So teething problems need to be resolved. After telling me he accidentally threw out the 100 year old mantle clock my grandfather made...HE FOUND IT!

SO I have it back and all is sunshine gain. But he needs o work on his intake and inventory.

The carriage clock repair, mantle clock restoration, and grandfather's clock repair were fine

I have a Seth Thomas mantle clock about 110 years old and a treasured family heirloom. It needed a mainspring replacement. Mike said it might be 2 months before he could get to it. After receiving the clock he mentioned it would be closer to two weeks. I've noticed horologists (clock repair experts) often have a different sense of time, which amuses me. The clock was returned after 3 weeks and soon I found it ran only a few hours or more often ran less than an hour. For 3 days (there was a weekend here) I did what I could with what knowledge I had of the clock. I left a message for Mike and he returned the call a couple days later. He explained the problem was not what I thought it might be and asked that I send the clock back for some tweaking. We talked a bit more and over the phone he listened to the clock's ticking. And over the phone he then guided me to gently adjust a wire that connected to the pendulum. It was an amazing phone call that illustrated his expertise. The clock works perfectly now, and especially so since he also replaced 13 bushings and both mainsprings in the repair. Yes, an easily deserved 5 stars!

I inherited a very old grandfather clock that was shipped from California. I was very worried about assembling it and the climate here. Mike met me at the house, assembled it all and despite warning me that he was not sure it would work (it has never run in the 47 years my parents had it), he had it chiming in an hour. Truly amazing. Thank you Mike for traveling to Big Sky to make this beautiful family heirloom bless our home!
