I did not eat in Boston Market for years because, despite enjoying the comfort food the offer, everything was served on plastic plates, with pointless plastic dome warmers, that could only be disposed of in the trash. Last night as I walked by I noticed that people were eating I reusable washable plates. Needing food, I decided to go in.
The food remains decent . And the reduction of pointless plastic land/ocean fill is at huge plus! But they still use big plastic disposable cups for drinks, which is producing lots of pollution and plastic trash.
They could do more to promote a healthier planet. I am one of those annoying type consumers who does not buy anything plastic if I can avoid it. So next time, I will take in a can of something to drink. -

Really bad for you, calorie-laden food, especially some of the sides. They added calorie counts the menu board, and wow, did that stop ME from going there very often.
I had a craving for chicken pot pie one lunch, so i said "sod it" and went. (Getting the steamed -- i.e. very bland -- veggies for a side.
What's odd and awkward about this place is the practice of serving eat-in items on a ceramic plate and making a fuss of walking you to your table.
But you still get plastic silverware and get a (huge) plastic cup.
You then have to leave your plate to get drinks, which left me uncomfortable. I'd rather if they were going to do this, they do like some Paneras so and make your food and bring it out to you after you get your drinks. -

I generally like Boston Market food a lot.
The food at this particular location was OK at best. The corn bread was thinner than usual and quite hard, the pasta in the mac n cheese was under cooked, and the mashed sweet potatoes had lumps in it.
On a more positive note, the staff was very attentive and polite. -

To be honest, I'd probably take a bath in a tub of their mac and cheese using their cornbread as a bar of soap.
I love Boston Market and really enjoy their side dishes as well as their sandwiches. They have fresh salads and the complimentary cornbread on the side is awesome. Oh and the chicken pot pie...well, mother may I!?
However this location is hit or miss. Although the lines are not usually long, there always seems to be something off. Like they are out of an item. Or something doesn't taste so fresh. Or someone is yelling at me from the carving station for my order while another looks blindly at me from the register. Who am I supposed to talk to?
All in all, a good fall back for food on the go but this location could step it up a bit when it comes to their service and quality. Whatever, plug my pie hole with a piece of corn bread and I'll be happy. -

I'm t0tally on my blackberry right now, and i'm w8ing on my cornbread! They told me i could "wait around for a bit to see if it's done."
Fuck this! I'm outta here!!
I asked about substitutes, and the woman told me i could have a pack of cranberry sauce.
PUKEzZzz!
Just sayin'!
Back to the doctor to get my lab resultz. -

Awfully good for inexpensive fast food. Their chicken isn't outstanding, but it is a couple notches above the supermarket roast chickens. The veggies are are all good, the tastiest are the fat drenched items like creamed spinach and their sweet potato and marsh-mellows. I find the one near where I work is great for a hearty meal (and a bit of a treat if I'm working late)
You never have to pay full price. Their are almost always coupons that come with the Sunday paper, as well as good coupons on their web site (http://www.bostonmarke...). -

I have always loved Boston Market for the ease and consistency of a decent meal.
The rotisserie chicken skin is JUST SO good. I love a quarter white with extra corn bread, 2 sides mac, one side herbed corn. Sometimes I go for some cranberry sauce on the side. Always satisfies. I try not to eat there more than 6 times a year though...Listed in: Symphony Hall Area

Boston Market is one of my favorite fast-food restaurants, because it feels like real dinner. So when I had time to kill between the first eight and last three hours of an absurdly long work day, I "treated" myself to some Boston Market Thanksgiving-style food.
While the turkey and cornbread were up to par, and the restaurant was quiet, I did have a major problem with the broccoli. Broccoli is my favorite vegetable, and after years of dining hall steam tray food, I've been conditioned to eat broccoli in its less-than-perfect form: dry, soggy, browning, yellowing, shriveling. However, the less-than-perfect broccoli I ate at this particular Boston Market resulted in me having a less-than-perfect stomach function 24 hours later (aka mild food poisoning.)
With so many other fast food restaurants in walking distance of the area, I'd rather spend my $7 on something that won't result in me downing the entire "Stomach Remedies" aisle of CVS.Listed in: Zero Stars

I heart Boston Market.
In highschool, I lived off the Carver sandwiches thanks to an awesomely situated (next door) part-time job.
But then I had a taste of the chicken and sides and I bid adieu to the Carver seeing as I can get more with a meal. I love the mashed potatoes and green beans. The corn is good too. Yes, it is all buttery and fatty but its fast food people.
Quick, easy and oh-so-tasty. -

My wife's chicken pot pie was excellent but the my roasted chicken was dry and not as good as rotisserie chicken from Costco. We did like the side orders: hot and fresh looking/tasting.

In general I'm a fan of Boston Market, but the food here was pretty yucky compared to other Boston Markets. Maybe I'll try it again, but there's a pretty wide selection of food in the area so I won't need to.

Ironically enough, most of my boston market dinners happened in Nj before i moved here. So when i found myself in this area, memories of their yummy Mac n Cheese and chicken came back to me and i went in. The wait- not good! there was one guy ahead of me who was ordering a lot to go, and they seemed flustered and didnt handle the order very fast. when i finally did get waited on, it went fast enough and they were friendly. food was good, restaurant seemed clean and quiet. I say this is an ok place, but they need to improve their service, esp in busy boston.

Approaches the $$ rating. You pay for for you get: a nice, hearty meal. I don't really care about the authenticity background that goes along with the "Boston" marquee. I get fed well at this place everytime I come here with my friends. Definitely the protein one desires. The mashed potatoes and corn are awesome.

Boston Market is reserved for special occasions among me and my roommates. The food, although it is fast food, is always so delicous. The chicken and every side dish, even the biscuits are great. The best part is, they have great family deals so a large group of people can get a lot of food for not a lot of money.

Eh, I don't know why people always rave about this place. The food is pretty mediocre with the exception of the pot pies, the yummy cornbread and the sometimes okayish creamed spinach. Sometimes when I am a long way from home and really craving a decent pot pie, this place will do. However, I think they are pretty overpriced for a take-out/ fast foody type place. I spent $10 and change there today on a lunch which was not very good. There are better places in the area. IMO, why not spend a little more and go somewhere with table service and better food, that is unless you really, really want a pot pie.

I have eaten hear before and not had a problem, yet after tonight i will not return to this location.
I ordered a meal with two sides, one being green beans and the other mashed potatoes no gravy. The associate put gravy on the m.potatoes and attempted to scrape it off with the serving spoon, he then banged the serving spoon against the trash can then added another scoop of m. potatoes onto my plate with the same spoon. The spoon touched the trash can! I left mid order, turned around and left.
I didnt care that there was a bit of gravy still in my m.potatoes BUT this is a health issue. -
Review from Anya S.
I went today around 9 pm. Two hours prior to the closing time. They were out of half the sides.....very disappointing.

This Boston Market is not a great example of the chain, and the service is not very friendly.
