I have had the pleasure of doing business with the Bow Wow Lounge and this place is great.  The staff are all polite and professional.

Their new location in Andersonville is clean and HUGE, so our dogs actually have a safe environment to play.  The owner Corri is very kind and takes the time to go through all your questions herself.

For anyone who cares about your dogs like family, this is the place for you!

I cannot say enough good things about Bow Wow Lounge.  I have been using their services for many many years now.  My three dogs all have a blast when they go and come home happy and exhausted.  The owner Corri always goes above and beyond for us.  I trust her immensely with my dogs and their safety.  If she turns down a client, like a previous post addressed, it would have been for all the right reasons.  She would never discriminate against a certain breed, especially since I have a 120 lb Rottweiler.  She would only turn a client down if she felt her existing clients' safety was in jeopardy.  Some people may not understand and take that personally.    She uses specific methods to determine if a dog will do well in a large daycare-group setting.  I appreciate that she "tests" new clients before accepting them since it affects the safety of my 3 dogs!

Bottom line....I trust my dogs will always be safe and secure in the care of Bow Wow Lounge and HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!

bwl saved my marriage?
we've known corri casually for years, and i remember thinking she was absolutely soft in the head for starting a doggy daycare. who ever thought of such a thing?
now we have a new roxydog, and like any new parents, we hadn't spent any qt together without treats in tow. introduce bwl, and we had quite a day! at first, mommy looked a little freaked at leaving her girl behind, but the people were so calm and reassuring. and at the end of the day, roxmonster could barely climb the stairs to her big shrimpy bed.
is our dog spoiled? if so, the lounge is our accomplice.

As an update...I'm pretty sure they're slipping my puppies doggie crack. The dogs are so incredibly excited when we arrive at BWL, yelping and whining because they can't get out of the car fast enough. I cannot believe the transformations they've both gone through. It's comforting to know my dogs are happy and have fun all day long at BWL. I could not be happier with this place!!

When I first got my dog I checked out many different daycare options, this one was the best! Cory and her staff are friendly, love the dogs, caring, and kind to them. The staff is friendly and you can see the love they have for the dogs. I would recommend The Bowwow lounge to everyone and have:)

I have been taking my 1 year old yellow lab, Arlo, to Bow Wow Lounge for day care since they opened their new location.  The staff is very friendly and the owner, Cori, is extremely helpful.

My puppy is EXTREMELY hyper and requires a great deal of exercise to keep him happy.  I drop him off for day care about twice a week from 9 am to 7 pm.  Every time I pick him he is completely exhausted from playing all day and goes to sleep immediately as soon as I get home.

In my book, a tired puppy is a good puppy and I will continue taking him to Bow Wow Lounge.

After weeks of using Bow Wow Lounge as a walking service, we finally dropped our puppy off for his first day of day care this morning. The owner, Corri, encouraged me to call throughout the day to check on him because she knew I was nervous about his size.

I did call, and got a full report on how he was having the time of his life, tail wagging non-stop. She was taking him out of play group to give him 15 minute breaks to catch his breath because he gets so excited around other dogs, especially other pugs.

What really showed me that they care, in addition to all the phone calls and emails throughout the day, is that Corri told me she'd like Boris to gain a little weight before coming back in a few weeks (he's 13 weeks, just under 7 lbs), not because he was getting pushed around or anything, but just so that we can all be confident that he is big enough to defend himself from dogs who may not be so tolerant of his "paws up" greetings. The fact that they care more about his well-being than taking my money makes me feel less like Bow Wow Lounge is a service provider, and more like they are part of my puppy's life. We won't go anywhere else for walking or day care services.

Well I am not so egotistical to speculate on why they have turnover here. I dont know maybe its a good job for students? But none the less.

I went to Europe for a few weeks and due to friends who normally take care of my cat, they couldnt take care of Max. I used Bow wow. I coudlnt be happier with the service and the price.

She took the time to find out what my cat likes and doesnt. She understood he is more comfortable around women then men. She came over everyday to take care of him herself, and a pluthra of belly scratches.  I had an adorable note at home for everyday that she was there with how Max did and ate. I also checked up while in Europe to ensure all was well. If my cat could drive he would. I worry at times at what problems he can create.  :)

I had a good experience and I went by to pick up my keys there was a slight smell. Not bad considering real live dogs are at play........go with me on this one.............dogs playing and eating they might have a smell.........I dont know call me crazy...........However, I did see they hose the floors down. I have no doubt they keep this place clean but I am sure some lincoln park trixies will have a few problems if Bongo is in a block of a scent thats not Guci oriented.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Take a tour and the time to see where your pet plays and get to know them first. Its your pet,  I made a great choice for excellent service!

My rescue mutt, Pocky, is shy around people but loves to play with other dogs. I decided to send her to daycare once a week to give her some quality play time with other pups. Bow Wow Lounge had recently moved to a location about 3 blocks from our home, so we stopped by one evening on a routine walk and Corri gave us a tour of the facilities. The play area is enormous and clean, with different areas separated by chain-link fence for different play groups. We met several members of the staff and everybody was happy and enthusiastic. They really seem to love their jobs. I signed Pocky up for daycare that night on Bow Wow's website, and began bringing her in once weekly starting the following week. While she still hates the drop-off, she seems to really love the playroom staff and Corri says she always has a great time. I usually bring Pocky in on Wednesdays, but I've never had a problem bringing her in on a different day (I call first just to be sure it's okay, though). Pocky is always completely exhausted when I bring her home in the evening. Bow Wow Lounge is really top notch, highly recommended.

I started bringing my dog here a few months ago.  I can't believe some of the reviews I am reading here.  I have been completely happy with the entire staff and experience here.  I find the employees and owner very easily approachable, and the facilities nice.  Sure there is a smell, but there are how many dogs running around everyday?  I will continue to go here as long as the service stays at its present level.

I agree the place smells nasty and it leaves a big time funk on the dogs.  That being said, our dog loved going and had a lot of fun.  I know she didn't mind the stank, but mommy and daddy do!  I found the staff friendly and responsive.  I think if the place didn't smell so damn gross that we would return.
