This place was close to being good. With more attention paid to the details, I could see it going up to 4 stars, possibly 5 on a really nice day.
The wait staff is totally cool. Really nice, friendly, and helpful. The jukebox, while initially loud, was turned down slightly when people started to have conversations. Also very cool of them.
However, the food just wasn't quite there. The chips were a bit stale. I'm not sure if it was salsa verde or just a really funky guacamole that was served with it. The nachos con chorizo were almost great, if not for the chips. And the torta al pastor's bread was a bit stale, and the pork kind of disagreed with me. Plus there were a ton of tomatoes on it, which struck me as slightly odd.
But the portions were good. The chorizo was good. The beer was good. Late at night, it goes more into dance club mode, and seems like it's kicking. It just needs to work on the food. -

okay...i come to this place alot....i never try the food...Its open late 4am...Nothing but drunk mexicans,.....the chicks that work there are very rude...I still come to the place....i have a couple of friends and it free drinks all night...i dont reccommend the food.....it just looks bad.....seriously....i just wouldnt...this place is known for late night drinkers and waitresses you can take home...
