In Texas, Fort Worth, no less, our breakfasts consist of breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy, and Egg McMuffins. Nothing is wrong with the most important meal of the day being centered around these offerings, but every once in a while, I like to eat one of those starchy items that happen to contain a hole. Additionally, Boopa's cranks out New York style spreads and an assortment of baked goods alongside the vast array of the East Coast breakfast staples.
The mini-muffins were an awesome way to just get a little taste of everything. The cranberry nut and blueberry were pretty good. Nothing fancy, just a tasty bite of something not too sweet.
The mini cinnamon rolls were also not bad. Again, nothing fancy, and I would have preferred my frosting to be less dense.
So, it may seem that nothing really stood out to me... but, in fact, I am a huge sucker for Pumpernickel. They offer one of the tangiest, heartiest ones I have bit into. Paired with the lite veggie spread, it was superb.
Great service, great products, and local! A must-try when in the D F Dub. -

This review is solely based on the bagels & cream cheese-I haven't yet had a sandwich or anything other then what they are primarily known for.
that being said.....
this place is AWESOME. SO. GOOD.
I love bagels, honestly. I don't know why, but I do. These are dense, chewy on the inside, crunchy on the outside, little flavor packed yum yums. Makes me not miss New York bagels so much...a little bit.
My favorite bagel? hands down---pumpkin. sugary crunchy little crust on the outside, yummy fall flavor inside! Mix it with their amazing (times 109820198) honey walnut cream cheese? yes, a thousand times yes.
boopa's you are delicious, and I'm partially glad I don't live closer to you because I would weigh 500 lbs. -

The best bagels you're going to find anywhere close to DFW are from Boopa's. "The Lox" is outstanding, as another Yelper mentioned. You just can't go wrong here if you're looking for anything bagel. It's that simple.
It's definitely worth adding that they get their coffee from Avoca Coffee, which is a local coffee roasting company down on Magnolia St. just south of downtown Ft. Worth who makes damn good coffee in itself.
The service is great and very friendly. It's the kind of place that you'd enjoy going to, even if their product weren't outstanding. I feel a little sorry for the unfortunate people eating a few doors down at Starbuck's. -

This place is so yummy! I've been here a few times and have had a good experience each time. Workers are super friendly, the place is clean and the bagel sandwiches are deeeeee-licious. I've tried every sandwich on the menu and my favorite is the Tomato and Herb Turkeyville. You can call in your order and they're super fast and courteous. My only negative point is that it closes too early, 2pm to be exact. I can't tell you how many times I've"ve forgotten that and shown up after hours. However, I did show up one time at 1:55pm and they were more than happy to make my sandwiches. Also if you come by closing bagels are sold at a discounted price...yay! Definitely try this place.

Boopa's is fantastic! I order breakfast and coffee here a couple times a week (on the days I work). The Grogg is a excellent! I usually order an eggel with no meat (just egg and cheese), boopalaches or a bagel with cream cheese. All of these are awesome! The boopalaches are also great for a group if you need a party tray. The Boopa's crew is always friendly and helpful. Boopa's is highly recommended!

I had a craving for an authentic Jewish bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers and lemon. I didn't find it at Boopas.
But...I found a pretty good fake.
They don't have lemon to squeeze on the lox...so that made me sad. they don't put enough capers on the bagel...and the bagel was VERY hard. BUT...but...it was pretty freakin tasty.
I bought a flavored bagel with plain creme cheese, my plain bagel with creme cheese, lox and capers and a bag of "last night's" bagels (5 of them) for a little over $10. Seemed kinda pricy...but it'll do in a pinch. -

Delcious bagels. True bagels that are cooked in water.

I've soured on this place ever since I stopped by and one of their food cases was full of flies. Bagels just don't sound so good anymore. Also, their coffee wasn't that great the last few times. Maybe my tastes have changed.

Best bagels in Fort Worth, great staff. And I will walk past Starbucks any day to get a cup of the highlander grogg.

Very nice casual place to grab a bagel. It gets busy and it's pricy compared to bagel shops in California. I love their seasonal pumpkin bagel with pumpkin cream cheese. I also get their sausage rolls which are great too. Large selection of bottled drinks and they also have a good selection of coffee. They have a couch with magazines and books so it's a good place to hang out for awhile.
