I will start by saying I am extremely vain when it comes to my teeth. I despise veneers, caps, and any type of foolishness that makes people look like horses. When I broke my tooth in half in an unfortunate bowling accident, I went to two dentists.
The first dentist was very aggressive and said if I didn't have all four of my front teeth covered with giant veneers, my teeth would fall out. He has a very fancy office overlooking the Hollywood sign. (High rent, no doubt.) The second dentist of average talent also urged me to get veneers.
Veneers, evidently, are very easy to slap on and any dentist can charge you $1000 to make you look like Mr. Ed.
After some searching, I found Dr. Thein. He is an artist and a perfectionist! He fixed my tooth without a veneer but with a bond. He spent hours perfectly molding a repair that was the exact same shape, color, texture, and translucence of my remaining tooth. My smile is exactly the way it was before my accident.
If you need to have your teeth repaired, do not trust anyone one else. Dr. Thein is the most talented dentist You will ever find. -

Dr. Robert Thein is an outstanding dentist, and I would strongly encourage you to seriously consider him as your family's dentist.
I have been going to Dr. Thein for 27 years! He became my dentist when my previous dentist (Dr. Powell) retired. Over the past 27 years I have learned that Dr. Thein: Is well educated and up to date. His Implant Surgery training has been invaluable to me since I have had 4 implants due to the deleterious effects of chemotherapy. Dr. Thein is up to date because he works with UCLA and a group of other dentists to keep abreast of changes in the field. I have been a patient at one of these seminars. He has a kind and gentle bedside manner. As a matter of fact, his entire staff is that way! Whenever I have had a serious procedure he almost always follows it up with a personal phone call. He also quickly responds to emergency situations. Rates are reasonable and affordable. He and his staff go the extra mile to insure that you know what the costs are up front. Also, they will work with you on a flexible payment plan. Dr. Thein cares about you and your teeth. -

This will probably be my most useful review ever, so read up pals! My CV includes a 15 year stint in the dental field. I worked at 2 completely different types of dental practices, and I know good dental work and dentists from bad.
The first 3 years of my career, I worked as a receptionist for a multi-practitioner office. Due to the fact that there were 4 owners trying to get rich quick, they were not about providing superb care, they were all about the bottom line.
I left there to work for a very well respected, ethical, caring, and competent dentist, and there I stayed for 12 years as his front office manager. When he retired, I was brutally thrust out into the cruel world of dentistry trying to find a new home for my chompers.
I didn't have to look far, because Dr. Thein had always been a go-to Dr. when I was the office manager. We would refer special cases to Dr. Thein, and he always covered for us when we were on vacation. If you are looking for a honest, reliable, extremely competent dentist, then Dr. Thein is your man! His staff is on their toes and Cindy, the front office manager, is always friendly and accommodating. Conservative care and friendly service.
I'm going to call now to make an appointment. This review reminded me how overdue I am for a checkup and cleaning. Oh shoot, I just remembered, they are closed on Fridays. Appointment making will have to wait until Monday.
