I recently had a party using Boston Princess Parties and it was unbelievable!!! I was a bit nervous at first because I did not know what to expect but "Dorothy" was just incredible with the kids. It was for my daughter's third birthday and we had lots of kids attending. As soon as she walked into the room, she controlled everything with the kids. All the parents just sat and enjoyed the wonderful entertainment. She was a true professional!
She sang lots of songs for the kids while interacting with them and making some really cute balloons. Not one child moved from their spot as she sang. They LOVED it! Her voice was so beautiful and she was so cute and so wonderful with the children. She knew exactly what to do. She did other activities with them and knew how to control a large number of preschoolers. I was truly amazed!
I would 100% recommend this company to anyone who wants a very memorable party for their kids. My daughter is still asking if "Dorothy" can come over soon. The kids were upset when she had to go. I also had many parents asking where I booked her - they all loved it!!!! Again, a great company and service - 5 star!!!! I will book them again next year!
We LOVE Boston Princess Parties!!!! I have used Boston Princess Parties 3 times, first for my oldest daughter's princess birthdays, and now for her little sister's too. I first saw one of their performers at a friend's party, and my daughter was so enchanted that I knew I had to call for her party. We've had a Belle, a Sleeping Beauty, and a Cinderella, and they have all been fantastic- we've been to Disney, and these girls outshined even the "real thing"!! We love the face painting and balloons, and we're amazed that the boys get into it too!
The customer service people are also great- the first time I called, I wasn't sure what I wanted for our party, and the planner patiently explained their programs and then put together something perfect for us. Even when I had to change the date and time of a party a couple of times, the people I spoke to were really understanding.
I think one quote from my daughter at her 3rd birthday sums it up for me: "Mommy! Mommy! It's the real Cinderella!!!" As long as my girls believe in princesses, we will always have Boston Princess Parties birthdays!!!
Beware of this company!!!!! In May, I hired "Princess Jasmine" from a company called Boston Princess Parties to come for my daughter's 4th birthday. She truly was phenomenal. She was very talented and did a great job of involving the kids and making it a fun party for the kids. As a result, my younger one was really hoping that Cinderella would show up for her birthday party last weekend. So of course, I arranged for that. Cinderella not only did not compare, but I thought was horrible and a complete waste of money. She didn't do many of the things I was told that she would and she did absolutely NOTHING to make the kids comfortable with her or to involve them in the party. Instead, it was frankly as though she wasn't even there. I would have been better off getting a friend to dress up as Cinderella. When I called the company to let them know (i swear in a really nice way) that I was disappointed in how my daughter's birthday turned out, they didn't ask a single question about why. Instead, in an unbelievably rude tone, immediately said that I should be grateful that i got a "pretty girl" in a cinderella costume to travel through crazy traffic on a beautiful summer day. Um, isn't that their business and aren't I paying for that?!?!? The person who always answers the phone, Armand, didn't care what went wrong or how it could have been better. He railed into me for being disappointed. He said several times "you got a pretty girl" as though that's what it was all about and nothing else. Above all else, he was obnoxious and rude. He didn't even pretend to engage in any customer service. and, btw - i wasn't looking for anything. I just wanted to let them know that my experience this time was extremely disappointing compared to the last. By the end of the call, I was livid. So, fyi to you all who are considering a princess party - think twice about this company! What you get actress to actress varies tremendously and the company could care less about whether or not you were satisfied!
