I found this place thanks to being an idiot.
I was lighting a candle and dropped a match on an afghan belonging to my mother...putting a huge hole in it, I decided to buy her a new one.
I work in Faneuil Hall and figured I could find something nice and "Bostony" close to my office. I came across this cute little gift shop and found the perfect afghan with a Boston theme that I knew my mom would love. And now I even want one for myself!
This little gift shop is run by a historical society that is in charge of preserving the OLD State House in Boston. I felt good about making my purchase from this store instead of another shop or cart because I knew my dollars were going to support something good. And surprisingly, the gifts were cheaper than most places around. I also think the woman behind the desk was either REALLY nice or wanted my butt because she gave me a discount and kind of hit on me. I was awkward, FOR SURE.
Anyway, if you're looking for some nice, classy Boston themed items I would definitely check this little museum shop out. You'll leave happy and your money will go to support a good cause too! -

Teeny-tiny little shop in Faneuil Hall. I like to browse though it anyway. It's hard to get around such a small space, but they do have some really nice and unique items for sale. Good store to get gifts. Christmas is coming!!!
