The owners of this restaurant also own Tortilla's right down the road. They are nice people that love the business they are in and if you come here, they will probably take the time out to introduce themselves or check with you to make sure you are satisfied. I have come up here a lot just to drink because their drink specials are great and they have golden tee.. : )
The food here is really good and although ive never used them, i like that they take time to send out coupons in the mail for buy one get one 1/2 off dinners etc.. Also, i agree with Jolyn this place is newly remodeled and great for large parties. I dont come here as much as tortilla's because of the drive but i would recommend this place to anyone. Great food, GREAT service and good happy hour specials.
This place is safe to eat...clean food.
OK, so what if Borders is KINDA out of the way for some of you people. So what if you don't want to drive in Houston traffic for some Tex-Mex. So what if you don't care that I adore this place. Well, I'll tell you what....the owner and manager of the restaurant are wonderful, caring, attentive people who actually give a crap about what goes on in their establishment. The food is great, never been disappointed, of course it's just tex-mex but it's easy to screw it up (read some of the taqueria reviews on here for proof), and they never have screwed up the food.
The best part is that when a LARGE group of us teachers headed over for Friday happy hour after an especially long week, they reserved the whole right room for us, devoted two servers to our area, and both managers came to make sure we were getting everything we needed!
