I have only been here a couple of times but it is excellent. Recently tried their reuben sandwich and it was the best one I have ever had, hands down. Nothing fancy here...you order at the counter, go sit down and they call your number.

sandwich selection: if you love meat and you're hungry, then you'll love their sandwiches...but other than their thick layered cold cut deli meat inbtwn two slabs of bread....not much else in their sandwich...
recommend: rice ball...(they will ask: w/ salt and cheese? yes, please!)
also: packaged fresh baked bread near the deli slicing area~~ :) -

"I haven't had a hoagie this good since I left Jersey!", those were my words after my first bite of the Caprese sandwich I ordered here while I was in Methuen recently for business.
The sandwich really was tasty. I'm really loving DC and VA but the sandwiches here suck. The sandwiches you get from Borrelli's are enormous. Definitely enough for lunch and dinner, which is exactly what I did. I'm not sure if I'll ever be in Methuen again, but if I am I will definitely make a stop for another Caprese! -

I really like Italian deli's. Dennis's Italian friend highly recommended Borrelli's so I came here to check out the goods.
It has a deli, for sandwiches, small meat counter, small grocery area and pre-made meals.
Their antipasti dishes looked really good esp the stuffed peppers.
The process are a little cheaper than the other Italian stores nearby (Mike's Red Barn) but the sausage that we got was a bit dry and not as flavorful as the competition.
I hope to come back to try a lunch special soon as they have Boar's Head meats. -

An Italian sandwich is all about the bread. The bread used here is crusty and fresh. None of that pasty, tasteless, gummy nonsense that is served up at the likes of Subway or Quiznos. A sandwich at Borrelli's is serious business. They are packed with meat and served up quickly. The deli is a bit expensive but the quality dictates the price. Their chicken parm cannot be matched. They also have some creative Italian sandwiches that are treasures. The chain submarine shops can only dream of serving up sandwiches as delicious as these. They also make their own Italian sausages which are fantastically delicioius; however, you'll pay for them as they are about double what you'll pay in the grocery store. You do get what you pay for though.

Try the Palermo Panini ... a chicken cutlet panini with roasted red peppers and cheese. Absolutely delicious. Visited right at lunch time and they were busy but the line moved quickly and Jack, one of the chef's (formerly of The Vineyard in North Andover) is the best! Worth the stop for any lunch selection!

I got a sandwich for lunch, a turkey club. There was 1/2 LB turkey 6 slices of bacon sloppy tomatoes and lettuce. there was barely any noticeable mayo- I had to choke it down. This place is one of those "more is better" places. Sorry but quality keeps people coming back. I was also supposed to get some potato salad, but alas I got tortellini salad. I expected at least a cup of potato salad, but I got a tiny cup that most restaurants put ketchup in (3 spoonfuls). I went looking for lunch- but I got a $8 slap in the face. Nobody can eat that sandwich without mayo it was waaay to dry. I gave half away and they could not eat it either- too dry. Some stuff is good, but the prices border on gouging!

I love coming here when I am in the mood for something different. Although they offer many of the same Italian Deli basics such as meatball subs, italian subs, and a range of salads and antipasti options, they have rice balls that are to die for! Borrelli's also offers a (you guessed it) full service deli that includes fresh sausage and ready made dinners that you can heat up at home. This is a casual, family owned business that makes you feel right at home.

Fresh tasty sandwiches. I had one called "The Valley" with prosciutto, provolone, peppers, etc, which was great. The bread was fresh and portions generous. They had a variety of specialty sandwiches and also regular sandwiches. There were other items like soups, etc. I look forward to going back and trying more things there.

Delicious bread!!! Take out heat and serve italian dishes are the best! Try the chicken al fredo. The staff could be more friendly. They have homemade soups, salads. and great meat selection. Their italian sausages are amazing and so are their subs.
