I wouldn't say that Brenda Baker is the warmest Gyno in the world, but honestly, I'm not trying to look for a best friend in the person who scrapes my cervix yearly. I'm sorry, but the person who does that is by default My Mortal Enemy. Heh. I'm not a fan of doctors. However, fair warning, if you're overweight, like I am, she will and always will, get on your case about that. But, she's a doctor and weight is a health concern -- so I understand -- but if you're chunky and get sensitive, she is not the Gyno for you.
I haven't had any problems overall, I have called in and filled prescriptions with no trouble -- and I even had an emergency situation once and they handled that quickly and effectively. The desk/nurse staff is very friendly and kind -- even if Brenda Baker's bedside manor is a little less "YAY VAGINAS" -- she is overall a good doctor and does her job well.
So, I'd say that, if you're like me and just looking for a Gyno for your yearly check-up and birth control -- this place is the place for you.
I also got my Gardasil shot through these people and it's been quick and mostly painless and the nurse is super friendly.

I wanted a good gynecologist when I moved to the area last year. Melissa B's review plus the fact that the office is close to home led me to try it.
I was overwhelmed by how amazing the staff is! My regular check up was so comfortable and caring. Dr. Baker took so much time to speak with me about my concerns and she treated me with complete respect. There was no embarrassment and she is one of the only doctors I have been to that actually listened to me with careful consideration and gave me several options.
Only down side is that if you have FSA debit card, they cannot accept it. So I think you either have to pay via check or get billed in the mail.
This office is right off the brookline village T stop, where there is some parking garages and street meters as well.
She is so good I think she deserves flowers the next time I see her.

I absolutely love Dr. Croopnick. I have never met a doctor (GYN or otherwise) who is so easy to talk to, who remembers you like she does (or at least takes the time to read the chart before hand), and who is so easy to talk to. She is the best.
For the ladies, I've been going to this ob/gyn for over 10 years. Wonderful, wonderful women with real lives and real personalities. Fun, too. I can't say enough good things.
I have gone to Brenda Baker and feel that she is always rushed. She is not warm and I felt she dismissed the concerns I brought in.
