These guys definitely deserve more reviews and stars. They are total winners. In early October, I decided to start shopping for plane tickets to the Philippines and Dhaka for weddings. Apparently, shopping for Christmas tickets in early October is WAY TOO LATE! Apparently, everyone and their mothers in the Bay go to the Philippines for Christmas! I had really back luck with finding good prices online. After scouring yelp and walking into various travel agencies in town with agents quoting me ridiculous prices or agents telling me that no seats were available for the dates I wanted (and I was pretty damn flexible in terms of dates) with one agent actually laughing in my face when I told her what I wanted, I was so happy to find Borneo!
Lingga, amazing and wonderful Lingga, helped me and gave me a great price (about $600 cheaper than what I had found online), and held my hand through the entire process. I ended up going to more cities than I had actually hoped for which was awesome. She was great with emails and was always responsive. She was very good about keeping me informed of changes to my schedule. If I were back in SF and needed help with travel arrangements, I would go there again in a heartbeat. -

Lingga is an angel! In trying to book a flight to Vietnam, she has been super helpful and responsive. I sent her a million emails as we were simultaneously searching and she was great about getting back to me right away.
Their prices are competitive but in the end, I found a deal online that was $100 cheaper, and Lingga advised I go with them.
I think they are very busy so their phone manners may be initially curt, but they are very polite and professional!
I plan to continue using them for my hotel booking. Thank you Lingga! -

Great customer service and an even better price for my roundtrip flight to Manila. I've tried other agencies in the past and it seemed like all they were doing was finding the same things I found online for flights (what's the point?).
Borneo has done a great job with finding well-priced tickets and it's nice to know there's a reliable and local agency that can do that. -

I was having a headache of a time getting the right flight on-line. My family is traveling to a wedding in the Caribbean next year and the flights home have an 12 hour layover. No Bueno! My parents aren't young and the layover would be in Philadelphia over night. No thanks.
So, I knew I needed some help and found great reviews for this place. I called and got a nice lady named Kathryn. She said they don't do trips to the Caribbean but she'd see what she could do.
Later that day she had a much better flight set up, had our hotel room and transportation to and from the hotel and airport, and all of this for much less than what I was coming up with on-line. And believe me, I spent hours with every scenario trying to get a package and none were right.
Kathryn saved my sanity with patient emails back and forth and my wallet is all the happier for it. She could have just told me "Sorry, we can't help you", though she didn't. She really did go out of her way to be helpful. Best customer service I have run into in a long time. And she found exactly what I needed.

Borneo Travel deserves 10 stars. I've been busy planning my honeymoon in Thailand and decided to seek the help of travel agents to get airfare. Just looking at what was available online I knew I could get a better deal with an agent.
After speaking with 2 other top rated travel agencies in the Bay Area (3 including Borneo) it was obvious that Borneo was far superior. The other 2 agencies quoted me rates that were no better or more expensive than what was available online which was rather disappointing.The odd part was that they quoted me higher rates but with lesser carriers (China Air, etc.) while Borneo used Cathay Pacific.
Luckily Borneo totally pulled in for me and were total rock stars. They helped me save about $150/person for my flight to Bangkok. That $300 savings is enough to cover for 5 nights of hotel on our honeymoon. :) More money for shopping at the weekent market! YAY! I'd definitely recommend them to anyone who is traveling to SE Asia. -

I just called Borneo looking for a cheaper fare to Singapore than I could find myself online. Seemed like all the agent wanted to do was get me off the phone as quickly as possible. He offered me one option and the fare he found was no better than I could find myself. I'll be looking for another agent.

I just called in this morning and the lady that answered said "hello' which would be fine if this wasn't supposed to be a business. I had to ask if I had the right number.
After I establised that I had called the right place, the boorish woman on the phone was SO unpleasant that I just said that I changed my mind and before I could finish, was hung up on. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL. -

Great service and friendly agents! I wasn't able to find many travel agencies in the city, and came across this one on Yelp. Thanks to the rave reviews, I decided to give it a try. True to the reviews, I got great service with the agent I spoke to on the phone, and the price of the ticket was about $30 cheaper than online.
I'll definitely use them again! -

This is so far the best company to find me my flight ticket so fast and so cheap, even much more cheaper than internet price ( international flight). Can you believe that!!!!! I save approximately $200 everytime I buy the ticket from them. I told some of my friends who are struggling find ticket and they are so agree with me. Reliable service and cheap. Plus they even open on saturday.

Best travel agency. Very competitive prices, even cheaper than what I can find online (at least for tickets to SE Asia). I have bought tickets from them since 2006. Highly recommended, in fact, store Borneo's contact in your iPhone right now!
