, it still felt like burning.

She did a great job on my legs, so I would maybe go back as long as it was for less sensitive body parts.

The worst thing? The lack of crazy birthday sex.

    Owwwww.

I've been getting full brazilians for ten years (yes, I'm admitting that online) and I've been going to Brazilia for the last year or so because the price is right. But, after my last experience there, I doubt I'll return. The woman at the front counter was rude, to begin with. And the girl who waxed me showed an utter lack of skill and attention to what she was doing. She would put wax on an area several times, trying to pull every last hair with the cloth strip that she never changed. I've never in all my ten years of this experienced such pain. I actually screamed out for her to stop. And, to boot, she never used a clean cloth but kept using the same piece over and over. It was disgusting!

I have only had one bikini wax before and just moved to Austin.

Things were getting pretty hairy so I consulted Yelp to find the best and most reasonable waxing salon. I decided on Brazilia ($39 student special can't be beat).

The people are SO nice and awesome. I sat and talked to the receptionist forever.

The wax job I had was nothing like the one I had in San Diego. All though the girl was super nice I had THE WORST TIME. She took twice as long as my other wax and I was in a lot of discomfort. The first wax I got didn't even hurt and this one was pretty bad. I even used numbing gel.

I think it may have been because she was taking so long I was breaking out in a sweat and shaking uncontrollably. It was hell actually. I never imagined it would have been that bad...

She also gave me a WAY crooked landing strip which I didn't notice until I was home because she didn't give me a mirror.

3 days later a lot of my hair grew back too which means she didn't wax it right and it ripped them instead of pulling them out. Not worth the $45 dollars I paid...

I give it 2.5 stars because of the price (it really would have been 2). I'm hoping this was just a bad experience and am going to ask for the other girl next time...

    Love this place!!!

From the staff and the atmosphere; even down to the boutique jewelry/gifts, I cannot say enough how much I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Brazilia Waxing Spa!!

When walking in the spa I'm always greeted as if I am family. There is never a time where you feel uncomfortable, or not completely welcomed. Everyone there is extremely sweet, professional, and attentive to your every need.

The spa is immaculate and beautiful. The waiting area is cozy and stylish with it's plush couches and chairs, detailed wall designs, fashionable jewelry and accessories, and a classic chandelier hung in the center of it all. The waxing rooms are just as beautiful with the same detailed wall designs and have TV's directly above your head so when you're lying down on the waxing table you can put your mind at ease for many of you who are nervous about getting waxed or if it's your first time.

Angelea is awesome! I've been getting brazilians done by Ang for about 3 years now and an eyebrow wax here and there. There is no other like her around, she is the absolute best!! I always feel comfortable and she does a great job of getting every single hair possible.

I've also just recently got a Clarifying Chemical Peel and have been getting compliments on my skin everywhere I turn. The results, after one day, my skin was brighter and more even toned. I love it and need to go back for another treatment.

All in all, great place for all your waxing and skin care needs with people you can trust and trust that they truly know what they are doing!!

I had a great experience here at Brazilia. I purchased a Tidbits Treat earlier this week which I totally lucked out getting since I was due for some cleaning up down there. I had the owner Angelea and it was very quick and with minimal pain. I had not been as good about exfoliating lately and was surprised at how great it turned out and with little or no ingrown hairs. I would definitely go back to see Angelea and recommend this for their wax service. I have to get sugaring done on my very sensitive lip otherwise I might try them for that as well.

    First visit:

I look like an extra in Planet Of The Apes, as you all know so well. Decided it was time to evolve into two separate eyebrows. Brazilia took my epic unibrow and made it into two much smaller caterpillars. They did such a good job that I was barely recognized at this week's Mensa meeting.

    Second visit:

So, I was asked to star in a porno movie. Normally, I'd have said no, as it conflicts with my religion (Non-Denominational Catholic Moonie Mormon, with a side of Muslimish Buddhistic Hindu), but when I heard it was local, I figured, why not help the economy.

And, to be honest, when I learned the production featured plus-sized women and midgets (interestingly, that's not un-PC; apparently the term Little People is frowned upon in the industry), I had no choice. I am all about Keeping Austin Normal, and supporting diversity.

I said yes, to cheers and high fives from the fluffers' room.
"Kyley Wadd, your time has come!", said the director.
"But wait for my signal, and stay out of her spotlight."

All was fine until he insisted that I "shave my package".
I got a little queasy, uneasy, and even somewhat skeezy, muh neezy.
He said it was standard practice; "it'll make your johnson look tall and lonesome". But I was uncertain. Hitchcock (the director's real name) smiled and handed me a free coupon to what he called "the hippest hottest most 0/1 reviewed happenin'est high-five slappin'est waxin' joint in town. Now go wax your joint."

I entered the spa sheepishly (by which I mean that I had more wool than the New Zealand sweater industry).

But not to fear! Everyone was super cool and knew just what was up, or soon to be. They really made me feel at home, and when I heard about the 15% discount for writing a positive review on yelp, I regretted having a free coupon. Then I did the math and felt better.

They laid me on the table and strapped my limbs down.
    "For your protection."
Sensing my alarm, they soothed my fevered brow with cool washcloths scented with Oil Of Ofay.

They turned on the Barry White 8-track I'd brought.
Then they poured on the wax.

    It was hot.
    My god, it was hot!

    I yelped.

"Do I get 15% off for that?" I asked.

They just smiled and said, "This will only hurt for a second."
    Then they pulled.

Guys, let me give you a little tip (said the moyle):
Hold on to your scrotal issue during the procedure.
Because besides the pain, I now have a sac that sags past my knees. And while I do have "balls like Wilt Chamberlain" (not my quote), they hardly fill out the scene, if you know what I mean.
Imagine Morgana the Kissing Bandit at age 124, and you'll get the picture.

However, there is a happy ending. (No, it's not that kind of spa.)
When Hitch saw me the next day, he merely smiled and affirmed that I would fit into the production even better.
"Keepin' It Weird, son!" he chortled, wrapping my sac around my neck like a scarf.

The plus-sized gals were impressed, the little people (sorry, "midgets") were envious, and the fluffers took shots on their cell phones to send to something called youtube (?).

The movie was made and frankly I could not be prouder.

Brazilia is everything all of these other reviewers claim.
    And so much more.
It is so good that most folks who come here swear that "it's the only place in Austin worth reviewing!"

It only hurts when I pee.

I freaking LOVE Angelea!!! I got a Groupon for an eyebrow, lip, and brazilian/bikini was for this spa and let me just say, that if you missed out on that deal...you missed out on the DEAL OF THE CENTURY!!!

Ok, first, about the location. I don't go to this area very often, but I was pleased to see that there is a parking lot between her building and Zen, parking on the street on the other side, and a few parking spots in front of the building. So...don't be afraid that just because this is in a busy area, you won't be able to park. I was greeted right when I walked in which was great. Everyone who works there seems really friendly! The space is decorated very nicely...it's warm and inviting. She has some things available for sale in the waiting area and I was early and she was too, so we got to business almost right away!

OK, brazilian waxes are NOT a fun thing...it doesn't matter who is doing it, what kind of wax they're using, it just doesn't matter. What I will say is that Angelea is super fast, keeps you distracted by talking to you the whole time, and I couldn't find ONE stray hair...I'm not joking. I have been to other places to get waxed and there were always a few stragglers, not here....smooth as a ...wait, that's just wrong. anyway...I was very pleased with the outcome. I think that total for everything I got waxed was about 30 minutes.

I am really interested in doing the whole facial thing as well...Angelea has amazing skin...

So, I would definitely recommend a visit for waxing services...as far as I can tell, there's not a better deal out there even if you're paying full price. Also, you can do $25 touch-ups every 2 weeks for the brazilian which to me is better than paying almost $80 a month and having to go a couple of weeks without things being smooth in between times.

Last week, I took a chance on Brazilia and am SO glad I did. My favorite waxer left the spa I've been using for a long time, and the one who replaced her left much to be desired. (She also left a lot of hair behind. Ugh.) Brazilia's price was a fair bit lower than what I had been paying, so I was a little bit skeptical. But the Yelp reviews were great, so I forged ahead.

The salon is clean and pretty, the staff is very warm and friendly, and they had me in and out with time left over to grab lunch before I had to run back to the office.

Jackie did my brazilian, and she was fabulous. Not only was the waxing itself done right, but she's really fun to talk to. I don't know about you, but I think there's a lot to be said for someone who makes good conversation while she's dealing with your lady parts. I'll definitely be back every few weeks.

ON BRAZILIA: I love that Angelea opened Brazilia!!!  It is very inviting and I love the location.  It's also important to me to know that it is owned by a fellow Austinite - and a wonderfully sweet and patient one at that!!  She is very friendly and personable - and she amazingly remembers things we talk about while I'm getting my brows waxed.

As far as prices go - it's about on average from what I've seen - but you don't have to deal with people also cutting hair or getting their nails done or anything else around you.  You're getting waxed from someone who knows waxing VERY well - and not just someone who doesn't happen to have a hair appointment at that time.  They do not rush the services as to get you in and out without caring about how they leave you looking - but they don't take forever either.  The rooms are comfortable and inviting.

ON ANGELEA: I have been a client of Angelea's for several years now.  She used to be at another waxing spot in town that I just happened to wander in to while I was in South Austin one day.  I decided to give eye brow waxing one last shot - because I had really bad previous experiences due to my sensitive skin.

Wandering in and having Angelea wax my brows changed my previously poor, fluffy eye brows lives forever!  They are now very happy, pretty and the right size!

I live in the Cedar Park area and gladly drive 20-30 minutes to see Angelea whenever it's time to tame the brows.  (I moved to NY for a few months and would go with creepy brows until my once a month visits back to Austin to see my family and get my brows done again!)

I have kicked around the idea of waxing - ummm ... down there for a while now.  I went today and gave it a shot.  It wasn't too bad!  She was wonderful.  She dealt with me asking if I could yell if it hurt (I didn't!!!!) and said of course, she dealt with me asking to take a few breaks during the process and had no problem at all giving me some time.  I would have never had this waxing done if I did not feel 100% comfortable with Angelea and had complete trust that she would make sure the experience went as smoothly for me as it ever could.

I highly recommend trying Brazilia for whatever you're thinking of waxing!

Alright, let's set the record straight. I went to Brazilia last week for brow design with Angelea and it was great. The spa is gorgeous and relaxing. Is it weird to say I loved the music?

She was running a bit behind because the guest before me was pregnant, so she had to be extra cautious. Understandable. In the meantime, the friendly receptionist struck up a conversation with me.

What really stood out for me was Angelea's attentiveness. I've had my brows waxed countless times (almost never at the same place) and she is the ONLY esthetician to get that part of my left eyebrow is scarred from a childhood case of the chickenpox. She didn't try to hide it, or shape my brows around it. That scar is a part of me and I've come to love it. She totally got that - hell, she had a scar just like mine!

Inevitably, we got to talking about Yelp and the 'we need a lamb' thread (http://tinyurl.com/c7k44j). I understand where Angelea's coming from, and I also understand the sketchiness of some of the reviews posted here.

What it boils down to for me: It's a legit spa, within walking distance from my place, and I was happy with my experience there (no hoochie-mama brows, folks). Go on Wednesdays for a 15% discount.

    Case closed.

I've come to Brazilia twice in the last two months. Overall, their prices are great, the location is really convenient (although somewhat lacking in parking), and I've never had a problem getting a convenient appointment time.
I got a brazilian wax for the first time in my life the first time I went there. Jackie did a great job and was totally friendly. However, I decided the brazilian was just not for me, so the second time I went in, it was just for a bikini wax. Unfortunately Jackie doesn't work Saturdays, and I just got an 8-5 weekdays job, so I got a different aesthetician. Lucy seemed new, and was a bit less amiable than Jackie. When I got home I had quite a few stray hairs to tweeze. But it was only $25 so I'm not going to complain.

I chose Brazilia to shape the caterpillars that had taken residence on my face last year and haven't looked back since. Every time I go there, I get an appointment with a nice, competent person. I haven't had a bad experience yet, and I think I've seen about 4 or 5 different people so far. I never wait long before my appointment, and there's even a TV to stare at during the waxing so that you end up forgetting about all of the tiny hairs being ripped from the upper portion of your face.

My one word of advice: each woman has her own waxing supplies and may not have something you'd like. I prefer the hard wax on my upper eyebrows, and sometimes that particular person won't have it or have it heated up. Make sure to ask when you're making your appointment for special things like that.

I heart Angelea.  I met her about 4 years ago at another salon [via Brazilian], moved from Austin for a few years... moved back and sought her out only to learn she had opened her own place!  She is THAT good, friends.
Brazilians, eyebrows, whatever it may be, the service is meticulous and comfortable.  Not to mention, when you're on your back, you're looking up at a television!
Staff is friendly, ambiance is fun, parking is easily accessible, and the price is right.
    Get it girls!  ...And guys.

I had a great experience with Brazilia - the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the woman who helped me was very professional.  It was about as painless as it can be, and there was a TV hanging over my head, which was a nice distraction.

I've had waxes done at several places in several places around the country, and Brazilia is definitely among the best!

This place is perfect for students! It's reasonably priced, fast, and they do an awesome job! The staff is friendly and makes you feel comfortable. I didn't feel awkward at all because my waxer was professional and personable. She made it quick and relatively painless too! AMAZING.

I got a Groupon for this place and wanted to try getting a brazilian for the first time.  Jacqueline was awesome! :) She made me feel super comfortable, even when I thought I was being a wimp.  She told me what to expect and how to maintain my new look.  I have somewhat sensitive skin and the wax felt warm and nice.  I've just been moisturizing heavily since my appointment, but it's also been pretty cold for the past week, which dries me out anyway.

The place is beautiful and everyone else on staff seemed nice from what I could tell.

I would definitely ask for Jacqueline next time.

Man. I've just healed my face and nether regions from my waxing at Brazilia. i really don't even recall the name of the woman who did my waxing. It was early July...perhaps it was China?? Ah, but I digress. Here's what I can recall:
1.) She was extremely cold. No, I'm not talking about her hands. Her bedside manner was awwwwfuuuullllllll. She somewhat attempted small talk, but seemed annoyed when I told her it was my first full brazilian.
2.) Even though I told her I had sensitive skin (especially on my face!!),  and to skimp on the post waxing oils, she slathered it on. You know that character on Star Trek? With the bumps over his eyes? Yep, that was me. For TWO WEEKS.
3.) She commented on my mannerisms, which I thought was awkward. Unlike the other reviewer, I kept a straight face whilst being waxed into oblivion. "Uh, you ok? You aren't showing any emotion, and that's weird."
Well, I wasn't aware I was having my Brazilian done by Dr Phil.
4.) I left with wax ALL OVER my nether regions and thighs. Like, I stuck to my underwear, jeans, EVERYTHING!! How awkward.

Probably wouldn't go here again...sorry. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. Thus the two-star rating.

I decided to stop in on a whim when I was visiting my sister, and I'm soo glad I did.  The receptionist was super friendly, and without an appointment I only had to wait about 5 minutes.  The place was spotless, and Monica was careful to tell me that they don't double-dip in the wax.  There were also TVs above the waxing table, which is a nice touch.  Monica was quick and (relatively) painless, and very easy to talk to, making the entire process less awkward.  She also cleaned up strays with a tweezer when she was finished.  There were no patches remaining and my irritation has been minimal.  Overall, a great wax for a great price!  And I can't recommend Monica enough-- she was sweet and professional!  I only wish they were closer...

I have had nearly 100 bikini waxes in my time since I started getting them in high school, and I have NEVER had such an awful experience.  I've even gone to shady, hole-in-the-wall cheap places in emergencies, so I really can't believe Brazilia was so bad.

I got the student brazilian, and the wax was literally so hot that I couldn't even finish the procedure.  When I kept telling her I was in pain and that the wax seemed too hot, she just kept waxing away.

When she was nearly done, I was nearly too afraid to look down, it felt as though she had ripped away all of my skin as well.  I finally just said "I can't take it anymore" she gave me an odd look, and left the room.

I can't believe I paid to have my bikini area burned.  I couldn't even wear my favorite bikini for a few days, the area was so red.  I was bleeding from my follicles.

    Definitely won't be returning.

Just went to Brazilia after a
Six month lapse off of a friend's recommendation. I have never had such an unfortunate waxing experience. The salon itself is cute and clean and the lady at the front desk was kind and welcoming. The pros end there. Every other place that I have gone to get waxed, the estethicians have been overly friendly and talkative to make you feel as comfortable as possible; however, the woman who did my waxing at Brazilia (Nicole? Can't remember) was cold and downright bitchy. I've had many waxes before so I knew what to expect but I swear this one hurt EXCEPTIONALLY BAD. First I was supposed to get an eyebrow waxing but since she took me in the room 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment, she said she didn't have enough time. So I laid down, spread eagle and the waxing commenced. I didn't scream or move too substantially but I would flinch every time she angrily yanked the strips off and multiple times she told me 'how I was messing her up' or 'going to mess up the wax'. Finally she told me that there was some hair left but she wasn't going to get it because I was moving too much(typically salons will take the extra five minutes and pluck the stragglers). Basically she made it clear that my pain irritated her and that I was being a big, inconvenient baby. As if her attitude wasn't enough I went home with a swollen, bloody result. I wouldn't go back to Brazilia even if they gave me a lifetime of free waxing. Pay the extra 20 bucks ladies and go somewhere that you'll be treated respectfully and get great results.

I think this is the best place to go for a  brazilian in Austin. Angelea gets it all and fast! Decent prices and they offer a "betweenie" service which really comes in handy when you wanna keep it tight!

I've been going to Angela for maybe a year now so was thrilled to find out she had opened her own salon.  She's fast and very in tune with  my sensitive skin.  And the salon looks lovely.

Angela has been doing doing my waxing (top to bottom) for about 1 1/2 years now.  She even does my hubby's back (thank goodness!)  She does an absoluetly AWESOME job and we would not go anywhere else.  I love that she has opened her own place and her rates are perfect.  We both have sensitive skin and she really knows how to take care of us!

I love the atmosphere, decor, and boutique feel. I was a little disappointed about the place seems how I read reviews on yelp and was personally referred to Brazilia by a friend.
I went in for my first brazilian, ever. On the up side of things I guess I wasn't in killer pain like I had anticipated... I felt comfortable (enough), and things went okay (as said, not as dazzling as previous reviews). At the end of the wax I really wasn't given any advice or direction on what to do, other than to come back in about four weeks and not shave between. When I got home I was able to check out the wax "job"... stubble every where and patches of complete miss on the bikini line! It kind of left me feeling like I could have spared myself the whole experience.  Like I said, this was my first so I can't judge too much - after all maybe it just happens your first time? I'll probably give them another shot but I hope next time yields better results.

After getting my first Brazilian at another highly rated yelper's spa, I decided that I needed a new waxer who was both closer, and more meticulous. I found that in Gloria at Brazilia. She spoke to me about how when she lived in Europe for six months, that she really appreciated how everyone strived to do the best in their jobs, even if their job was making coffee (so take a page from that book, grouchy baristas!), and in learning from them, she is the most efficient and thorough brazilian waxer I have ever encountered. She gets every darn little fuzzy hair and has amazing and interesting things to talk about as she does it. Brazilia also has great specials all the time, so if you keep an eye out, you can get the best brazilian of your life at an amazing price.

Love this place! Angela the owner makes you feel right at home and the atmosphere is extremely soothing. We all know that this particular experience is NEVER a fun one, but the TV above your head along with Angela talking you through the procedure helps to ease your mind. I will never go to another brazilian salon after going here. Plus, they have great student discounts (which I am not) and other deals they will fill you in on at your appointment. Thanks Angela!

Angela is great. They are friendly, clean, and you can always get an appointment. Angela is quick and efficient but she does a great job. In terms of pricing, I find them to be on the cheaper side which is always a bonus.

The funniest thing I've ever seen: there is a TV on the ceiling looking down at you when you are getting your wax. Hilarious. Nice touch, Brazilia.

I am so glad I discovered Brazilia!  I went for a brazilian and upper leg wax.  It's unbelievable how difficult it is to get a good brazilian and good overall experience.  Brazilia is definitely my new spot!  First of all, the atmosphere is chic, cute, casual, yet professional.  They got me in quickly, didn't double dip, the process was painless, natural, thorough, and over in a really really decent amount of time.  I love the colors of the place, the waxing rooms are large, and the girls very nice.  I was used to closet-sized rooms or trying to rely on unreliable scheduling outside of salons ...  I'd rather pay more and be guaranteed an appointment in an open, clean environment.  Angelea was awesome!!!  Prices are basically average, but on the lower end.  Ladies, you should support this independent, local spot!

The best brazilian wax I've ever had! I don't remember the owners name, but she's waxed me each time and I absolutely LOVE her. You are in and out in 15 minutes!! Quickest and most accurate brazilian ever. I have tried other places and they either take an hour or they don't get all of the hair! This place is amazing and a really good price if you're a student. Love!!
