Review from Jeffrey R.
Brighton, MA
I'll admit it - I'm skeptical by nature, and wasn't entirely convinced that hypnosis could be of much help to me, even after reading a lot of positive reviews about Brian online. I was a bit self conscious about whether or not I would be a candidate for hypnosis, or whether my reasons for seeking help were valid. But I try to be open to unconventional alternatives, and in this case, I am so happy I gave it a go.
Brian is friendly, easy to talk to, and instantly put me at ease when we first talked on the phone. Throughout the process, I felt like he genuinely wanted to make this work for me. Rather than flying through the sessions, we decided to space them out over the course of a few months to make sure the improvements I was experiencing were actually sinking in.
The sessions were simple and straightforward. The hypnosis was only one part of the process, and I was surprised by how different it was from my perception of hypnosis (how it works it makes sense, and any fears I had beforehand were totally unfounded.)
All in all, my time with Brian was a real positive turning point for me - not only was the treatment simple and instantly effective, but I'm coming up to a year out from first having seen Brian, and I can say confidently that the results are real and lasting. -

Just one session was helpful to me (that's probably not true for everyone!). I tried this as an alternative to regular therapy and am glad I did. Brian is very sincere and caring. I was actually suspect that I couldn't find anything but fantastic reviews about him online, but it turns out there's a good reason for that!
Specialties
The majority of the work I do is with fear/anxiety and eating issues. Including and in addition to this I help clients in with nail biting, fear of flying, fear of public speaking, phobias, smoking, confidence issues, motivation, test anxiety, stuttering, insomnia, sexual issues, health concerns and a variety of other issues.
History
Established in 2003
I opened BH after traveling extensively to studywith some of the best hypnotists in the world. Since then, I've seen thousands of clients with anxiety, eating issues, insomnia, phobias, compulsions, sexual problems and a wide variety of other issues. The vast majority of those clients have been successful in getting thier issues sovled as I've continued to refine and add skills and techniques. In 2007, I introduced the flat-fee for successful outcome model that gives clients the chance to get their issues solved with a guarantee and without having to worry if things take extra time. Even more clients got good results and things continue to improve as the business grows. Previous to opening Boston Hypnosis, I was a vice president, at Press Access a Boston/San Francisco research company and the public relations research division at LexisNexis. My business background left me with a strong preference for results-oriented approaches that carries into my client work every day.
Meet the Business Owner: Brian M.
I'm a certified hypnotherapy practitioner and master hypnotist with thousands of hours of session experience. I've helped hundreds of clients solve dozens of different types of issues. My goal is to help my clients get what they want.
As quickly and easily as possible. I favor a style that honors each of my client's unique needs and constantly keeps their goals in mind.
My preference is for results-oriented approaches.
I like approaches that get my clients what they want as quickly and easily as possible in a way that lasts. This preference probably comes from my executive level business background with Press Access a Boston/San Francisco media research company and LexisNexis.
