My back yard has basically been neglected for a decade. By the time I called Charlie, everything had been run over by Bermuda grass that was incredibly hard for me to get rid of. I kid you not, it would have taken me months.
He said that he would be able to take care of it within a day, and lo and behold, his guys got the job done in about four hours. He even gave me advice on what weed-killers to use on my lawn.
Highly recommended. -

Charlie made a big effort to contact me after reading my previous review. We played phone tag for a while but finally talked today. He offered to come back to my property and do more work for free (more plant removal and mulching). Unfortunately, I just don't feel comfortable with having more work done. I appreciate his drive to make me a satisfied customer though.

Charlie returned my phone call the same day to schedule a free estimate. He was knowledgeable about drought-resistant plants, gave me great ideas for my small front yard, and worked with me on my budget. He was spot on with his estimate.
His team chopped down heavy-duty bamboo trees and aloe vera plants, installed a drip line for our pre-existing sprinkler system, and planted a small tree, bushes, and kangaroo paw. He also found a beautiful granite boulder for our side entrance.
I would highly recommend him. He will work with your needs and try to save you money where he can. His team is extremely efficient and will turn over the project within days. -

I called Charlie based on the other great Yelp reviews here. We set a date for him to come out and estimate the work a few days after I had initially called. While we weren't sure exactly what we needed. We'd done a terrible job of looking after the yard and the lawn was pretty sick in spots. Charlie offered some great suggestions that would get our yard off the neighborhood offender list. His team mowed, cleaned out overgrowth, trimmed up the trees and bushes, and added some fragrant wood chips around the trees and garden. And he actually started and finished the work the day after he provided his initial estimate! While we've still got to work on the actual lawn, the changes Charlie and his team implemented dramatically changed the look of the yard!
While he's not a cheap deal, he's definitely a quality deal. I was very happy with his suggestions and the changes he made even though I ended up spending a little more than I had anticipated. We're going to continue using Charlie for the other changes that are needed and we would recommend him to anyone looking for quality work and professionalism. -

We have a large landscaped yard, and we asked Charlie and his crew to clean it up after a WET winter. Man, it was overgrown with weeds, and tree sprouts and a mess. This was the third year in a row he cleaned up our yard , hauled off the mess and left us with a STUNNING back Yard!He took care of all the details, even the stuff I forgot to mention, and at a significant discount compared to the gardener we used to use. I would recommend him highly!

Charlie and his crew did a fantastic job at my home. In preparation for house painting and future re-landscaping, Charlie advised me on how to keep my home looking great during the process--removing old landscaping, cleanup and installing pre-landscaping materials. He's very professional and has a thorough knowledge of landscaping. Probably the best workers I've ever had at my home. I'm delighted!!

I called Charlie to get a quote this afternoon for maintenance on my two houses. He came over within 20 mins, and gave me a quote on the spot. Charlie seems very knowledgable, and provided many suggestion as to how to make the yards low maintenance and water conservative. Although he has not done any work for us yet. I have no doubt that he will provide quality service.

Charlie was recommended by a friend and after receiving a few other quotes, Charlie was reasonably priced and by far the most professional. Charlie is very knowledgeable, prompt, and meticulous with his work. He and his team are also very hard working, having removed several large, deep root systems from the side of our house in a timely fashion. His maintenance is also top notch if you require routine service. Overall, we our very pleased with Charlie and will recommed him to others.

Charlie is the best. I Called Charlie on a Wednesday to get an estimate to trim our hedges (mind you they were at least 12 feet tall and out of control). Our hedges surround our entire 3500 sq ft lot. He answered the phone right away, we agreed to have him come out on a Friday to look at the yard, and then he said he would call me at work with an estimate. He called just after noon on Friday. His estimate matched the lowest bid I had received ($300). He and his son came out on the following Monday and did the work. He even went to the neighbors to get their permission to go into their yard to trim the hedges on their side as well. When I came home my yard was spotless. Not only did he clean up all of his trimmings, he cleaned up a dead Bougainvillea that I had chopped down (it was about 6ft tall), a pile of leaves, and neatly stacked some old fence posts and pickets in the corner. When it came time to pay, he still quoted me only $300. Charlie had some great recommendations for the rest of the yard, and said he would work on some designs for me. Hard working, honest, and a class act. Call him. You won't regret it.
