I was back in my home town of Naples, ME and realized I had never been to good ol' Bray's Brew Pub & Eatery. I used to live here years and years ago when it was the Epicurean and at that age had no reason to go.

My ladyfriend was back in town with me and my family suggested we go check it out.  From amazing service (Thanks Miranda!) to fantastic beers made in the barn, to food that was outstanding, I loved it!  Great dishes with fresh seafood, pasta and beef cooked to perfect, and daily specials that make your mouth water!

I thought it was a little expensive, it's kind of the only game in town so I understand it, but the palce is wicked cute, lots of fun, and has delicious inexpensive pints.  I can't wait to get back in town so I can go again!  If you're in the Naples/Bridgton/Sebago/Casco area DEFINITELY go to Bray's.  It's a wonderful stop in a wonderful town, and you'll be glad you did!

We visited Bridgton and Naples for a snowshoe vacation, and ate at Bray's for dinner. The food was good; I had lobster ravioli (the lobster was flavorful but could have been a bit more stuffed) with a spicy marinara, and my girlfriend had a steak that was tasty and tender. For drinks I had a brown ale that was flavorful and went well with the food. The best thing about Bray's in the winter was all of the Snowmobiles in the parking lot. It looked like a regular hangout for people snowmobiling across the lakes, and it was a lot of fun to hang out with them. We plan on coming back in the summer and will be sure to come back.

I'm not sure i can say there is truly anything special about this place. Other than the beer. It is truly good beer. I would suggest getting a sampler. Oh and unless your hungry stay away from the pulled pork sandwich it's huge
There was outdoor seating and everyone seemed pretty friendly. Didn't see anything about growlers to go which was disappointing.
Worth stopping in.

The beer was much better this time.  The Brown Ale had a sweet malty flavor in-line with both the style and the regional beers.  The nachos were good, and the service was excellent.

You know when you just click with somebody? You just meet and like a person instantly, but not know why?  I know I sound like a toolbox, but that's what bray's is like.  There's nothing great about this place, no awesome dining room.  The service is just adequate.  The food really isn't very good for the price.  The bathrooms are antiquated...  The list goes on.... But it's so comfortable and inviting that  you just don't care about these attributes....

So it's clearly not all bad... First of all, Bray's is located in a large old Mansard style farm house, and the old barn has been converted into a micro brewery, and let me tell you, it's damn good beer.  Try the Church IPA or the cherry wheat ale... It's flippin delicious!

Outside, there's a vine covered canopy bar with a dozen or so stools looking out to Bray's back yard which is... a back yard with picknick tables, a small roofed dining area that looks like it might have been horse stall inspired, and a horsehoe pit off to the side-  It's basically like having a cookout with yoru friends, but not having to worry about the clean up or cops coming later on that night..

I think bray's is officially my favorite Bar in Naples Maine! (Oh yeah, it's the only one) But even still, I think it would still be my favorite.  Hell, it might be my favorite summer bar anywhere!

We've become regulars at Bray's because the food is just that good.  Their BBQ is fantastic, the Petite Filets wrapped in bacon are WONDERFUL!  and the Specials they offer are out of this world!  In the summertime, you have to get their Lobster Rolls!  You get two HUGE lobster rolls for an incredible price!!  AND, if you want a drop dead desert, get their Cookie-dough Ice Cream Pie!  I assure you, you won't be disappointed!
