My family and I took our dog here the last few years of his life, and I really wish that we would have taken him there sooner (but we used our old vet until we realized he wasn't that good).  This place is more of a vet's office than animal hospital, but I guess they do some procedures.

The staff at Blvd. is really fantastic.  They're friendly, helpful, and, most important, great with animals.  I always felt like the vet especially cared about our dog's health.  My dog had a lot of problems when he got older - bad teeth, an enlarged heart with a heart murmur, a slipped disc in his neck, a hernia, and bad back knees.  Yes, my poor puppy started falling apart.  The vet at Blvd. really treated each issue, though, which included sending my dog to a doggie cardiologist for an EKG and heart medication.   Obviously, my dog had a heart murmur and other issues before we brought him to Blvd., but the old vet never picked up on them.  However, the Blvd. vet picked up on the heart problem and other stuff right away on our first visit.  I really think that going to Blvd. Animal Hospital prolonged my dog's life a few more years (he was 12 when he finally passed away).  It was also really sweet to get a consolation card and phone call from the people at Blvd. when they heard about our dog passing away (they referred us to an emergency doggie hospital at the end because he went into congestive heart failure).  If I get another dog, which I hope to, I would take him/her to Blvd. without hesitation.

The only bad thing about the place is parking because they are located on Grant Ave., between the Boulevard and Bustleton, and getting a spot on the street without getting hit by the cars behind you is tough.  It's also possible to park across the street in the Greenman's Deli shopping center lot, but good luck crossing 4 lanes of traffic without getting run over.
