Review from Mike P.
Broadview Heights, OH
What used to be a house built in the early 1800s is now a small museum about the history of canal boat building. Artifacts that are super cool to look at and descriptions and other wording are easy to understand and not "in yo face" that you would get from a dullard history teacher in the worst public schools and the "tough guy Ima gonna whoop your ass if you don't shut up" history teacher in a religious oriented school. In other words, its a fun local history lesson that does a better job than what the average history text book, union teacher, and army sergeant wannabe religious school teacher could ever do. Oh yeah!
There's also a small gift store to buy Cuyahoga Valley National Park souvenirs with stuff that looks nice at not so nice prices. You can also purchase tickets for the train ride that goes through the Valley, as well as CVNP Memberships, and even snow shoe rentals.
This place is located where the Towpath Trail and Boston Mills Road intersects. Its very popular and can get busy with those cycling, running and walking on the Towpath. A must see and do. As NASCAR driver Joey Logano said on a commercial for http://nascar.com superstore. "check it out!". -

We stopped here during a long bike ride. It was quaint enough and it was nice to hit the general store for some fresh water.
