We picked up a BBQ Chicken pizza last night on the way home. Good pizza! Even after the ride home the thin-ish crust stayed nice and crispy. There were plenty of toppings but not too much which often makes the crust soggy. The place was clean and the staff pleasant. We'll be back.

i love the pizza here, specially the veggie. the sandwhiches are great too, you cant beat the lunch special either which includes mini pizza, drink and salad for like $5. the bar serves cocktails and beer and wine for folks that indulge and this one here does indulge. Enjoy!

Now this is good, local pizza in Sparks. It's had many different owners over the years, the current ones know their stuff. They aren't super fancy, it's got a sports bar in the back, like a good pizzeria should. The pizza is solid, and made with fresh ingredients.
I really have become addicted to the Mexirito pizza when we come visiting. It's a taco pizza with beans for sauce and all the taco trimmings. Great stuff, they don't try to dumb it down.
The pepperoni is good, not little small slices either. The meats on the combo pizza are all premium quality, and tasty (even the sausage, which I am extremely picky with). They come in small, medium, large, and x-large sizes. The large size is pretty large, the x-large is amazing, and would probably keep the family fed on it's own.
Give it a try, it's a great family-style pizza place, and the pricing is a bit cheaper than the pricing of a Mountain Mike's or Round Table. I am looking forward to my next Reno trip, I'm going to get the wings! -

Pizza was great and service was even polite......but the issue i had was with this coupon $10 for $20.....i purchased it and tried to use it and was only given $10 off my total bill.......FALSE Advertising....if youre only getting $10 off your bill why would you take the time to purchase this "DEAL"......I will return because the pizza and service was great but will NEVER buy a deal from them again....

Best thin crust pizza in the Truckee Meadows. PERIOD. Great prices and quality. Just the right amount of sauce and the flavor is fresh and addicting! Stop by the bar and pick up one of the several brews on tap to compliment the meal.
The manager, Tony keeps it real by hosting weekly events and his lively attitude! One of the last, true pizza parlors. Give them a try! You wont be disappointed. -

This is my family's favorite pizza. Way back when Shakey's was the only pizza in Sparks. It was great pizza in a fun atmosphere. Now that they've moved around the corner and changed the name, the pizza and fun have remained. The pizza is always the greatest with a thin crispy crust, perfectly seasoned sauce, and tons of toppings. It's a great place to go no matter the size of your group. When we have 10 or more poeple going out for pizza I always call ahead and they reserve a long table for me near the back. The kids can play the video games and air hockey while the adults socialize. Makes it easy to let the kids have fun and they're never out of your sight.

Boulevard Pizza is not only has great pizza, but the staff is wonderful too! My husband and I come here weekly for their Thursday night bike nights. It's a great crowd, and seriously, you cannot beat the pizza. They have a full bar, with about 8 beers on tab and maybe two dozen in bottles. Their sides are great too. My favorites are the jalapeno bottlecaps and the garlic cheese bread. Be warned...the jalapeno bottlecaps are a bit on the spicy side, but they are quite addicting. The thing I like most about Boulevard is the family feel. You can't go wrong supporting a local business nowadays!

I liked this place enough to give it four stars even if I didn't really like the pizza I got this time.
I stopped by Butcher Boy in Sparks to snag six bottles of Kermit Lynch-imported wine for $6.60 each at the close out sale and was in the mood for pizza and I decided to try Boulevard Pizza. .I last tried this place in the mid 1990s when ex-UNR basketball coach Len Stevens owned it. Len was a better basketball coach than pizza maker.
Turns out it's owned by the people who used to own Shakey's in Sparks. They bought it in 1998.
I ordered the Boulevard combo. I didn't like it because it wasn't much of a combo. It was more of a sausage/olive pizza with a smattering of other ingredients, like mushrooms and pepperoni.
Part of the reason the sausage and olives overwhelmed the pizza is because they are fresh, good quality ingredients. It's not noticeable at chain pizza places when they do this because the olives are canned and the sausage tastes like cardboard. .These are fresh black olives and the sausage has genuine sausage flavor.
There's lots to like about this pizza, though, starting with the crust. One of the better pizza crusts in town. It's thin and flavorful. I asked the secret. I had heard about people putting olive oil and sugar in the crusts and that making a difference. All they would say is that they use a brick oven instead of a conveyor belt and that allows them to char the crust perfectly.
Good sauce, too. And I liked the mushroom and pepperoni, What they used, anyway.
I expect to come back to try other pizzas. Monday they have large pepperoni for $9 and that could be a steal.
The bar is separate. They have about eight beers on tap. Mostly the usual suspects. Nothing I was interested in trying.Comment from Tony K. of Boulevard Pizza 3/26/2010

This is on my top 5 list of fav pizzas. Very good pizza! There are other things on the menu: sandwiches, chicken wings, and a small salad bar. Place is never too crowded, or even if it was there is plenty of bench style seating and some booths. Its a big place with a small bar in a separate room.

Very low grade pizza here. Nice guy at the counter and the yelp discount does work. Old games there too and a little overpriced. The place is big though If you had a ton of kids to feed. I was really hoping for something better but this was a let down after reading the other reviews. Bummer.

I am a big pizza fan. I love the amount of toppings and they don't skimp on the ingredients. I also love how the sauce is not overpowerful or too dry. I like how the pizza has a chewy texture for a thin crust. This is one of the best places to eat at. The only drawback is the salad bar. The iceberg lettuce doesn't appear too fresh, but who comes here for salad anyway?

since my fav pizza joint closed and moved to sactown i am on a quest to find some new pizza so i figured i would try. i had a pepperoni pizza and all i can say it was like eating round table pizza and i want the real deal so i was disappointed. i want that ny style and this wouldnt last a week back east
