Who knew that I would be heading to Boot Country on a Tuesday evening as part of Girls Night with my two sweet gal pals.
Last night, I was cooking for my two friends when we started talking about cowboy boots and how we didn't have a pair! One thing lead to another and next thing I know, I'm calling Boot Country to see what time they close. "10pm!" We were golden.
We finish our wine and dessert and headed downtown! When we first walked into the store, several other people were inside but it wasn't overly crowded. We perused through our section (we were all the same size!) and when we asked for help, the staff was AMAZING!
The lady took the ones I wanted and double checked what size I needed them in. Then, she came out and made sure that I knew what I needed to check to make sure that the boots were the right fit. I needed to be sure that there was a little slip and that my toes were NOT pinching. She didn't hurry off but took time to comment on the boots and chat with us. She even took a photo for us!
When we were checking out, they gladly split the cost 3 ways so we could each pay.
I'd definitely come back with two friends because Boot Country is famous for buy one, get two free!
Proud owner of my first pair of goat leather cowboy boots! -

Super awesome bootasticness! Not a scam, you pay full price for the first pair (don't expect cheap) but you walk out with 3(!!!) pairs!
I scored huge, only thing is they need more Sasquatch Women size (11) boots, but they had good stuff. Don't miss this shopping excursion (or the BBQ, but that's another review) if you get to Nashville! -

Only in Nashville would you find a "Buy 1 Get 2 Free" type deal on cowboy boots, of all things.
The boots are good quality, and for $170 we walked out with 3 pairs! How do you beat that? -

Boot Country is an appropriate name because they sure do have a lot of boots here! Organized by size rather than style, and grouped by men's, women's, and kids. Admittedly I was a bit disappointed because the boots I loved and would have dropped the cash on were only available in size 6. Sad face.
But with a deal like buy one get two free you can't beat it! If I had known about this deal beforehand I would have brought 2 friends with me to pool our resources and all walk out with a sweet pair of cowboy boots. But as it stood, I didn't love three pairs in my size enough to pony up the dough for them. But I'm very picky when it comes to shoes so that's my fault more than theirs. The prices per pair are comparable with all the other shops on the strip here ($150-350) but that two free deal really makes them the winners in my book. Great, friendly staff too!
Next time I'll be sure to to get my crew together for a little shoe shopping on the cheap! -

I did not purchase anything, but had to write a review because of the great service given to others in my group. 6 of us went in fairly late on a Thursday night because 1 of us wanted some boots. He must have tried on at least 30 different pair. As he has never owned cowboy boots before, he wasn't exactly sure what fit to look for etc. Over the course of the next hour (or more), 3 different employees came by and were very helpful (and patient) in providing him guidance. He did finally narrow it down to 3 pair, which worked out well because it's buy 1 - get 2 free. But, he wasn't committed to buying 3 pair. That's when 2 others in our group started looking. We probably spent close to 2 hours in here (thankfully my friends can be entertaining or I would have been pulling my hair out!). Ended up being still in the decision process when they closed, but none of the employees rushed us out. In fact, the pair one friend had selected had a scratch on it, so they spent 10 minutes or so searching for another identical pair without the scratch - and found it.
In the end, each of the 3 got a pair of boots they liked and they split the $170 cost. What a great deal. And, fabulous customer service. If one day I ever am in the market for cowboy boots (somehow I don't see it - just not my thing, but you never know), I'd definitely come here.
And, because Nashville is a prime tourist destination, if you get your boots home and for some reason they aren't quite right, you can send them back and they'll exchange them. They need to look unworn - so only worn inside - but still, that's cool of them.Listed in: Music City

Boot country found its specialty and sticks to it perfectly. There are accessories for sale too, such as shirts and belts, but for the most part it is boots.
When I stopped in over the weekend they were having an ongoing sale of buy one pair, and get two pairs of a lower value for free. Seems like a pretty good deal; or they have the most ridiculous mark-up ever. The prices are high, but so are the prices in a lot of Broadway stores. -

Whose bed have your boots been under?
And whose heart did you steal, I wonder?
And this time, did it feel like thunder, baby?

This store is the total bomb. I would fly to Nashville specifically to go here again. Written up in the guidebooks as "where the locals go to get western style boots" this place is truly where it's at. The selection is amazing. I have big feet for a woman (size 12... ) and was able to find a pair of amazing pink western style boots in this shop. AMAZING. While that was the only colorful pair that fit my feet, for women with size 10, 9, 8, 7, or smaller, there was a huge variety - blue, turquoise, lime green, pink, purple, red, yellow, black and brown. All very cute. Lots of boots in men's sizes as well.
I'm only sad that Nashville doesn't have a larger community of drag queens - if it did, perhaps I would have had a wider selection of colorful shoes for my big feet!Listed in: Flora's Nashville Haunts, Shoes, OMG, Shoes

If you've ever walked Broadway during the weekend tourist boom, you'll notice several girls getting kicked out of Wildhorse Saloon for being underage. And on their prissy little feet are brand new cowboy boots and you just know where they got them.
Boot country is the downtown answer to the RCC Western Store, offering cowboy boots in every shape and color. I even tried on some crazy teal ones when we first moved here. There are hats as well, and it's really fun to try them on and just goof off in general. I kind of feel bad for the place because you know that's what half their days consists of: watching non-customers trying on stuff to be silly then walking out.
If you're in town I want something very southern and very Music City, I'd say this is the place. Be ready to pay out the wazoo though, these things are expensive. -

Man...it's a damn shame I'm not a guy who can pull off cowboy boots. Visiting this place makes me want to buy a turquoise pair of snakeskins and trot around like a real live cowboy. Too bad I'm not that cool.
I don't frequent boot shops, so I don't know if the prices here are typical or not. I can tell you, however, that I didn't see a single pair of boots for less than $150. Most authentic-looking cowboy boots run somewhere around $300, but the sales lady told me every pair in the store was buy-one-get-two-free. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Boot Country also has a pretty large selection of rodeo and Western style shirts. Most of them were about $50, but everything on the men's rack was 50% off. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they don't seem to mind letting crazy tourists try on their merchandise and pretend to be Roy Rogers.
As you can probably tell, I'm not really the cowboy type. This store kind of makes me wish I was, however. The whole place smells like leather, and their boots range from rough-looking shit-kickers to nice and polished boots you could wear to a funeral...if you're an old oil magnate or the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. Pretty cool spot to look around even if you can't swing one of their fancy pairs of kicks. -

This place is not only an amazing deal, it is a fun time! Who can say no to buy 1 get 2 free?
I had heard rumors about this place from others, but could ot confirm its validity. My girlfriend and I thought it was an urban legend. I confirmed it by finding the reviews on Yelp and could not wait to visit.
My girlfriend and I went on a Saturday morning. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed very warmly. Looking at all the tall racks of boots, I knew this was going to be fun. Within minutes, I had found 2 pairs that I knew I had to have. She took a bit longer to find that perfect pair that would fit her needs. While trying on one pair, we were approached by a gentleman who started talking in detail about this particular pair and how they were rare and different. We struck up a conversation with him only to find out he was originally from Indiana as we were. In talking to other employees, apparently he has a thing for picking out people from Indiana. He knows his people, he said. It was a lot of fun.
After about an hour or so, we walked out with not one, not two, but THREE pairs of killer boots, all for UNDER $200. I highly recommend this establishment and we will be going back. -

If you're in Nashville and you're lookin' for a new pair of boots, this is THE place to go, for sure!
A friend and I picked out a matching pair, plus I scooped up a nice pair of black Harley boots, and the total? All three pairs cost less than $200. She and I split the cost and walked out happyyyyy!
I can't wait to come back and get a few more pairs!! -

How can you beat their awesome deal?
Buy 1 pair of boots and get 2 free pairs! That's awesome!!!!
My hubby and I were in there for at least 2 hours trying to find the perfect pair of cowboy boots.
The staff was extremely friendly and more than willing to get me different sizes when after they asked me what my boot size was. Huh? Boot size? I figure it was my shoe size. Wrong! They explained a crucial thing about cowboy boots I never really knew - the best way to get a good fit is to try on boots that are 2 sizes bigger than your shoe size. This allows for ample wiggle room for your toes. The top of the boot that goes over your toes will never ever stretch in that area so you have to make sure you can wiggle your toes. If you buy a boot that's the length of you foot (your shoe size), your toes will likely be jammed up in the pointy part of the tip of the boot. Not so comfy!
Not into cowboy boots, like my hubby? He found an awesome pair of black Harley Davidson riding boots that zip up the sides and lace up the front like a regular boot.
If you're from out of town and flying home, don't make the mistake I did and buy the oil at the counter that they offer for you to protect your boots with. There's nothing wrong with it if you're checking bags in, but I wasn't, so I wouldn't be able to get on a plane with this stuff. They happily let me return it for my money back.
I was in Nashville one month ago and can honestly say I've worn my cowboy boots every single day since I've been back. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! They are the coolest purchase I've made in a while. -

This place is soooooo dangerous!!!
How can you pass up a buy 1 get 2 free deal? At the very least you have to take a look. I walked out with $400 worth of boots for $200.
These aren't cheesy boots either. Sure they have the gaudy boots, but they also have regular boots as well. They also have all of the name brands. You are just at the mercy of what they have.
The first time I was here, I picked up a pair for me, my sister, and a friend of mine. The pair for my friend dosen't fit her, but with the Exchange Only policy I won't have a problem fixing the issue. As long as it's the same model boot they have no issues switching them out.
Now that I'm back here in Nashville, I need to ensure that I stay away or I'll end up going home with 3 pairs of boots I don't really need, but want. -

I'm going back to Nashville so I can pick up a pair of turquoise boots and to visit friends of course. About 20 of my friends picked up some cowboy boots here. They had a buy 2 get a pair free special during our trip.

Boot Country is home of the eternally ridiculous buy 1 pair get 2 pair free sale. Though they do carry a small rack of shirts, belts, and buckles, their main aim is to get you out the store with at least 3 pairs of boots. Though I'm neither a cowgirl, nor a hipster cowboy boot wearer, I have never been closer to buying a pair of boots, seriously. They have a good variety at a good price, and with the idea that you could pay for 1 pair and walk out with 3 it's hard to resist taking a look inside.

A NASHVILLE MUST! If you live in Nashville or if you are just visiting you are going to eventually need a pair of boots. So....you might as well have three pair of boots! My husband and I went today and paid $190 for one pair and we each got a pair for free. They have a good selection from $30 to over $300. They have traditional boots, hipster boots, men boots, baby boots, all sorts of colors. It's really a lot of fun!
